Ed's what's the latest on Kevin Strootman?
Cheers
Raone {Ed002's Note - His performances have attracted further interest from Manchester United, Arsenal, Valencia, AC Milan, Schalke 04 and Hamburg. However, for now I expect him to move to Manchester United or Milan in the summer.}

This is a case of MOTD fever i'm affraid as I've seen little of Shalke player Draxler before last night but he looks some player!

Anyone know much about him and is he a player Utd will be keeping an eye on.

Parks {Ed002's Note - Both Milan clubs, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea have enquired at one level or another abour Draxler - each has met a "not for sale" barrier.}

Hey everyone, to ed002/Sydney if ye are free just a couple of questions. all this talk of lewandowski possibly arriving, is it going to be at the expense of Hernandez who has been linked with atletico Madrid?i can see a cb, cm and a versatile attacker arriving this summer possibly garay/zouma + strootman/Wanyama + Rodriguez. nani, Bebe, macheda and maybe a couple more with scholes retiring will leave I think. am I very wrong in saying all this?have we any interest in will hughes of derby?fantastic player for the future. And only 17. thanks guys {Ed002's Note - Hernandez has attracted teh attention of AM but they have other targets as well. Broadly there has been interest in all of these players but I have explained about the price issue for Rodriguez and teh situation with Wanyama. I don't know about Hughes.}

For me if we sign lewandowski it will be at the expense of Hernandez

Agree0 Disagree0

I still think Rooney, unless Fergie planning on moving him into midfield. Hope not!

Why would Lewandowski want to move to Man United to become a 3/4th striking option

Agree0 Disagree0

Lewandoski isn't as good as rvp or Rooney, so unless Rooney leaves he would be 3rd choice, and I can't see him leaving an excellent team like Dortmund, where he's first choice, to sit on our bench. And as I've said before, I don't believe at all that Rooney will leave.

No name
Would you say Rooney and lewandowski play in the same position imo Rooney plays deeper I think both could be fitted into a starting 11.
But for me Hernandez and lewandowski would be competing for the same position and judging by the amount of game time Hernandez has this season I would imagine his place in the squad would be under threat if we signed lew

Agree0 Disagree0

Lew - I think Hernandez will be favoured in games to give Lewandowski a rest or to come on as an impact sub as we use him now. Not a case of being in same position.

We tried to use Rooney a lot deeper at the start of this season and he just needs too much time on the ball, his first touch is often quite heavy a lot of the time. I am neither for or against Rooney leaving but if we were to get mega money from PSG then I think that is what United would do to free up funds elsewhere. Especially if the view is that we are working to bring Ronaldo back. Not saying we are but anything can happen
