As Sydney! has already said De Gea is done bar actually signing papers. Also I have heard that Young may actually be a goer, have heard absolutely nothing on this one before (I believe I also said would never play for United) but was told tonight that we are in for him, although in a way I hope we don't get him. Looking forward to De Gea in the sticks (dare I say it could be better than VDS in a couple of years). Keeper sorted just need a couple of CM's (attacking and defensive) and were sorted for a few more years. Also what a result tonight Rooney/ Park/ Carrick were absolutely brilliant.

Benitez going to atletico madrid
looks like united won't be getting de gea, whiskey nose will regret refusing to sell heinze to him a few years ago!

*If De Gea decides he wants to move to OT the move will be done well before Benitez arrives and even if not, it isn't Benitez decision who De Gea goes to. Atleast sign your post if you insist on embarrassing yourself.

"Sky Italia are reporting that man united sent out SAF brother martin to watch a. Sanchez last Saturday however Sanchez was injured in warm up and didn't play any part in the match. united also apparently had a 12m-euro bid turned down in the summer."

@That's right, in the summer of 2009 we had a bid of 12m euro turned down, not summer of 2010.

I'm reply to;

Heard from a mate from the blue side of scouseland that evans will be sent to everton on loan as part of the rodwell deal, don't know if true or which evans it is (would assume johnny tho) personally i don't think rodwell will be coming this season (if at all) but thought would pass it along anyway and see what you all thought

@ If true I would expect it to be Corry Evans, with the injuries we seem to always pick up especially in defence every season, I can't see it being Jonny Evans (although he has been poor this season when called upon, he is a great prospect and one we cannot afford to lose him for a season) plus with Arteta and Fellaini most likely leaving this summer, they are in the market for a CM rather than a CB.

Inter want a Sneijder for Nani swap leaving the way open to spend the £30M earmarked on a midfield player for Gareth Bale. Gives balance with a left side player plus Morrison coming through and Valencia and Cleverly on the right.

Personally i feel that the signing of young would spell the end of tom cleverley's untied career. Which is something that i think would be a big mistake. Sir alex was really impressed with tom during pre season and has said that he'll be returning in the summer and will be getting games next season, well with nani valencia park and giggs all challenging him for a spot on the wings do we really think that we'll be signing young as well to give us 6 first team and arguably 6 first choice wingers? It would be impossible to keep them all happy. I would like to know where this young rumour came from, as i seem to remember it coming from the tabloids but aren't 100% sure. Everyone i've spoken to who has connections have said that they aren't aware of any interest in young. I think it lazy journalism that has just ran on too long.
