Hi Ed's cheers for all of your hard work in what must be silly season for you guys.

I wonder if you have any information on the Bruno Gomes transfer? I understand that there was potentially some kind of deal in place to sign him when he turns 18 but there may now be a complication with the deal?

Also we have been linked in the last 6 months to a number of very good young players (Vandillo, Domenico Berardi, Cirigliano, Viktor Fisher and Bruma) do you know if we have taken it further than just interest for any of the aforementioned players I.e we have made enquiries to their clubs?

Thanks again.

Rewzy {Ed044's Note - All from elsewhere, but I am told: Gomes perhaps next summer. Cirigliano has already moved to Verona on a loan-to-buy deal. Viktor Fischer is subject to interest from Milan, Manchester United, Manchester City, Roma and Werder Bremen. Ajax is negotiating a new contract with him and I would not expect a move in the summer. Domenico Berardi and Bruma - no.}

kondogbia linked in papers today he defo no cesc but would love to see him think we been missing some one that puts his foot in and works box to box big and strong and only 20, what do people think to him?

Believable36 Unbelievable15

Would be a good addition but probably not enough on his own. Kondogbia AND Modric, now that would give us all the options we need in CM, along with Carrick plus backups of Cleverly, Anderson, Jones.

Nice to see someone post something worth talking about, I agree with both of u we deff need someone to get stuck in and work box to box but we still.need to player that can create, can I just say tho.moyes must learnt from fergie looking at bringing a player in and funny u play the team.he is at in pre season, seen that before from fergie! any thoughts on rooney and replacment? if is.to go?

Agree0 Disagree0

If Rooney is off then I would like to see us put a bid in for Luis Muriel. I hope Rooney stays though! It will be extremely hard to replace him and I think that would become very apparent if he were to leave.

Agree0 Disagree0

Was in papers about a week ago that we could make a move for muriel I would love to see him come i.think he got everything to be a top player and has a shot on him, as for missing rooney yes we would but would it be as bad as missing rvp, and if a player wants to move on we seen it happen time after time and the club has come back stronger for it a player that wants to play is always better than one with a eye on a move,

Well, didn't we see that coming. Journals are saying we are ready to hijack Gustavo from Arsenal. Any truth to that Eds?

I doubt it, would be a really good signing. We seem to have missed on some very good deals over the past few seasons.

Didn't see it coming because it isn't going to happen. We are not in for him.

Fellaini and Modric better options

Agree2 Disagree3

He's exactly what's needed to tighten up at the back and release Carrick to make play.

For £17 mill he's a bargain IMO

We are in talks with two midfielders one is fellaini, and another is a marquee signing, unknown at this point in time.Another bid is expected to be launched for Bains.

Bales move to Real Madrid has completely broken down, with Madrid launching a bid for Suarez. Remember the Ronaldo deal this summer hinges on Bale moving. On hearing this Manchester United have offered Hernandez and a big sum of cash for Bale. They are now waiting for a response.

I wish this were to be true

Agree1 Disagree2

United have been in discussions with bale since Feb. The difference is we didn't go public with this one. Main transfer target and fergies last present to united fans. Watch this space.

Agree1 Disagree5

I have a feeling that Fellaini IS the marquee signing.

But if Bale is on the cards, I really hope the deal doesn't involve Hernandez, I really would hate to see him leave. Personally, I think he is the best partner for RVP. Their qualities seems to complement each other better than RVP and Welbeck IMO.

Agree2 Disagree1

I would rather give up Welbeck than Hernandez. Chicha is a through and through poacher and has the tendency to produce goals. What exactly does Welbeck do?

Agree3 Disagree0

A £60 million bid was made in June for Bale.

Remember who told you first that Nike and Ronaldo's representatives were in Manchester.

the third reply is complete rubbish and is a lie, bale and spurs have had no contact and nor will they! i'm told that their are doubts that he even wanted to go to spain this season? as he & his partner have just had a new born and his partner was very keen to remain in london! I feel we are getting embarrassing with our obsession on bale! it won't happen, its not going to happen, so please boys change your sheets!

Agree2 Disagree1

Not Chica no.

Agree1 Disagree0

It's Modric and Hernandez is going nowhere.

Agree1 Disagree1

Fellaini and Modric is marquee signing.

Agree1 Disagree0

Welbeck works hard.

Agree0 Disagree0

Welbeck works terrifically. I just wish he had Chico's finishing. Or Chico had a better touch. Together they make one class player. Pity
