He wouldn't be cheap if he got the salary he wants. He will also want a minimum of a five year contract, therefore could end up costing £50m and being left with a 33 year old. Not sure he could handle the speed of the PL anyhow.

I agree with you Sydney about whether he could adjust to the speed of the Prem Lge, however 28-33 aint that old for a holding midfielder. I remember Keano & Robbo being pretty effective at that age and Makelele was pretty good at Chelsea in 30s.
All the above started to wain at 34/35.
Quality player mind and would free up Anderson & Cleverly.

Giggs isn't a bad shout but i think he's got one eye on coaching/ management more than anything if he was to go into a job with the club. Also not so sure Giggsy enjoys the limelight as much as Becks, imagine all the hobknobbing and posh events with the likes of Uefa and Fifa, Becks and Posh would be loving that. In fact she's the on'y fly in the ointment.
