: RVP signed on a 3 year contract with an option of 4th year . Fee at £20 million. Could rise to £24 million if man utd win league . Done!!

Believable10 Unbelievable49

Excellent

Agree0 Disagree1

Copied and Pasted from a guy on twitter.......

Agree2 Disagree0

Arsenal will not sell him to us , hope I'm wrong but doubt it

Dustbin

Agree1 Disagree0

Very unlikely this has happened. I am crossing every extremity for it to happen though.

Dan

Agree0 Disagree0

This is correct deal is done subject to medical

Agree0 Disagree0

No he didn't lol. Someone's reading to much twitter.

United Till I Die 1987

Agree0 Disagree0

Twitter is not a source haha

Agree0 Disagree0

There is no way Arsenal will sell to us, especially after we gave them Silvestre!!

Devilmusic

Agree0 Disagree0

Bull-widdle

Agree0 Disagree0

Personal terms have already reportedly been agreed. This is not news. Arsenal have to accept a bid.

Dan

Agree0 Disagree0

No really, it's word for word from a tweet a so called agent posted yesterday.

We are no nearer to getting RvP than we were last week, Sir Alex is currently looking at other option if things continue to drag on, I believe he has 2 possibly 3 players in mind I think we could be pleasantly surprised over the next couple of weeks..

There's some no life clown going round pretending to be Sydney! So be thankful that you have a life that this t!t doesn't have.

G.A.G.U.S {Ed007's Note - They have been blocked GAGUS.}

Believable4 Unbelievable3

Yeah they were stupid enough not to put the exclamation mark at the end, what a sad person

Agree0 Disagree0

Really! I love clowns ..... Jokin.. I actually tryed to reply to one ....... Bolt ...... Good idea....along them line but also said maybe wasn't Sydney ..... What happens if syd gets word that bolt is comin what do we do ..... Wat a pickle I'm gonna sleep on this one be back soon

CAIN

Agree0 Disagree1

Good. Can you block Puzzled and Blair too? lol

G.A.G.U.S {Ed007's Note - Can't you just take Blur's laptop/phone off him? He's your partner GAGUS, if you are having relationship problems go over to the MMT site where my eternal wisdom on such things is freely available. Don't bring your domestic spats on here. Puzzled is just like Ronseal, does exactly as it says on the tin.}

Agree0 Disagree0

He spends all day in the basement Bond! He needs to get out of there. Anytime I try to take the laptop off him, he tries to bite me and he could have all sorts of diseases! However there is no way they could be sexually transmitted diseases as Blair does not have a sex life.

G.A.G.U.S

Agree0 Disagree0

I can vouch for Ed007, his advice is useful. And I'm sure he will be able to sort out the issues facing you and Blair. After all if G.A.G.U.S and Blair can't make it then what hope is there for the rest of us?!?!
KiwiRed

Agree0 Disagree0

I think that Puzzled's real name is Bewildered

I do hope Sir Alex was at the german cup final tonight. Lewandowski scored an excellent goal and was the stand out player for BVB.

Would much rather him than RVP.

this isnt a rumour or anything but i do wonder why on the manchester united gossip section on the clubs official website it says:
"Any other interested parties will have to move extremely quickly for Jack Rodwell as Manchester City have agreed a £15million fee with Everton and the England international is set to undergo a medical before completing the move."
Surley this isnt a rumour why they sayin it any ideas?

Believable5 Unbelievable4

I reckon City have gone for Rodwell and Sinclair just to tick boxes on paperwork i.e. to fulfil the homegrown player rule.
These poor lads have been duped!

Agree1 Disagree0

Homegrown doesn't state you have to have a certain number of homegrown players, it says you can't register more then 18 non-homegrown players.
But it's up to you to name homegrown players or not on top of that.
I'm sure they plan to use them, or they could have just left those spot unused and play, or not play, youngsters instead.

I think it was about silencing Mancini with his unbelievable taste for new signings. Seems addicted like Harry Redknapp

Are the rumours true that we have bid for levwendoski?

Believable3 Unbelievable20

12 Aug 2012 20:40:55
Guys .. Just heard that it is very unlikely we will get RVP.. Arsenal holding out for £25 mill, and fergie only willing to go to £18 million.. Likely RVP to stay ... We are apparently reviving the deal for lewandowski.

Believable13 Unbelievable9

Forger rvp.... we need a quality midfielder we cant keep going with scholesy and giggs.. reason we were so bad in europe

Agree0 Disagree1

I can assure you RVP will sign for Utd

Agree0 Disagree2

12 Aug 2012 18:59:28
I was on the scousers page today and some of them are convinced joe allen is better than scholes! I remember when Henderson was the best thing since sliced bread. Cant wait for the new season! Liverpool to scrape 7th place!

Ste-Utd

Believable28 Unbelievable13

I am a regular on that page and am a Liverpool fan, not one person has stated Allen is better than scholes . Some of us can see the potential in him but nobody claims he is better than scholes.

Nevada

Agree1 Disagree0

No midfielder (not even Gerard) in the world except Xavi and Iniesta are even a patch on the ginger prince. The world knows that.

Dan

Agree1 Disagree0

There will not be another Paul Scholes for 50 years!

Joe Allen is good, but nowhere near Paul Scholes quality!

Agree2 Disagree0

Well i saw it, try search function on the banter page and its there.

Agree0 Disagree0

Scholes is finished and so are United

Agree0 Disagree2

I'm surprised that last postee with no name didn't finish off with "Scholes is finished and so are United.....ner ner ner ner ner!" The world of journalism can sleep safely in their beds tonight! Ianskip

Agree0 Disagree0

Bring it on Std! I rather think United are looking a bit average. When exactly are you going to replace your geriatric midfield.....
KiwiRed

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldn't pay much attention to them, they'll be languishing in mid table yet again, not competing for titles!

My source has confirmed that SAF is going to make a further bid for Luka Modric and the belief is that he will sign. RVP will not be joining. SAF has been told by Arsenal that they would rather let him run his contract down than sell to us. INTHEKNOWATOT

Believable9 Unbelievable16

Can't believe that tbh when all is said and done they are business men they will sell to someone

Pardoe

Agree0 Disagree0

That would be great news if we can get Modric, far more important than RVP although getting RVP would be great!

Dan

Agree1 Disagree0

Your source also said Nick Powell would be loaned back out and we would sign demba ba and modric.....

Agree1 Disagree0

Don't understand why they wouldn't sell to us, we have always had a good relationship with arsenal we sold them silvestre I know rvp is a totally different standard of player but still the same principles of a transfer negotiation

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe they are being funny BECAUSE we sold the Silvestre?

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Aug 2012 18:50:48
I would absolutely love a double raid on Arsenal for Alex Song and Robin Van Persie.... They would improve our team immensely. Song would dominate our midfield and he is very talented imo. Both would cost around £40million all together and that would be good business.

George

Believable8 Unbelievable26

£40m is atrocious business for them pair. Song isn't worth anywhere near £25m.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

No but RVP is going to end up costing £25million if we sign him plus £15million for song i wouldnt moan

George

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree Song is steel in Midfield and seems to be able to pick a pass (Last season he was responsible for quiet a few of RVP's goals)
James.

Agree0 Disagree1

Like it or not, but Song is definitely a ball winner. Don't know hw good he is at attacking, but as a CDM I think he is pretty good. Syd you don't agree?(just curious)

Massive rumour coming from the council house is that CITY have agreed a deal to sign RVP ! Apparently all Mancini's moaning was just a smokescreen !

Salford red

Believable8 Unbelievable36

City won't sign rvp tevez is staying and so is dzeko they have 4 world class strikers and would have to sell before they brought in more players they already have a big squad as it is and I havnt really seen any big names leaving city yet

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Aug 2012 19:54:31
One for the rumour mill. A Polish commentator has claimed that his sources from Dortmund say there's a €30m bid from Man Utd being discussed for Robert Lewandowski.

sorry for copy paste

IMO lewandowski would be better than RVP coz he is young and not injury prone

Believable26 Unbelievable13

ESPN:
Van Persie, 29, is expected to play in Arsenal's final pre-season friendly against Cologne in Germany on Sunday, before joining up with the Netherlands squad for a midweek friendly against Belgium.

It would be the Dutchman's first match action of any description since his country's group-stage exit from Euro 2012 in June, and Netherlands coach Louis van Gaal has expressed concerns about his fitness.

Van Gaal said: "Robin will play his first game this Sunday. He has told me he is at least going to play 45 minutes this weekend. It is a good job, because I almost had not selected him."

Well he only played 20 minutes whilst everyone else in the squad played more. Is that AW having a paddy?

Reason ferguson wasn't at game last night was due to him negotiating a deal for lewandowski... Believe it or not but it's fact!

Believable26 Unbelievable13

Yet another baseless prediction. I, for one, won't believe any more signings will arive until announced by the club.

Agree1 Disagree0

Lewandowski is playing for dortmund right now losing 2 nil

Agree0 Disagree0

I was thinking this myself. There have been several transfer rumours about players based in Germany - Lewandowski being just one of them. I was also thinking that maybe a long shot could be Huntelaar at Schalke. Fergie has always been a long term admirer of Huntelaar and he WAS top scorer in the Bundesliga last season.

If Fergie's absence last night was to sort out the RVP deal, then great. But I'llbe equally as pleased if its for Lewandowski or Huntelaar.

Agree0 Disagree0

Or you read a post on here earlier today.

You must be Martian. There is no way you are from THIS planet!

Agree0 Disagree0

Go on then how do you know.

Agree0 Disagree0

Take him everytime over van persie no major injuries only 23/24

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if Lewandowski signed. I think he would be prolific at United and would suit our style perfectly.

Sydney!

Source?

Agree0 Disagree0

How can you say this ?
Source ?

Sydney!

How is it a fact? I would much prefer lewandowski to RVP.

Agree0 Disagree0

I really, really wanna!

Tommy

Agree0 Disagree0

Would prefer lewandowski over RVP TBH
craigy

Agree0 Disagree0

Im not 100% but isnt it david gills job to do the negotiating and not SAF's? (or is that just me?) i believe it is more likely something to do with the new sponsorship deal or to do with the stock exchange

I said Not in for Baines, RVP wouldn't come and Moura too. It would appear I've got all three spot on! United will try and sign one player they have to, who that player is I don't know. Who I want it to be Modric.

United Till I Die 1987

Believable10 Unbelievable20

Great guesswork there mate. But there is plenty of time to see Baines or RVP sign.

Sydney!

Agree2 Disagree0

Where does it say we aren't getting van persie. The betting is all odds on that he will be a united player. I think he's gone and with mancinis comments we are his only other destination

Agree0 Disagree0

Window is open for 3 weeks bro. So chances are u might get 1 of two wrong....

Agree1 Disagree0

Well if you're so in the know and you're right about everything then why dont you tell us who we will buy?

Agree1 Disagree0

16 Jul 2012 18:35:20
We won't get Moura. I think our business will be done once we get Baines. I still don't think we're in for Baines but everyone else on this site seems to think so?
United Till I Die 1987

01 Aug 2012 23:22:05
I'm sorry to say we've upped our bid for RVP. We are now in the driving seat for his signature.

RVP has come on second half and given the captain armband.

Believable11 Unbelievable6

Well he is the club captain.

Sydney!

Agree2 Disagree0

It's arsenal and wenger pushing his value up, saying he's here to stay. They did similar things with cesc. They obviously would prefer to sell then release him.

Agree0 Disagree0

That means nothing mate. Robin Van Persie is the Arsenal Captain and Wenger is not stupid to show the world he has given up on RVP. All the same he could be off on monday!!

Agree0 Disagree0

He only got 20 mins and hardly looked interested to be honest I watched the game on espn

Jamie t

Agree0 Disagree0

Nasri played 1st game last year for Arsenal!...still plenty of time to get RVP

Steve the red

Agree0 Disagree0

Until there is an official announcement everything is just speculation. These big transfers are a huge game so can't trust anything but find it hard to believe that Van Persie would have taken the armband if a deal was already in place for him to leave. I suspect he may stay put now.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah van Persie came on for the last twenty mins but hardly touched ball and looked like was doin his best not to get caught or injured and mess his move up and that arsenal were trying to get their team used to life without him just how it looked to me wot do you guys think. Mattyboi.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Aug 2012 15:22:11
Just hearing van Persie staying at arsenal. Will be made public this evening.

Believable19 Unbelievable15

Yeh we all did from the chap 3 posts down :P

Agree0 Disagree0

Did u "just"hear it fro about 4 posts below ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Would that be such a great surprise ? Ironically the Van Persie rumours were at their greatest peak on and around flotation time, in I believe, an attempt to try and further stimulate interest in United. The next 24 hours will allow us to see once and for all what is happening and the fact he is playing for Arsenal tonight puts the ball back in their court.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just checked and van Persie is on the bench.

Agree0 Disagree0

Van Persie is on the bech

Agree0 Disagree0

Calm down fellas RVP has already said he would b playing 45 mins , the Dutch national coach said RVP told him this and that he wouldn't have called him up for the Dutch friendlys had he not
Played because the last time he played was the euros
Warrington red

Agree0 Disagree0

Van Persie is still on the bench vs Koln - one of only 2 unused subs at half time, otherwise only Podolski has been on the pitch the whole game so far. If he was staying why would he not play? The guy needs game time for Arsenal!

Agree0 Disagree0

It wouldnt surprise me its always the same utd in 4 this lad ain that lad but never get any example moura snjeder nasri modric just to name a few the list goes on

Agree0 Disagree0

Well its the morning after?? oh wait, your full of it!

Oh my days how depressing is the community shield ? Man City have looked sensational since the start of the second half there so good going forward but remain solid at the back hopefully that will be the case with us but i cant see us matching them this year

Believable20 Unbelievable6

Go watch your team play then instead of posting in a United forum! Sooo transparent..

Agree1 Disagree0

Toure man of the match, says it all really. We need to buy a midfielder like him, I'm sorry but Carrick, ando, clevs are no match for him. Hope we get someone, city looking strong!
Benji

Agree1 Disagree2

Oh don't be ridiculous. If there wasn't a sending off it would be a completely different game

Fagan

Agree1 Disagree0

Has this turned in to the man c*ty page today or wat ? If you wana discuss who c**y are signing or how they are playing pi$$ off onto their page. We are MANCHESTER UNITED worry about us not wat others are doing !
Warrington red

Agree3 Disagree0

How old are you? 12......grow some balls you loser. So what if they are playing good. Have faith in your team or just start supporting City!

Agree2 Disagree0

Get a grip ....vidic is back no-one will attack us. Start of the season come on guys lets get behind the team.

We are united and WE WILL GET OUR TROPHY BACK!

Agree1 Disagree0

I think they will definately be better in one of games, but I think we might be their match over the whole season. We'll be stronger than last season, they will not be much stronger.

Thorne

Agree1 Disagree0

Stick to the citeh page. Was funny when the commentator said "another trophy to add to the collection" what collection?

RR

Agree1 Disagree0

They we're playing against 10 men for the whole of the second half - get a grip!

Agree1 Disagree0

They were playing against ten men to be fair

Agree1 Disagree0

Against 10 men, wow! Thought Chelsea were unlucky with the refereeing and City seemed to get away with quite abit.

Supasub

Agree0 Disagree0

Long season but city look v good :-(

Agree0 Disagree1

Shh you no nothing about football if you are saying that we couldnt compete with them last year because fergie was playing non-exsperianced players like cleverly im not saying cleverlys a bad player but they put out silva yaya we put out anderson-jones jesus christ were a world class team we should be playing world class players N.WHITESIDE

Agree0 Disagree0

As a chelsea fan i have to say their defence was poor, Savic in particular who should of been sent off and even Kompany had to resort to blocking runs which he should of been booked for. Torres direct running caused them a lot of problems and if we hadn't had a player sent off then this would of continued the whole game. Two of their goals were from amazing strikes and came around due to defensive errors not good play. Also wtf was Mikel doing all game, for there first goal i watched him walk into the box making no effort to actually mark a player when he got there and made no attempt to block the shot. Chelsea's play made city look good although at times the link up lay was great.

Rowan

Agree0 Disagree0

Solid at that back? Did you even watch the game?

City were all over the place at times. Savic is not good enough for this level and should really be loaned out (let's hope he is not though).

City got rodwell gutted really think hes a quality player just what united need an hes english.nt sure where he will fit in at city, appaz 28 millon witch is abit high anyway think united should sigh witsel nt seen much but what i have seen this guy is awesome , don think united need any 1 else after that cant wait till next monday. Believable6 Unbelievable23

Jack rodwell, thank god he is gone to city,he is the most over rated player and at that price, what was mancini thinking.Happy days.

Agree2 Disagree0

LOL, it wont be anywhere near £28m, perhaps £15m plus a few add ons.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

Is our physio room empty or something ? Other wise he's got nothing that we need at all

Dustbin

Agree1 Disagree0

Honest can't believe he went to city I hope the wee lad hasn't just ruined his career for money, don't see how he will get into the team. The fee is absolutely stupid as well.
Good business Everton!
Rosie

Agree1 Disagree0

£15 million

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

The game has gone crazy and there's no value in the market

Agree0 Disagree0

Im very happy about that! Rodwell isnt great and adding average players to our squad isnt a good idea. Im chuffed to bits.

Agree1 Disagree0

Great news, this means we cant have him. he maybe good but definitely overrated. can get better mids than him for lesser.

Agree0 Disagree0

We've always been interested but at no more than £10millionish.

Supasub

Agree0 Disagree0

Our interest in Rodwell ended the second Phil Jones signed on the dotted line.
Jones is better in every conceivable way.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 million seems like crazy money to me.

It is all still very much unfulfilled potential. If anything , the lad has only shown that it will contimnue to be exactly that and with the limited playing time avaialable at city, he can look forward to a few seasons being loaned out here, there and everywhere.

MDJ

Agree0 Disagree0

Gutted if rodwell goes to city he will be class if he stays match fit he is a young yaya end of we need a powerfull mid saying that im sure we will strenghthen the teams with the sugar daddys cant buy everyone or can they ?

Agree0 Disagree0

At the post above
"a young yaya"
How far from the truth can you get?
No wonder the poster didn't leave a name, that's comedy
Hallis

Agree0 Disagree0

Delighted to hear this!
The guy is sooooo over rated and i for one would have been gutted if he arrived at OT. Fingers crossed RVP doesnt arrive and instead we get Martinez & Llorente (wishful thinking, but thats what we need!)

£12m rising to £15m, hardly £28m.

Can someone please comment why we are not looking at Muniain. I know everyone was very excited about the Moura news but personally I was very happy it did not go through. I would rather pay 25 Mill Euros Muniain.

In my humble opinion he is the next 50/60 Mill Euro guy in a few years. Is it that we are not interested or that he is not for sale? {Ed004's Note - He is for sale. Bilbao have touted him around Europe. In an ideal world I would sell Young and buy Muniain with the funds raised}

Believable0 Unbelievable10

I do not believe any of these rumours that we have agreed a £22m deal, £23m deal or £25m deal as we are not going to pay that sort of cash for him. We certainly wouldn't offer that much this early.

It seems the club have RVP onside and with him refusing to go to any other club bar United, Arsenal have two options. They can sell him to us at a lower fee than they want or they can keep him for one more year and lose him on a free. This also carries a risk of it damaging team morale and would they get the best out of an unhappy player? If RVP is on board and is fully committed to just joining United then my bet is this will drag on a little longer with United playing hardball over the price. I think we will end up paying between £15m-£20m for him, I have been saying this since January.

That amount is nothing to be sniffed at as it covers Kroenke and the shareholders dividends, so even if AW doesn't like it, the board will likely accept it in the end. Personally I think £15m-£18m is a fair price giving the circumstances. Lets wait and see lads. Obviously a lot depends on whether he is on board with United, by Mancini's comments and Juventus' it seems we are fully in the driving seat. PSG have filled their quota so no room at the inn there. If he is fully committed to United then he will highly likely be a United player by September.

Sydney!

Believable19 Unbelievable15

If we agreed a fee there is no way in the world we'd agree to let him play against cologne this afternoon, more twitter rubbish made up by people trying to be bigtime

Dustbin

Agree1 Disagree1

Syd
im sure you have been saying he will go to city for the money since january
jred

Agree1 Disagree1

Syd we might be paying under 20m to arsenal but then his agent fees may take the price up to over 20m. 4m i think i read somewhere was what his agent wanted.

Dan

Agree0 Disagree0

Syd,
From what I understand do not be surprised to see the price reach in the excess of £20 million. I think the Lucas deal hit home hard and I believe Fergie sees 'winning' this transfer battle as not just a great signing but also a statement.
This is not an unusual transfer in terms of its situation either. Reminds me alot of the Sheringham deal.
I believe the deal is done, I read a post the other day that I though seemed most likely, however I believe wages will not reach £220k, more likely to be £180-190j a week.
Kagawa was my signing wish for this summer back in March and he is going to set the league alight, I think RVP will be a great signing I just hope it doesn't signal the end of our interest in a CM as I believe the fee for RVP will go to £20 million.

The much hated: PJ

Agree2 Disagree0

Rvp please no

Agree0 Disagree1

No way we will go over £20m. Either Arsenal will lower their valuation or lose him for nothing next year. The only place where £20m plus offers are being touted seems to be twitter, you'd think people would have more sense.

Danny Pughnited

Agree2 Disagree0

£15m max,anymore and Fergies lost his marbles.Dont get me wrong,good player but with injuries,one great season,ridiculous wages,age etc a higher fee is too big of a gamble with money it seems Utd dont have.Plus we dont need a striker,in any half difficult game Sir Alex likes to play one striker and a defensive midfield five and if Rooney gets injured although not ideal there is enough cover to make do.Other areas need money spent on before a striker but the manager does seem to have a bit of a striker fetish.Ideally striker,midfielder,winger and left back but cant see that happening {Ed004's Note - We struggle when we don't have Rooney in the team. Signing RVP means the burden of carrying on of the top sides in the world every match will be lifted off Rooney}

Agree2 Disagree0

Jred, I did believe he would end up at City for the cash, but I said he would go for between £15m-£20m, the the £35m people were saying in January. I also said that if he didn't sign for Arsenal that WE would be in the running for him. And we are.

Sydney!

Agree1 Disagree0

Jred, we had a good convo regarding RVP on January 23rd 2012.

Danny, I couldn't agree more and I wouldn't be surprised if we are playing hardball at around £12m. But only if RVP himself is committed to joining us.

Sydney!

Agree1 Disagree0

If we can agree a deal for RVP I imagine he will have a similar contract to that of Berbatov. Perhaps a 3/4 year deal with option for 4/5. It's quite a clever contract really and one that Berbatov and his agent didn't expect to be triggered.

Sydney!

Agree1 Disagree0

Syd
read the convo on jan 23 but come on pal ive just looked through the archives and you said a fair few times he would go to city for cash , your not really trying to pull the "i was right all along " card are you
jred

Agree0 Disagree0

I believed he would end up at City, but I maintained we would be interested if he became available and that we would try to sign him, you among others suggested we couldn't compete with other clubs and disagreed with me. (no surprise there) I said he wouldn't sign a new Arsenal deal, he hasn't as yet. When most said he would stay at Arsenal and all he was doing is haggling for a new deal. I said it will be down to his personal preference and he could choose United, but IMO thought he would end up at City. When plums were saying he would go for £35m+, I said he would go for between £15m-£20m. Got slated for that too. I am not saying I have got everything correct with RVP, but I have been pretty close.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

Syd
Who do u think we are competing with for his signature
Jred

Stade Rennes has confirmed they have received a concrete offer from an English club for M'Vila. Man Utd,Arsenal and Liverpool have all show an interest. Arsenal seemed to have a deal done before the Euro's but pulled the plug on any deal for the player.

Personally hope it is us as I think he is a fantastic ball winner (which we are missing) but also very good on the ball aswell. Only problem seems to be his attitude and this makes me think Fergie wouldn't go for him.

The asking price is £16million, could use some of the Lucas Moura money on a player we realistically need more than a Lucas Moura type player.

RedKnight {Ed002's Note - It was Spurs.}

Believable5 Unbelievable6

Ed... If it's spurs what are your views on this, do you think he will move there?

RedKnight {Ed002's Note - My views? It is a simple factual statement, I don't think about it too much. As for moving there, the offer that has been made is too low to be acceptable to Rennes. The player himself would ideally like to move to Arsenal. We will see.}

We dont need him. Ando, Carrick are good in a holding cm role. We need someone to replace Scholes. Cleverley doesn't have the ability.

Dan {Ed004's Note - I disagree. Cleverley has been awesome for team GB and last night he was the best player on the pitch. I feel he could take over the Scholes role. His play reminds me of Modric}

Agree2 Disagree1

Cleverley has really grown as a player. This will be a bigseason for him.
Anderson is awful quite frankly. M'Vila would be a great signing. Can't see him going to Spurs due to no CL.
Arsenal seem to be favourites if Song leaves.
