Any chance of Vidic or Kagawa playing tomorrow?

Believable4 Unbelievable10

Vidic will probably feature at some point but doubt he will start. And kagawa isn't due back in full training until next week so no chance of him playing yet.

What are chances of Signing Neymar This January or Summer ?

SkyfalL {Ed002's Note - Won't happen.}

hello guys.
Manchester United target Robert Lewandowski 'open' to January move

I m a Hunter

Believable22 Unbelievable6

You surely are a hunter sir

Agree1 Disagree0

I doubt Robert Lewandowski will come to OT. We are very strong up front, but have need of midfielders, a left back and maybe a center back. For me Wanyama or Strootman, or even both should be top of the list. We have needed a strong physical presence in midfield since Keano left. Next a creative midfielder in the Gotze/Eriksen mould, to relace Scholes. Then a left back to share/replace Pat Evra. Pat has been better over the last few games then he has been for 18 months, but we need to plan for the future. My dream buys this winter and next summer would be Wanyama for 17m, Gotze for 30m and Baines for 13m.
Mik

Agree0 Disagree0

He is open to a January move but Dortmund aren't. They will almost definitely let him go in the summer though.

Dan

Agree0 Disagree0

Would love to sign Lewandowski but we would need to make room and that means seeking chicarit (still and upgrade) I think he'd play great with rvp. Would suck for Dortmond though as they have looked great on the CL.

Man Utd are keen to sign Yuto Nagatomo

' fussball.ch informs that Man Utd have launched a £17 million bid in an effort to land Inter defender Yuto Nagatomo.

Inter have reportedly rejected previous Man Utd £14 million bid and the Red Devils seemed to drop their interest in the 26 year-old Japan international. However after Chelsea have joined the chase for the player Man Utd decided to outbid their opponents.

Meanwhile Inter are not prepared to let their star leave for anything less than £20 million. '

ANY thing u know ed002?

#RESPECT(INDIA) {Ed002's Note - For a few weeks Yuto Nagatomo has reportedly been linked with Manchester United and Chelsea but there is no confirmation at this time.}

Believable3 Unbelievable23

I hope so! He's quality, watch him when Japan play! He reminds me of Evra when he was actually good haha

Good Evening,

I'm ordinarily a poster on the Liverpool site but its a little volatile these days. I decided to have a look around the other forums just out of interest. I watch quite a lot of italian football due to my job and know a member of Japanese press who is very close to a number of the national squad. Nagatomo is an excellent player and would make a good signing, might take some time to adapt though as he is not very physical. Like many Japanese players he has great respect for the english league and would be open to moving here. He has had a sometimes turbulent time with management in Milan.

is isco of malaga still being considered a transfer target? surely he'd fit into the squad well? {Ed002's Note - Barcelona, Manchester City, Juventus and Spurs have shown an interest in Isco and he came close to a move to Dortmund, who may still follow up the matter. Chelsea had someone watch Isco in a recent game against Granada I suspect AC Milan might look to the player as well. There were rumours of interest from Real Madrid and Arsenal. Malaga want 21M euros but will likely accept 15M euros if they are forced to sell - and they don't want to. I would suspect Juventus and Manchester City are best placed right now. A move in January is by no means certain as Malaga are looking to have Isco sign a new contract.}

Sydney! I noticed you said could a swap deal for Rodriguez be in a possibility. A very good shout and me and my mates have all talked about it.

Two of the three players you mentioned are highly unlikely to join FC Porto though.

Fabio and Rafael seem to dislike the fact being a few hundred miles away from each other, but at least they can visit one another, Fabio moving to Portugal or any other country in fact seems to not be on the cards for him. Although I think he will be our starting LB next season if Evra goes.

Anderson has proved himself as a player and will be on the road to fitness now, he needs to live up to his price tag this season, if he fails he may be a possibility in a player + cash deal.

But Nani is extremely unlikely because he is a Sporting Lisbon fan I believe, there is big rivalry between Sporting and Porto apparently, the only way I can see him going to Porto is a very high wage to convince him, but who knows?

Also Ed002 which clubs are interested in Nani? I know Zenit and Juventus were but Zenit have Hulk now. Would appreciate it.

-JakeW {Ed002's Note - Roma are interested and I suspect that Zenit could still show an interest in Nani at the right price.}

Believable7 Unbelievable3

Ed002, would Roma have £20m or so kicking around or would you say that price could be an issue for them?

Sydney! {Ed002's Note - Putting aside the arbitary amount, the money is not an issue.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Roma have plenty of talent to sell if they need to fund the deal, Serie A would be an ideal league for Nani, he would shine there.

-JakeW

Agree0 Disagree0

That's okay then, the club need to offload Nani early on in the window if we stand any chance of bringing someone in. We have had a big outlay of funds this financial year so we will need to balance the books so to speak. There is nothing worse than not agreeing a price for a sale and it dragging out. It's dragged on long enough now. Hopefully Roma and Zenit can have a little bidding war and we get as close as we can to that £20m mark.

Sydney!

Fabio is not yet united starting XI standard. evra will stay or we will find a replacement, Baines anyone? Buttner aswell?

ive heard that Fergie has scouts watching pierre emerick aubameyang of st. ettiene {Ed002's Note - After a year at St Etienne Aubameyang has attracted the attention of Manchester City, Manchester United, Zenit St Pete, Newcastle, Aston Villa, Spurs and PSG, probably amongst others. He has said in the past the one day his dream would be to return to play with a great Milan side. I don't see him leaving the Geoffroy-Guichard in January.}

If James Rodriguez is the 'Next Cristiano Ronaldo' why no other English club or other big European clubs bid for him?
I have not seen any rumours like 'City will outbid united for Rodriguez' or 'Chelsea joins United for Rodriguez signing' or 'Barcelona monitoring Rodriguez situation' etc.

Is he really talented or over hyped?

Ravi {Ed002's Note - Three clubs spoke to Porto about James Rodrigues over the summer and two bids were rejected. Neither matched Porto's then valuation of the player (30M euro). The bidding clubs were Manchester United and Palermo whilst Bayern Munich looking looking carefully at Rodrigues as an alternative to Dries Mertens who they are keen to move for next summer. There may well have been enquiries from other clubs including Juventus and Napoli. It may be tough to find someone to pay the sort of fee Porto would now be looking for after negotiating a much higher release fee (45M euro) for the player.}

Believable6 Unbelievable0

I remember seeing Chelsea having an interest.

Fresh!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed002, what if we chuck in Bebe as a sweetener ;)

On a serious note do you think Nani, Anderson or Fabio could be used in a deal for Rodriguez? I would say Nani's salary expectations would make that move difficult, but what about Anderson who they sold to us and rated very highly?

Sydney! {Ed002's Note - I have no idea Syd. I would doubt Porto would be interested.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Syd, I don't think that Anderson or Fabio will be allowed to leave. Despite being injured again Anderson has proved himself to some point. Fabio is versatile and I think he could become as good as Rafael. As for Nani, he isn't going to be here much longer.

Fresh!

Agree0 Disagree0

Probably the reason no other big clubs from the prem are after Rodriguez is because they already have the personel he is a very good player and would probably be instead of Young who is similar in terms of what he offers but i do think Rodriguez is a better player and would probably fit right in and move us up another level but he will cost alot so yes sign him up he is talented but 30m is about right for a young player of his calibre Hazard and Lucas went for around that. Katef

Agree0 Disagree0

Fresh, I do not see a future for Anderson at Manchester United. He has shown promise like this for the past five and a half seasons, but he still gets injured and has to start again from scratch. I think Anderson will be sold in the summer if a suitable offer comes in.

Sydney!

Agree2 Disagree1

For 30m euros which is around the 24m pounds mark, based the hype he has and the form he currently is in that price is justified however 45m euros is way too steep a price.

Agree0 Disagree0

The other option is that we could just wait for another year and promote Januzaj saving ourselves 30m....
People dont realise just how good Januzaj is, all that's holding him back is his strength.
What is the point in recruiting all these 15 and 16 year olds from abroad if you never even give them a sniff of action in the first team.

Dan

Agree1 Disagree1

What a strange world it is. We have Valencia, who is powerful, super quick, but somewhat predictable and painfully one footed. We have Young, who has had 3 or 4 top games for us, but is extremely ordinary for 5 games out of 6. Then we have Nani, he has more assists for united, in the premier league era than anyone except Giggsy and Rooney, he is usually good for 10 goals a season too! Who do many of our fans want out ......Nani. He is inconsistant, but not as inconsistant as Young. We are low on the creative side and yet one of our truely creative players is unpopular with many fans. he is inconsistant, but so are most creative players, especially wingers.Rodriguez is very inconsistant, brilliant on his day, invisible on other days. Just like Bale, Gaitan, Wallcot and nearly all wingers, except for Messi and CR7. We should keep Nani, sell Young,Cleverley, Macheda to raise enough money to buy Wanyama and Baines. We should cover the areas where we are weakest - midfield especially

DAVID GILL and SAF to travel to America next week for a five day Break '; to talk Transfers to the Glazers in New York '; is Understood the Glazers will give the Green Light to bid for James Rodríguez in January from Nani sale '; Sources Understands United will bid over 33 million for J.Rodrìguez

Would be a dream buy, he will become amazing if he plays along side RVP and Rooney. He is also built for the BPL.

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't think we'll sign him in January, very much hope we do though. I would say that if we play Porto in the CL then we will definitley sign him - but I'd say its very likely we will see him here by summer.

Fresh!

No point in signing him before the summer ......... Sure he could help in the bpl but we need someone who isn't cup tied an available strootman or sneijder for me all day long ......

sign him in January if possible. The league is a higher priority than europe.

Agree1 Disagree0

Can never understand why people say that its pointless, he could help us win the League - even if he can't help us in the CL.

Fresh!

Agree2 Disagree0

Yeah why not if we can in Jan the league is the bread and butter, honestly we probably wont win the CL with or without him anyway. Is that 33m euros or pounds not that bad for euros but if its pounds that is too much.

Agree1 Disagree0

I think there is next to no chance of buying anyone for 30m+ in January, it's not the SAF's way. We may buy a 15-20m midfielder in the Wanyama/Strootman mould,because we need a powerful presence in midfield. It may be bread and butter stuff, but the EPL is always the No 1 aim each season. The ECL is the cherry on the cake. If we do go after Rodriguez, it will be in the summer and for under 30m pounds.Then again, we are being linked to every half decent winger going, Sterling - Rodriguez, Walcott, Gaitan, Ince etc, etc. An awful lot of paper talk I feel.There is every chance that we won't buy anyone in January, though i would love Wanyama to come. He is a total 100% United fan too,we really need some midfield muscle.
