Sydney! {ed's note - Carrick's form is, I believe, more of the reason behind Defour not being bought. There is no need to replace him now he is playing well again.}

@So would you say United would be complete with just De Gea & Sanchez bought? With Pogba & Morrison coming in, Carrick playing well and Valencia & Rooney back fit and playing well? Would these two signings make us a more complete squad?

Sydney! {ed's note - Coady is a fantastic central midfielder, though he has been played a lot at centre back lately, but he is nowhere near Liverpool's brightest prospect. There is one lad who stands out a mile, he looks a class apart and it is Suso, he should already be in the first team and he has just turned 16. He is the best prospect since Gerrard. From what I have seen of Keane he looked like a central midfielder to me, an attack minded one, like Scholes of old.}

@Ed i will look forward to watching the games between United and Liverpool in the reserves and U18s, i have LiverpoolTV free with my TV package so i will have to watch it on there, but turn over during halftime so i do not throw-up watching the Liverpool greats chatting away LOL!

Ed did you know Keane is a twin? His twin plays for ROI and hes a defender. Ed it may not be a bad idea to remind people when certain reserve & U18 games between United and Liverpool are on, Possibly advertise it? I for one would appreciate it, i do forget about them games sometimes as i no longer have MUTV.

Sydney! {ed's note - I could do that mate, they are always worth a watch, nothing better than being able to judge your players against the toughest opposition.}

Sydney! {ed's note - I can't disagree mate, you have some excellent youth players coming through, Keane was fantastic for England during the Euros, one of the real stand out players. Him and Conor Coady together was like watching a Scholes/Gerrard partnership for the future.}

@I have heard a lot about Coady, how do you rate him Ed? Is he Liverpool's brightest prospect in your opinion? I know Keane plays as a striker but i would not be surprised to see him in a Carrick position one day? The old Carrick who gets forward i mean, not the defensive Carrick who has been filling Hargo's position.

Ed, how much truth is in this Kakuta to Man U business? I heard he wasnt extending his contract, which gives UTD the oppotunity to talk to him in Jan i think. . .? You heard much? {ed's note - only that his agent has allegedly been sounding out possible destinations for the lad to go to, United being one of them. But I think it is more likely to be a negotiating tactic to get a higher wage for him right now.}

{ed's note - Ayala never wanted to leave, you sure you aren't thinking of Agger?}

Na Ayala wanted to go just after San Jose left, i heard it on the radio, not a great source i know but i remember it being Ayala because the first thing that popped into my head was the Argentinian Ayala.

Maybe it was a moment of madness and he decided to stay? I don't know but i definitely heard he wanted to leave listening to the radio, that day was an unforgettable day for me, i remember that day well!

Who have you heard that wants to leave? {ed's note - pretty much half the first team and reserves are unhappy, Roy's methods and apparent bias towards English players is not going down well so far. It is not just the foreign players that are not coping well, the senior English players are not impressed either, despite comments made publicly today.}

{ed's note - I did say a while back on the Liverpool site that a bunch of first team players, and some reserves, were unhappy and that there would be a bunch going if Hodgson stayed. But I was also told that NESV had already begun a search for a new manager, they just haven't found one yet, for some reason they decided against Pellegrini.}

Perhaps Pellegrini was an option to try and keep the Spanish guys happy? Maybe they have said they will be leaving regardless of what manager is brought in, so they have opted for someone else, someone who can speak a word of English perhaps?

Frank Rikjaard will be brought in, but i still expect Torres to be sold, if they do not cash in on him in the summer they will not get any money for him and there's no way he will sign a new contract therefore he will be sold.

Ed if he signed a new contract the only team that could ever afford him because of these new regulations would be City. And he will not want to go there so he will not sign a new deal so a number of teams could come in for him. What do you think? {ed's note - the players only want out because of Hodgson and his training methods, it is not just the Spaniards, it is a lot more than that. Just read Mavinga's comments about not having a hope of getting a chance because he is not English and then ask yourself why Pacheco has not even made the bench in weeks.}

Yes ed he looks like a great prospect :D btw ed i have a person who is tight with a rangers board member and apparently fergie is looking to sign mcgregor and surprisingly sean davis what do you make of this? {ed's note - I had heard the Mcgregor story before, I am not really surprised, if he is a cheap option, not so sure he is worth paying huge sums for though, too many personal difficulties with him. Sean Davies? Sure you don't mean the one that started at Villa then went to Fulham before Rangers? The Northern Irish lad? Steven Davis that is if so. Not so sure he is good enough for United, I would be surprised if he bought him.}

Its possible Rangers are trying their best to get as much money as possible for some of their players by linking them to United, its not the first time. If it was true then McGregor would be no more than a replacement for Kuzczak although i believe the story to be rubbish.

Neuer could cost as little as 8m, Lindegaard at 26 would cost half that amount, we have no need to buy McGregor, the only evidence they have is Sir Alex's son has been to watch a couple Rangers games in the past few months.
