Sky Sports Italia have confirmed David Gill is in Milan, however they have also said that Inter DO NOT have any appointments with him & it seems odd that an Important club like Manchester United, who are after an Important player like Sneijder, who plays for an Important club like Inter, would just turn up without an anything being scheduled between the clubs. They believe United are in for ANOTHER player in Italy.

The fact they are in Milan would suggest it could be AC Milan, Juventus or Udinese that they have the appointment with. They also said this does Not rule out a move for Sneijder in the coming days, as they believe a bid is inevitable, but they think Fergie is making a move on another player under the radar first. INTERESTING.

Again This is all on Sky Sports Italia & I'm just letting you guys know what's being said over there.

This makes sense to me. Man Utd are very interested in Marek Hamsik, rumours were he was tried to sign last Jan but cos of Napoli pusking for CL place an agreement wasn't reached. Maybe we have gone back in for him, I hope so

Where gill may be has no relevance to who he may be speaking with. We have an office in London do we not? Our seats are always filled

And Udine & Turin have International airports do they? That's like saying Fabregas isn't going to Barcelona cos there isn't an airport at the Emirates for the Barca reps to go to. Being Italian, I land in Milan to travel an hour and a half to Parma by car 3 times a year, so don't distrust what i'm saying & get all sarcastic. I'm not one of these plebs saying rumours for nothing, I'm just letting fellow United fans know what's being said in Italy on TELEVISION.

Udine certainly doesn't have an international airport. Turin does but it isn't anywhere near the size of Milan's. In both cases, as a business traveller from the UK, you'd almost certainly fly into Milan instead and then fly / rail on.

I stand corrected DarkLard08, however Udine & Turin Airports are nowhere near the size of either Linate Or Malpensa in Milan & most flights from either London or Manchester will go to one of the Milan Airports. Though Glad to see you understand the situation, unlike the 1st sarcastic reply on my post. all I was doing was repeating Sky Italia & they were guessing themselves as it seems very hush hush. Truth is it seems the meeting was in Zurich anyway. Time will tell.

If they were going for Hamsik they would've landed nearer further south, Naples or Rome perhaps. Napoli have today said they want 100m for him, which i think might be even out of our reach. MAD DOG.

Gill being in Italy or furthermore Milan doesn't necessarily mean sniejder is the focus of his attention. Think about this Inter have stated they don't wish to sell, WS isn't pushing the issue, he is 27, expensive both in fee and salary. maybe Hamsik at 23 for similar fee is the actual target plus we have also been watching Napoli games supposedly for Cavani. Fergie likes to go under the radar to get his targets keep other club out of the way.

Wait and see but I think this rumour could have some legs

My parents flew to Milan for a holiday this morning and were on the same flight as David gill and Morris Watkins (Club Solicitor). It's unlikey both would go out there without a good reason

Got some news on Sneijder as you already know Gill has been in Milan last night don't know if they have agreed fee but some reports are saying Sneijder is in Manchester not at Inter camp also there is photo going round saying CIAO SNEIJDER on Inter training pitch caught bye flight camera going try upload it to sightings page take a look. {Ed007's Note - I have no control over the pics, so keep checking for it, even I will need to}

Once United complete move for Sneijder there will be no more signings. United will promote from the youth team and Pogba expected to be given chances next season.

Sneijder will not be signing, inter say they will only listen to a mega galactic offer. Unfortunatley we don't do 'Mega Galactic offers'. They can keep him Personally I think this should be a year of rebuilding, forget the big marquee signing why not bring Pogba and Morrison through and along with Cleverly they can start to fight for the right to play in the first team. Im sick of all this transfer crap - One minute I hear we have bid £20m for Nasri (Wenger comes out and says there have been no bids) then I hear we have bid £35m for Sneijder (Inter come out and say there have been not bids). Ferguson is clearly interested in these players 'WHY DOES HE NOT BID'

Yeah people were saying it was kiko (who has just moved to barca) who said this which made me well confused.

he said "time for sleep before training, hope to see wesley snejeder here soon.. (funny how he spelt the name so wrong) but yeah, he obviously saw him play when he was in italy last season.

How many times has twitter let us down. Plenty of times. Even then, a player's comments who is from the club doesn't guarantee anything.

That quote could just mean he wants him to come, doesn't mean he knows anything at all.

How can people click 'unbelievable' button? It's a fact, the comment was there so it can't be unbelievable, stupid people

I was watching Macheda out on the field training at gillette stadium (boston)when this happened, so i dont think it was him.
