Berbatov, Owen and Diouf all to leave...Cristiano Ronaldo will be brought back to play through the middle. This was always agreed since he left the club, there is a buy back fee which is lower than what we sold him for. He wants to come, he falls out with many RM players in the dressing room, no trophies and he misses everyone in England. Fergie has always knew that his prodigal son will return - he put it in his contract, thats why he stays in touch with him regualrly to keep that relationship. Cristiano will be on a slightly improved contract than what he was on when he was here - he loves the club and lets all hope that he comes back.

The only ways I could see real Madrid giving us Ronaldo back is if we pay a ridiculous sum or give them Hernandez with some cash. Both which seem implausible.

Can we move on please?
Probably the best individual I've seen in a red shirt but both parties have moved on.
And don't forget the 2 year flirting with Madrid he did, comments he made while a United player.
Top drawer player spoiled brat of a man.

Any real interest in Milos Krasic as his agent said we have been monitoring him?

DOUBT IT

He chose Juve ahead of us initially,so he can stay there as far as I'm concerned! He used to be highlighted alot, but hardly heard anything about him since he has been in Italy
Agree0

He's a winger. We don't need him. Just his agent talking as he is out of the side and we previously had an interest.

Interesting
"Andrei Arshavin will have to miss two matches of Euro-2008 finals after he was suspended for being sent off during Russia’s final fixture of the qualifying campaign.
Russian captain Andrei Arshavin saw red card for violent conduct against his opponent during Russia’s away clash in Andorra.
The UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body decided the offence merits two-match ban that means Arshavin will have to miss two matches of Euro-2008 finals against Spain and Greece"
There again Rooney is English

He kicked a guy without going for the ball, 3 games is fair sorry, that's what he would get in the Prem too
at least he will be fresher for Utd; theres no point playing him much in next years friendlies now, so thats good news for us
Agree0

Would messi get a 3 match ban is he did this?
Agree0

I personnaly think that England players do get punished more than others (Platini cough) but at the end of the day Rooney done the crime so should serve his ban.... HERBIE

Messi wud never kick a player like shrek did. Actually messi seems a nice guy, unlike shrek who is an a**hole.

At what point is it allowed to challenge some of this nonsense in court? Different countries get different treatment. This is too much especially when it comes to British Teams. I may not be British, but I think they thoroughly get rough treatment both at FIFA and UEFA levels. I can't really understand where it all comes from, may be their press which is hated so much.

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is seriously weighing up a move for Fiorentina midfielder Riccardo Montolivo.
Having shelved his pursuit of Inter Milan playmaker Wesley Sneijder, Ferguson remains concerned over his midfield's cutting edge and had Montolivo scouted in action for Italy against Northern Ireland this week.

Just spotted this on BBC, Manchester United have confirmed there has been no new contract for Hernadez and 1 isn't imminent.

No he's right, I've just seen it too.
Very worrying. Massive gap in communication it seems and what worries me is the 'one isn't imminent' part.....the kid is earning comparative peanuts. Forget how down-to-earth he is, if Madrid come a-calling with a £100k a week plus offer, its gonna be hard to tie him down.

Don't worry it is happening, don't let the Liverpool site, oops I mean the BBC site tell you any different. Gill Said in July that Hernandez will be offered a new deal in Autumn. So the word 'Imminent' is inaccurate straight away.

BBC do report have stated that Hernandez has not signed a five year contract and has not been offered a new contract. Its on BBC Sportsday Live - breaking news at 10.45am. Its a shame as only yesterday the Sun reported that Real Madrid were going to make United a 30m offer hoping the player would like to follow Ronaldo and put on a white shirt. I hope United do offer him a new contract especially when someone like Gibson (though a rep of United for much longer) is on a bigger wage scale. Little Pea must have repaid his £14m purchase fee by now!
Agree0
Disagree0
What are you lot talking about? There is no hold up or problems, you are clearly a Pool fan on a wind up. As for the last post, Hernandez cost £6m. Where the hell did you get £14m from?
Sydney!
Agree0
Disagree0
How do you know Sydney? People are only stating that the reports from yesterday that Hernandez had signed a new contract are false. Whilst he may sign a new contract in the future, "no new deal is imminent". You can't say there are no hold ups or problems when you are only basing your facts on website / paper reports. For all we know not a single discussion regarding a new contract may have taken place yet.

A very small message sent into the Sportsday live mini printer at 10:45am, with no name or quotes attached to the comment. And have they mentioned it again since? Has it made the main BBC news? Has it made any other news outlet? Have United denied this publicly? If so then why hasn't Sky received this info? Of course discussions have taken place, Hernandez' agent isn't delusional.
