Ed002, with reports of United looking for 3 major signings in the summer.
What are the odds those 3 are:

Jadon Sancho (£100m)
Jack Grealish (£60m)
Timo Werner (£50m Release Clause)

Other options would be Moussa Dembele and James Maddison.

Obviously this is before any outgoings which is looking like Pogba then a Cm is needed as well.

Any news regarding those 3 major signings?

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of the club stating that they will be making three "major transfers" this summer and I certainly cannot give you odds on all of these players signing I am afraid. As for the news about these three players, I would not expect Jadon Sancho to join Manchester United although they are keen - he will move in the summer but I would not hold your breath it will be to Manchester. Jack Grealish remains viable for Manchester United as he can play on the left and in a more attacking role - Aston Villa will need to let him go if relegated and have an FFP issue that could manifest itself as early as this coming summer - MU may well look to exploit that as he offers something different to Bruno Fernandes and other options are off the table. UNless there has been a change of heart, Manchester United's interest in Timo Werner has gone - release clauses are not relevant.}

Hopefully the club have a fallback option for the RW position.

another season of fudging with mata, james, pereira and lingard would be another season wasted.

Re Timo Werner I have seen lots of reports that if he is going to come to England it will be to Liverpool who have made contact. No idea how true this is but this is a rumour site.

{Ed002's Note - There is no agreement for him to join any side.}

Werner will surely go to Bayern? Him Havertz and Sane look like their main targets.

Lewandowski still doesn't look like slowing down. So Werner moving to Bayern wouldn't make him a automatic starter possibly.

Also, if we go in for Grealish, I believe he may operate more advanced in a 3 man midfield alongside Bruno and McTominay.

Finally, if Sancho and Ziyech are striked off our list, I'm not sure who will be the ideal target for the RW role.

Where does Jude Bellingham play exactly?

Welsh, at St Andrews every other week😂

On a serious note he is still very young and his final position might change. He has played as a holding midfielder, box to box, attacking midfielder and on the wings. He might have even played a game or two just off the striker. I think long term he'll be a No.8, all action midfielder who pushes forward and scores and assists goals.

Similar to Bruno Fernandes, could eventually be his successor given that he is 10 years his junior. But Jude needs to be playing to progress. With Garner in our squad I'm not convinced that we need a player like Bellingham.

There are good updates from Ed002 regarding Sancho on European page and why it will be difficult to sign him (notably utd) .

1 week and no new rumours post on the rumours page. I hear a rumour which is more a report that United have put in for safe standing at OT can you can confirm this rumour Ed's?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - it was done in December. It is a trial in the north-east corner for up to 1,500 rail seats.}

What do you make of it Ed001?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - it is not to my liking, but the rail seats are the best solution to persistent standing. Problem is people look at it through eyes tinged with nostalgia and forget how crap standing actually is for the majority. If you are short you can't see anything, which makes it crap for kids. If you are a woman, you have to put up with pervie men rubbing up against you and touching you, as you can't see which knobber done it. It is difficult to get in or out, etc. All they really need to do is allow people to move around to sit with friends etc to improve the atmosphere that people moan about. However that is not going to fix the poor atmosphere and neither is standing because times have changed and people are not the same as they were. The atmosphere will never be like it was.

Like I said though, the rail seats is a decent halfway house to put in places where people insist on standing.}

Cheers for the in depth reply Ed. Interesting take on it. I mainly go to games at FC United and Chester and am used to standing so when I go to OT and sit I find it almost like sit back and entertain me or not as fan involved but that's just what I am used too. Can understand it not being bear for other fans who are used to and like sitting to watch but nice United have gone half way on it.

{Ed001's Note - I am used to standing as well, but it excludes over 50% of the population.}
