Apparently ferguson at the awards tonight said: Manchester United were interested, no question about that, but it seems like the league isn't the only thing MCFC have won.

Did anyone else see/hear him say this? It was a quote on twitter. Seems to me like hes talking about hazard!

Also hazard said hes 90% sure on where hes going, but its the little details that could change things!

My guess is hes going city unless SAF talkes some sense into him

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi everyone, first sorry for my english im french. i watch tonight award in france. When eden was ask about the yesterday game. The question was do the end please you? Eden answer yes and no, the question seem to anoy im. I felt from the beginning i would sign for city but after some of his reaction tonight i believe he is RED.

Agree0 Disagree0

When player said they want to go manchester they always mean united. as wise they will say manchester city.

Thanks for that Frenchperson, lets wait and see, i hope it is red and not blue.

Can't see him coming to united.this guy is ment to be a top player and I'd say he wants the top wages.i think he's a bit of a spoofer!

Let's just say he is coming to us (which I don't really believe) - SAF would surely be blowing his top at Hazard's constant comments to the press!

Hazard has come out and said he will be playing In Manchester Next season but wont say which club!
I personally think it was United who have signed the starlet, Fergie usually gets his deals done before the transfer window opens and If he has completed the signing, It will be one over on City!
I just hope its us he has signed for.

Lille ace Eden Hazard has confirmed that he will be playing in Manchester next season, but refused to reveal whether it will be at City or United.

Hazard's future has been the subject of intense speculation for some time with a host of clubs across Europe chasing his signature.

The Belgian international revealed over the weekend he would be quitting Lille at the end of the season after six years at the club.

City and United have both been strongly linked with Hazard having watched him on several occasions this season with reports suggesting City are in pole position to land the playmaker.

The 21-year-old has now confirmed he will be moving to the Premier League and will be plying his trade in Manchester next season after being named Ligue 1's Player of the year for the second consecutive season.

"To Manchester, I've already said," Hazard replied when asked about his likely destination at the end of the current season when speaking at the awards gala.

"The decision will be taken soon."

I say let the spoilt child go, if he doesn't leave now he will only jump ship after we have made him a world class player. He has no commitment so we shouldn't waste our time.

The French starlet has been trying to choose between a new United contract and a move to Juventus for some time but last night his agent, Mino Raiola, revealed he is set to leave.
‘As things stand now it is more likely that he goes away from Manchester,’ Raiola said.
It seems Ferguson has done everything he could to keep the 19-year-old.
‘I can only say that, from my point of view, Sir Alex Ferguson is top of the world,’ Raiola said. ‘If Pogba leaves Manchester it is not because of Ferguson. If Ferguson had not been there, he (Pogba) would have left already.
‘Even in our discussions, hearing from him has been amazing and fascinating. He captures like no other manager the essence of football. My opinion is not far away from how Paul thinks of him.’

I tell you something that finish yesterday didn't half get Fergie out of some very interesting press. Instead of it being about where he messed it up at Wigan Everton and City it all became about the last couple of minutes of one game. And now he announces that Giggs and Scholes are staying on. Is that the talk of someone who is going to re build a midfield with world class players or are we doomed to once again have a midfield that you can run straight through. Ronaldo went we got £80 million but we have never signed a midfielder since then. I AM KLOOT

Believable12 Unbelievable4

Valencia?
Young?

If Ronaldo was a midfielder, so are these two.

Bob

Agree0 Disagree0

KLOOT, I get what you're saying at mate but give him a chance to atleast buy someone first.

come back in september and if we've signed no-one then lose your rag, but don't start making predictions and taking them as gospel.

Red Man

Agree0 Disagree0

He can bring in new blood but we need the experienced boys around the dressing room. They have another year in them, thhis doesn't mean we won't sign new players.

Agree0 Disagree0

Winger is also count as a midfielder (valencia)

Agree0 Disagree0

Bob

I don't think he was saying Ronaldo was a midfielder, just that we got £80 million and midfield has been our weakest area, leaving it untouched with all that cash is just weird.

Percy

Agree0 Disagree0

We will all have to wait till the end of August i guess..
(My name stands for 'Bring back Ronaldo')

BBR

Agree0 Disagree0

Giggs & Scholes can still do a job in certain games but as we all agree we need strengthening in midfield... a ball winner & a creative player. I would rather keep scholes and see the likes of Park go.
Bullseye50

Agree0 Disagree0

Fair comment Percy.
I did wonder what he was getting at.

But i do think getting another winger in would have been priority after losing Ronaldo. Like for like, kind of.

Fergie is obviously quite happy with his midfield, which is a bit weird.

Bob

Agree0 Disagree0

This is an indication of the state of our finances. To have to rely AGAIN on 2 players so far past their prime is just unbelieveable. Everything IAK and Red Man and others have been saying about the way this club is run is true. Giggs is so bad lately he is a hindrance on the pitch - he actually benefits the other team he is so bad. I can't believe he is staying for another year.
Unless SAf pulls a rabbit from the hat this summer I think we are going to be in serious trouble next season.

Im not gonna say Evra had a great season but I think he is being given way too much flak. I would like see competition brought in for him if the funds are there.

but its right back that requires more immediate attention. Rafael is not consistent enough. We cant keep waiting for him to improve while the team suffers maybe a loan spell with his bro might be an idea.

Nathaniel Clyne will hopefully be a good signing and may end up being the answer in a few years but can't be expected to come straight in and start.

Their is talk Debuchy from Lille but have not seen him. Anyone have an opinion on him?

The man I would go for is Van Der Wiel. apparently not happy at Valencia and would cost around 10 m.

Believable13 Unbelievable3

So rafael isn't consistent enough so buy clyne to wait to see if he is? Why not buy a proven right back and not buy clyne

Agree0 Disagree0

Unhappy at Valencia you say? Maybe that's why he plays for Ajax.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry what I meant was he is not happy with deal he was supposed to have agreed with Valencia in Jan. I think he would be perfect fit and solid option.

On Clyne he is gonna come at minimal cost so why miss out on a potential talent. That it why Suggest Van Der Wiel or Debuchy to come straight in 1st choice.

Ideally we would keep Rafa as back up but will just stunt his development because I do believe he can improve to become top class. Maybe season with Wigan/ Swansea be good let his game develop. We would have Smallling and Jones who can also cover rb.

Sorry I forgot to sign initial post
Redrebel

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi Ed,
May be we can buy Arbeloa from Madrid, although Jose' will spend of a CB this summer, so Ramos gets his RB position back and Arbeloa will be on the sidelines.

Just seen David Gill interviewed on MUTV at the start of the player of the year awards and he stated they will compete
not only with transfer fees but salaries which was great to hear so perhaps we will get some of our first choice targets
and put a smile on our faces hope so
ARB

Believable16 Unbelievable8

He's probably just saying that, i mean to an extent it coud be true but unline City we have a decent wage structure in place to ensure every player is respected/happy due to their status at the club. I don't think this season we'd knock that on the head and start dishing out hefty wage salaries to new, young, unproven players!

Ozwald

Agree0 Disagree0

We don't have the money to do that. For example, if we say we'll have Hazard for £35 million and we speak with Hazard and we offer him £150,000 a week... Man City will offer £40 million for him and offer him £200,000 a week wages. We cannot win when it comes to transfers these days!

Agree0 Disagree0

David Gill from the official MU website...

“Without doubt [there is money to spend]. We recognise we spent quite a bit of money last summer when we bought Phil Jones, David De Gea and Ashley Young and we understand that. I think we’ll be looking in the next few months and there could be some interesting developments.

Agree0 Disagree0

David Gill in 2010 We are looking at players all the time, the money from Ronaldo is sitting there in the bank account, we have been clear on that," Gill told a Soccerex conference in Manchester on Wednesday.

Ever since then Gill has been saying we have money and our business model supports whatever

Gill tonight , We’ve had a great season, got 89 points and the title has never been decided on goal difference before. All the players and staff can be very proud of what they’ve achieved.

Does that sound like someone about to go on a spending spree? Especially given his previous comments ever since 2009

Red Man

Agree0 Disagree0

City can't buy every player and we are looking at more players than hazard.

Some of you guys should just go and support city, they spend big all the time, plenty of Marquee players.
As for myself, I support United because I bloody well love them and always will.
Didn't see many of you running down SAF when he won many more things in 20 years, then the 80 odd years before that. You guys sound like city brats. Money, money marquee players money.
You talk in millions but few of you earn a grand a week. United is a thing of the heart -Old Trafford The theater of dreams- you should be F*****g ashamed of yourselves
Mik

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes I should just keep quiet and accept us drifting back to what I watched in the seventies and eighties, how remiss of me to want to watch quality football for the £900 a season that I pay. I must go and sit and clap and not expect anything because SAF is untouchable and the Glazers only have the good of the team at heart

If you cannot see what is happening and what needs to happen this summer I wonder where our great club will end up

Red Man

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said 'Mik' im fed up of the negativity on here aswell, lets see give him a chance and see what fergie does first, before we start coming to conclusions.

Why dont SAF just acquire the 4 players from Borussía Dortmund and our team will be strong again and we will not match City like this year but this time we will destroy them.......,players like Hummels.....,Kagawa.....,Gotze......,Lewandowski and then add a left back Baines...,right back Clyne.....,Defensive Midfielder Martinez and the cheap youngsters like Kovacic and Powell to cover the others.... and then let go like Owen,Berba,Park,Scholes,Giggs,Anderson,Macheda,Fabio(loan)....Edd any chance we might steal 3 or 4 players from Dortmund or its Twitter? {Ed007's Note - If you read it on Twatter then ask them if it's true. We are not spending this window answering questions about nonsense that is on there.}

Believable4 Unbelievable18

Sorry mate but you just named 8 or 9 players we should buy, not gonna happen in a million years. We need 2 or 3 quality players at most, dont forget we will Vidic back & he will sort out the defence,in my opinion Rafael & Smalling should fight for right back, we have plenty of centre halves, & wingers. Its CM we need to improve Scholes,Giggs & Carrick have no longer got the legs to boss the midfield.Anderson & Cleverley are injury prone & Pogba & Morrison our bright young hopes will both be gone shortly, as i said we need 2 maybe 3 dynamic young midfielders to run the game & possibly a striker as Macheda,Berba,Owen look like will all leave. MIDDLETON RED

Agree0 Disagree0

What is the obsession with most United fans wanting to raid Dortmund for All there decent players?! IMO Goetze and Hummels or Subotic are the only players worth chasing.. I haven't seen much Lewandowski
And to me he doesn't seem all that but maybe I'm wrong, and most fans say Kagawas a dead cert but it wouldn't bother me if we didn't get him as there soo many other great midfielders out ther and Goetze is way better then Kagaway JUST on potential.

Mabzinho

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Dortmund would have something to say about that, they are the German champions and trying to improve their team the same as us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you jokin l hes signed giggs and scholes on for another year

Agree0 Disagree0

Spot on Madzinho i dont see what the odsession is with Hummels, Kagawa & Lewandowski I dont personally think any of them are good enough to play for Manchester United. If were going to sign anyone from BD it has to be Gotze he is far and away there best player.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes but Mabzinho,

The great thing about Kagawa is he is possibly available and at under £10m (due to contract expiry date) whilst Gotze has just signed a new deal and would likely require a £30m+ bid to prize him away

Gotze may be better but is he that much better? We have a limited budget and we also need a FB, DM, ST imo

Gav

Agree0 Disagree0

But Gav,

I'm not saying i wouldn't welcome the signing of Kagawa, i just wouldn't be that upset if we did not get him.

And Goetze IMO IS that much better than Kagawa, but everyone has different views. (the only upside to getting Kagawa is potential shirt sales, which would tell me Park will be off)

Goetze is still a young player growing and his potential is phenomenal. He is IMO on the same class as: Scholes, Iniesta and Xavi etc..

But i very much doubt that we will sign Goetze lol, just a wish of mine!

Mabzinho

Agree0 Disagree0

Mabzinho

Agree0 Disagree0

Mabzinho

Goetze IMO cant be compared right now with the likes of Scholes, Xavi or Iniesta on potential alone...and we have seen many potentially better players becoming awful...so we cant say right now if he'll be anywhere close to these greats of the game. And getting him in this window would be almost next to impossible.

Devil for Life

Agree0 Disagree0

I won't disagree with you on that one.
Potential can die down, but if his football sticks to the tracks I have no doubt tht he will be up there.. At this present time he obviously cannot be compared to these greats of football, but I can see him up there if or when his potential comes in!

All title winning teams are built on a solid defence. We never had this all season and with Vidic not guaranteed to fully recover in time for the new season, if at all, then this is a major worry. Evans has done well but Rio's age is catching up with him We need a top quality central defender.

In midfield we need a leader . A warrior who wont shirk a tackle and who will drive the team on. Not easy to find but I think without such a player we can play all the lovely flowing football we like but we wont win, especially in Europe. Creatively too we don't have a player with the verve and imagination to open up the best defences. Again this is a must if we are to compete against the best. In attack we are too heavily reliant upon Rooney. If he is injured/off form for a long time we have no one to carry on. Additionally City won yesterday because they had two top quality strikers in balotelli and dzeko to freshen things up and take advantage of a tired opponent. In our pomp we had Ole, Teddy , Dwight and Andy.

So we have a lot of different areas to address.

The game of football has thousands of professional players.....the top teams are only going to want to buy two or three at most. So there is no reason why Utd cannot find top quality additions. We never heard of Vidic before he came. Ditto Ole The players are there We just have to find them first. And then it comes down to man management and luck. We have the best manager so trust in him. And hope we get luck on our side next season

PS

I would blood Zeki Fryers asap and use him to keep Evra on his toes. I think we are ok for right back

I just can't see why united would buy hummels? I know it's been in the papers which by no means means its true!! We already have Vidic, rio, Evans, jones and smallish at cb and expect jones and smelling to play more in that position next season!
IMO we don't need him!
Btw I'm all for the others!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ferdinand is getting pretty bad, it makes sense. I have a feeling Vidic wont stay around too long too. I can see the 2013/2014 season starting with us having a new captain and vice-captain. I think the older players will be phased out this year.

Just an opinion but Hummels would make sense. I can't see Jones finishing up as a centre back either to be honest.

Hummels has been rated one of the best CB in the world never mind in germany would be a quality buy depending on the price.

United611

Agree0 Disagree0

I also dont understand all the talk about defensive signings either even though there seems to be truth in the Clyne rumours. Didnt we strengthen with Smalling and Jones who can both play right back as well as centre back and we also have Evans as back up? And all the talk about replacing Evra or giving him competition with a young signing. They both are still a little naive defensively and both seem to be injured to often but the arent Rafael and Fabio just as good as what we seem to being linked with anyway? I dont get the loaning Fabio out thing? Either sell Evra and replace him or keep him AND Fabio, surely it is our midfield and also forward line if Berbatov and Owen both go that is need of reinforcing not our defence?

"Because we might as well scrap our youth team he's played in a poor team proved he's no better than that standard yet people linking him to us . Rafael and fabio get slated on here then can't wait to see a palace player take his place"

Our only recognised RB is Rafael and he's hardly consitent, he also needs competition. Clyne is available for a nominal fee and had played lots of 1st team football at a young age...no brainer? You say we may as well scrap our youth team but we're not going to produce a player in every position from every batch are we. Which RB from our graduates would you choose instead of Clyne for next season's squad? Bearing mind Clyne would be ready to deputise if need be, having plenty of experience at a decent, competetive level

After his performance against us in the Prem, United could do a lot worse than putting in a sizeable offer for Fellaini from Everton, which they wouldn't refuse.

Nowhere near good enough! i really dont see the facination with this bloke, abit of a handful in the box thats it!

If ur after half decent prem players, sigurdsson, dempsey, allen, rodwell, sandro etc then we will not win the league next year and will be humiliated in the champs league again.

I really dont want to see this...

Gpot7

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd have him over slap head Sneijder any day. He's rarely injured, strong in the air, can mix it with anyone ball-winning wise, picks a good pass, rarely gives the ball away, has attacking quality and is very strong in the air. Fellani or M'villa, alongside Kagawa (though I have a feeling he may stay at Dortmund) and Cissoko would do me. 45 millionish, all 24 or under.

Agree0 Disagree0

Some people on here make me laugh. Fellaini isn't good enough yet fatty Anderson is good enough to play for Man United, after five years at the club doing absolutely nothing in his footballing career some are still saying "if he can keep fit / injury free he's a quality player"
Well guess what he can't keep fit and injury free....the five seasons he's been here proves it.

Simmo

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi guys, Everton fan here who comes in peace. I was routing for your lot on Sunday, cant stand mercernary players of and clubs who buy the title like City and Chelsea. You guys could do a lot worse than Fellaini. He is a top quality player. Great ball winner and doesnt waste possesion. A hell of a lot better than Carrick, Anderson, Fletcher, Scholes and Giggs.
Cheeks {Ed004's Note - Scholes and Carrick? Are you being serious? Fletcher before illness was better and if Anderson wasn't injury prone and played out of position he would also be better}

Agree0 Disagree0

I am being serious Ed. Scholes and Giggs a few years back were obviously better but not anymore. Anderson and Carrick are in my opinion complete crap. Fletcher before his illness was probably on a par with Fellaini. I dont understand how you can rate Anderson and Carrick better than Fellaini mate
Cheeks {Ed004's Note - It isn't a coincidence that since Scholes has come back that he has won 12 out of the 14 games he has started in. He is twice the passer Fellaini and way better going forward. There is no point saying why I feel Carrick is better than Fellaini simply because fans either rate him highly or think he is rubbish. Usually those who say he is rubbish don't actually watch what he does but yet again there is no coincidence that Fergie has kept him in our midfield for so many years. I feel Anderson proved at the start of the year how good he was when him and Cleverley where dictating every midfield they came up against and I didn't even try to defend Giggs being better than Fellaini as he isn't anymore}

Agree0 Disagree0

We need to sign world class midfielders if we want to compete next season.

You know something we av lost the title by 1 minute and then d heads come on here sayin we r selling Rooney what a load of tosh this season we lost vidic Fletcher used 4 right backs. Overall we finished 2nd on goal diff well above Chelsea and arsenal spurs I can remember being at it in the 80s when the only player I recognized was robbo becoz of injuries this is now the time we find out who the real fans are it took city 1 bill to get to this stage so overall apart from Everton result and euro I think we did good if they had company out all season like us with vidic it would be diff but don't forget we support utd becoz we. Agree0 Disagree0

Diehard74 - could not have put it better myself. What is wrong with these United fans? How many of these posters have actually been to OT? Or how many have been to OT before lets say 2000? Not many I would say. I remember the days of Terry Gibson, Ralph Milne, Graham Hogg etc etc. We have had it all over the last 20 years but all of a sudden the blues have some success (and lets be honest here - we handed it to them on a plate), we are suddenly a spent force with a crap squad! We have quality players in this squad. Yes, we need to add here and there and some need to leave, and of course SAF made the odd mistake but come be real, what the hell do you want?? Rooney wont leave. If he does then he is a fool. He is THE biggest player here - something he wont be if he leaves us. We have lots of young players who will learn from this year. Jones, Smalling, Raphael, Welbeck, Hernandez, Cleverley, De Gea, Evans. These will all have a years experience to build on and if we can add a touch of class then I am looking forward to next season. So if all you glory hunters who want to sign 4, 5 ,6 7, 8 new players, then why dont you all do one and go support city or chelski or spurs or whoever and leave united to the real united fans.

Red Pedro

Agree0 Disagree0

Red Pedro

We have an ordinary squad that needs 3 real quality players and a good left back to compete with City and likely Chelsea or possibly even Arsenal next season

I recognise the major need for investment, deny it if you wish but any less than that and we will finish at least second next season

I go to every man utd home game and as many away games as possible and A Manchester guy therefore entitled to this opinion when has saf last bought a player at the top of his game apart from berba n veron ( whom didn't really fit into the premiership style of play was good in Europe. It's all very well blooded youth but we also need to add top quality players not average players like young . Cleverley plays a game and missed 6 . Eel beck missed too many chances what's the point of Owen . Berba face obviously doesn't fit. Hernandez is not a bad finisher but his overall play is appalling he can not control a ball and is always offside. Anderson has not developed into the player we thought he would. Rafeal is too rash and always jumps in always scared he will get sent off. Jones de gea smallish very very happy with Valencia top notch Rooney is Rooney Vera has been indifferent this season but along with coke is the best left back around. We need midrib proven premier league player. And also another top top striker

Bild: "The offer from Dortmund is not enough and I can confirm there is interest from Manchester United." - Lewandowski's agent

Could we be going for a triple swoop along with kagawa?

TRUMORS

Believable42 Unbelievable10

I am confident eden hazard will join man utd
He will take the prem by storm and will make united once again dominating in europe and prem
he will join Man Utd £25-30m i can see him join the youth of cleverley, de gea, smalling, jones, nani, hernandez, welbeck.
best manager, best club, best for youth to build-up i.e. ronaldo, he says in his interview he wants to join a english team with big history and that is united come on SAF sign him up the marquee signing his him spending 7m on kagawa leaves you a lot of money to spend
he is interested in united, who have space to get players in and also he is interested that SAF had watched him and SAF brother watched him, if interested need to bid if not interested then hazard has no choice, I do reckon a week or so we will get official news of SAF bidding for hazard
united are very interested and hazard is made united top summer 2012 transfer target
he will get a good pay not BAD, he will get many games
We are looking for young pace and skilful players and hazard suits that, SAF loves wingers another thing that can bring hazard to united
I don’t care if everyone say we need a holding midfielder more, I would have hazard anyday as he is the real deal, MORE realistic than Martinez or m’vila(arsenal bound)

city – no space, only advantage is money and captain kompany (Belgium) who can persuade, they have Nasri and silva who is similar to hazard, if they get him then their dominance will not end in the prem
do not trust/believe the rumours of hazard choosing blue city it is not true dailyFAIL.

End of the day decision is up to eden hazard if he wants to join united for success/history/trophies/respect/best manager and club after barca in the world
Or
city earn money/make bench warm, even if he starts I don’t 100% think silva and Nasri will stay off for long lol/don’t have no history compared to united, even if say we will make lol 19 titles it will have to take you lots of years to get that and the time it happens the age of hazard will be in his 30’s/40’s even then I think he will be sold when his mid 20’s for new stars. The advantage for city maybe the money and also maybe the quality side they have young star players that might be appealing to hazard. However that does not mean cleverley/Welbeck/hernandez/jones/smalling/de gea etc. are not world-class as I think they are 100% better they play as a team and not a greedy ego individual talent like city. And have better staff experienced of history success.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well I think the quotes answer the questions. His father/agent says what is being offered "isn't enough". Meaning he is using our club to get his son/client a bigger contract. I wouldn't hold your breath on Lewandowski lads. Kagawa could be doing the same thing, but I think he genuinely wants the United move. Lets wait and see.

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson chasing THREE Borussia Dortmund stars for the summer market.

The Daily Mail says Ferguson is favourite to land attacking midfielder Shinji Kagawa but is also lining up moves for Poland striker Robert Lewandowski, who scored a hat-trick in the German Cup final, and defender Mats Hummels.

Contract talks with Lewandowski have broken down and his agent Maik Barthel said: "The offer from Dortmund is not enough and I can confirm there is interest from Manchester United."

It is also understood Hummels's father Hermann, who acts as his agent, has been invited to Manchester for talks.

SORRY FOR COPY/PASTE

REDCORE!!

Believable9 Unbelievable9

I think Kagawa & Lewandowski are not completely out of the question. I think Hummels is unlikely as he is happy at the club. These two have a great partnership in attack and if they can be brought in together it would a great coup and pretty cheap too.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

Didn't Kagawa publicly say Lewandowski is too selfish? I don't really think we're sign them both.

Agree0 Disagree0

Has nobody noticed that the three goal scorers have been linked with utd oh the irony.. You can't make this stuff up ;)

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Kagawa's words about Lewandolski were lost in translation he didn't say he was selfish as such that was the media trying to stir sh!t. Was going to say the same as sydney but he/she/it beat me to it again! Lewandolski is a possibility with his agent coming out and saying what he did. Hummels on the other hand just recently said he doesn't think Kagawa will stay with them next year (which already shows what his plans are for the forthcoming season). However if these stories about his dad/agent being invited to OT are true then a transfer for the season after next is possible with Ferdinand coming to the end of his career and no one knowing how Vidic will recover after such a hideous injury at his age.

Ozwald

But i cant see hummels joining BVB rate him at close to £50million so maybe a double swoop but no hummels

Kagawa 7m

i would like to say how proud i am of the man utd players, and to congratulate man city,it was probably the most nerve wrecking final day in prem history, but we will be back stronger and more determined next season, reading the paper today and see we may be interested in a triple transfer involving hummels, lewindowski, & kagawa would be a great triple buy and hope it comes off as these players would be great additions to our squad especially after watching the way they all played against Munich, would like the EDs opinion on this transfer and if they feel it might happen.

I know it is not possible and we are likely only buying 2-3 players this window but here are my moves
RB-Clyne (Fabio doesn't cut it)
CB-Subotic
LB-Boilesen
DM-martinez/M'villa (possibly both as Martinez would be a Yaya Toure and M'villa as a xabi alsonso)
LM-Hazard
RM-Gaitian
CM-Eirkson/Gotze
Striker-Luke de Jong

That 9 players but all have been linked (from what i know) and are quality
then reserves would be
Varane, muinian, barkely, rafa alcantra, jon toral,

Believable5 Unbelievable22

Fabio doesn't cut it but clyne from a struggling team in the championship does?

Agree0 Disagree0

I guess your right just Fabio Lost a step this year and the 3 that i would take would be
Martinez Gaitan and Kawaga

I think this guy should support the blues from across town. They buy everyone considered "marquee" (hate that term). United will spend about one third of that and probably not buy one of this wish list

I like the thought of luuk de jong coming into our side. With berbatov likely leaving we could provide some more height that our attack force is deperately lacking.

Someone has been playing Football Manager again. NO chance for any of them signings. Are we forgetting the english Quota of players for Champions League???

Guys come on we need a big reality check with our midfield Scholes had to come out retirement Giggs is also 37 Carrick only seems to play well with Scholes was it 5 Assists this season, Sorry not good enough. HOpefully CLeverly will come good but we need too many adjustments and not enough ££££ to do it. But if anyone can Fergie Can.

DC Shawcross
DL Baines
MC Fellaini
MR Hoilett
FC Luke De Zong

Jaysus, This isn't a CM wet dream. Get a grip, man - we're not going on a splurge this summer. The Glazers won't allow it. We'll be buying in the basement bucket again. Last four outfield signings? From Villa, Blackburn, Fulham & Wigan. Not half of the German double winners.

Like I said at the begining we would ONLY sign 2-3 and they would be MARTINEZ, KAWAGA, and clyne then possibly Luke De Jong/Gaitan {Ed007's Note - That's four..............}

Note possibly they are not needed but would ease/help

Expect Manchester United to raid Borussia Dortmund for 3 of their stars. Kagawa, Lewandowski and Matt Hummels will be targeted by Sir Alex. Kagawa is almost a certainty with Lewandowski's agent Maik Barthel quoted as saying: 'The offer from Dortmund is not enough and I can confirm there is interest from Manchester United.' I expect at least 2 of the 3 to be at Old Trafford next season. Hummels will be the most difficult to pry from dortmund with their director pretty adamant about not letting anyone go except Kagwa. I expect their prices if we do get them to be in the following range:
Kagawa: 10 -12 mil
Lewandowski: 15-20 mil
Hummels: 15-20 mil
