I doubt United will get Hazard, but anyone who says they don't want him quite clearly haven't watched the lad. He's pure class, his work ethic needs a bit of work, but otherwise he's quality. He's not just a winger, he's a playmaker, a very good one.

On the left back issue, Baines, if not, I would stick with Fabio and Fryers, neither are worse than Evra at the moment.

Maybe someone else would know about pogbas current contract and when its up but is it possible fergie has started including him and starting using him in games that are put to bed to drive his price up in the summer , just a thought

He will never do that, if he was to leave he would have made him play only for the reserves.

I m sure in a day or two the picture will be clear, and these rumours are put to bed.

Drive up what price? If he doesn't sign for us.. he's a free agent this summer.

Hes out of contract in the summer so has no price to drive up,we would get a training fee only decided by a tribunal.

So far there just seem to be loads of regurgetated reports about Pogba - some say he has signed some say he hasnt, some say he will sign, some say he has already signed for Juve! they cant all be right ; )

If Skysports was true it would surely have been confirmed today by club or player

Im convinced he is considering the 2 options right now and will come out with a decision in the coming days or weeks

I hope he makes the wise decision and makes it quick!

Just wondering about the hazard rumours doing the rounds.....do we really want another winger in our squad with the likes of Young, Valencia, Nani in our squad? Just a thought...

He can also play upfront or through the middle in a CAM sorta role

Hazard can play centrally and Nani maybe the one to make way. I like Oezil, but hazard is pretty similar in regards to what positions they play.

Hazard will not replace any of our wingers, Berbatov and perhaps Park will leave to make way for him. That way we have Rooney, Hernandez and Welbeck as strikers. Hazard would play behind Rooney in many games, in others he'd play on the wings. We would have four good wingers if he was to come in.

I m sure SAF was there to watch possible defender signings.. not hazard. big money move and surely wont happen. it could be one of lyon RB ( hard Name) or aly sissokho . as SAF has lost his passions in rafael. and due to age evra need to be replaced as he is far from his level now.

Don't get people not wanting this lad. He's going be a world class player not to mention he is going improve our squad. At the end of the day Fergie isn't stupid and knows best what he needs.

If we got him, i can see him playing up front with Rooney while Valencia operates the right wing with Young/Nani on the left. With Hazard occasionally slotting into the midfield whether it be on the wing or centrally to make room for Chicharito/Welbeck.

He'd be perfect if we switched to a 4-2-3-1 formation permenantly rather than the traditional 4-4-2 shape (or adaptation of)

He could play on the left, middle or right of the 3 behind the striker

He's not just a player thats great on the wing,he's an attacking midfielder with imense skill. for me he he is exactly the kind of player we need to bring in, young enough to become a united legend and play for us for a decade. get him + javi n hopefully ross barkley n i think a young Rb/Lb n we're set for the future. this lad is seriously good!!

Of course, I hope he was there to cast an eye over Hazard but it wouldnt be the worst thing in the world to bring in someone who is used to playing behind him.

It worries me to think then what is Fabio doing here if we're looking at young LBs, or what about Fryers for that matter? I'm sure he'd find it harder to sign a new contract knowing that it'll be even tougher to get into the starting XI. I honestly don't think we'll buy a LB. Maybe some sort of utility defender who could cover anywhere along the back for example Benatia.

Personally, I think he would not have hired the agent he has if he thought staying was the best option. But United still have every chance of persuading him otherwise.}

We had Jones at RB, Giggs & Park on the bench and Carrick and Scholes on the pitch, we were not short of available midfielders. He also was picked ahead of Park & Giggs to come on as a sub. SAF would not have picked him if he didn't believe there was a chance he could sign.

It makes a lot of sense due to the talk of just a four year contract and not a five year contract. I guess SAF has told him he owes the club a few years. It's still three good years and we would be able to get a massive fee for him in a few years.

I really don;t understand all of this conjecture. I think it is simple; Fergie played him, so he will be signing a contract. I struggle to believe he would be allowed anywhere near the first team if that weren't the case.

I can only hope that I am right.

MDJ - for me it was more of a desperate last shot at the dice of convincing Pogba to stay. I know desperation is not SAF's style but Pogba would be a huge loss at a nominal fee and he is well aware of that

SAF clearly thinks there is a chance Pogba will stay otherwise he wouldnt have put him on, but I dont think it is all sorted yet

I really hope he does sign for us and hope it gets sorted out one way or another v soon

Heard from a 1st teamer today that he has not agreed any deal yet and that it's the agents fee that the club don't want to pay. Also said that we are taking a full squad minus phil jones(asthma problem?apparently)over to Spain and saf is 'going for it'. you'll know I'm telling the truth when you see the squad.

Has Pogba Travelled? I know he played in the reserves recently but with SAF looking to convince him he will be given chances has he been included in the travelling squad?

I would just like to know are we going to sign anyone this summer? its hard to tell whats genuine with all the rumours going around! does syd or the eds or anyone else have any firm beliefs or knowledge of any genuine interest in any certain players? thanks.

Did pogba feature?

Pogba played the full 90 mins

He Did.

He started and played the full 90 minutes alongside Tunnicliffe and Pettrucci in the middle.

They tended to rotate who went forward (Tunni or Pogba) with Petrucci playing a bit more advanced behind Will keane.

Pogba featured, and stuck out as one of our best players. Every game now he plays shows that he belongs in our first team!
