Warren Joyce may be leaving to join Hull City, rumours that Scholes is to possibly take over as Reserve Coach. What do you think?

I am of the opinion it would be too soon. Ole didn't do too bad with the reserves though.

RedDevil92

I think the best thing to do is put Scholes in charge with Phelan and bring in a new number 2 for Sir Alex. It'd give new tactical awearness to the first team, give Scholes an experianced head along side him and keep Phelan in a job. Thats a win win win situation.

Shappy

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would Phelan want to do that?

Sanshine

Agree0 Disagree0

F**k it Scholes should be involved with the coaching more than the managing just now. He could easily be utilised for both reserve and first team coaching. Not restricted to one or the other.

Confirmed. Warren Joyce to stay at Uniteds reserves

Good to know that Neil Custis of 'The Sun' and Jonathon Northcroft of 'The Times' are not taken in by Pogba & Nani leaving rumours. Both believe the rumours regarding Pogba are nothing more than contract negotiating tactics. Both laughed at the stories regarding Nani saying every time SAF rests Nani by rotating the squad these rumours always seem to resurface "Strange that". The MUTV presenter Mark Sullivan said he has seen and spoken to Pogba at Carrington and he 'KNOWS' he is happy ay the club. The Vidic rumour from
'The Mail' never even got a mention. Funny that.

Sydney!

Believable24 Unbelievable4

Good to hear about Pogba, just hoping he gets a fair bit of playing time before the end of the season!

rpc

Agree0 Disagree0

Just because a media source says so, doesn't mean it's true. It could be plucked from thin air, it could be old news recycled, it could be a journalist putting two & two together and coming up with eleven. Unless the player, the player's representatives or either club have been quoted as saying the player is happy , then ignore it mate.
jred

Agree0 Disagree0

These are not fairytale rumours about players United may or may not be interested in signing jred. These are opinions of three men, two of which are top journalists who were/are not interested in putting the 'Pogba leaving' rumours into their columns for their respected newspapers as they are not convinced that the stories are true. The third chap sees Pogba almost on a daily basis at Carrington. He knows the players personally and speaks to Pogba regularly.

People can make what they want of this, but it's certainly worth posting.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets be honest the media always enjoy stirring up interest in players and trying to unsettle them to sell their papers.

They do it to every team at the top. How long has drogba been reportedly looking to move away as that story always surfaces every now and again.

Lets face it if Fergie wants rid of a player he's gone and thats simple as that!

Agree0 Disagree0

Syd
are you trying to imply that the post's that commented on nani and vidic leaving were not the worth posting the same post's that got 49 & 106 replies
the thing is i dont think anybody really believes what they read in the papers even if it is from award winning never print a lie journalists like neil curtis.
but they do enjoy talking about the stories which is prob why they come on sites like this.
jred

'jred'

True mate, and I do not necessarily believe anything that Neil Custis & Jonathon Northcroft write in the Sun & Times respectively, but I must give them slight credit for not jumping on the Pogba & Nani leaving bandwagon as they could have done. They believe it's contract negotiating tactics and I believe they are too. It will not be long until we are reading that Pogba has signed a new five year deal at the club.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

Syd.. mate.. pogba and morrison wil be the power house midfield partnership along with cleverly.. i appriciate ur post.. i was bit worried abt pogba moving away.. he is a gem
rodio17 {Ed004's Note - I would like to sign Rodwell as well, I think he could be a very good player.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree syd and to be honest i would be amazed if nani pogba or vidic were to leave
but stranger things have happened , i dropped the paper when i read stam was going
jred

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, you really think Rodwell would be good enough for united? I don't know, he looked like he had buckets of potential a while ago! Then was out injured for a while, came back and never really looked the same player. But more recently he's starting to look better, i still don't think i'd want him. Really do want to see more of Ross Barkley though, can't believe how young he is!

Ozwald {Ed007's Note - I am not convinced by Rodwell, he seems to have hit a ceiling that he can't break through to the next level.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe Rodwell is just being sucked dry by the rubbish and dour Moyes

Pardoe

Agree0 Disagree0

Yess that seems to be it, just stopped progressing at steady rate! I think it was due to the injury but a lot of time these things can change a players mentality. Look at all these up and coming youngsters, they have so much confidence and self belief. Seems to be what Rodwell has lacked of late!

Ozwald

Agree0 Disagree0

Rodwell is limited by the players around him and the coaching he gets. And his injuries have slowed his progress along with the expectation placed on him by the media. He showed he has the right temprement when he made his england debut, the talent is still there he just needs the right coaching to get the best out of him, and i feel he'd get that at United.

Shappy

Agree0 Disagree0

I dont think Syd is well placed to abuse rumours, after all his list of players who were definately leaving in the summer including Gibson, Berbatov, Kuschack to name but a few are still at the club............ {Ed007's Note - There was a strong chance of Berbatov leaving with several teams interested, I expected him to leave. As for Gibson, he would have been at Sunderland if he lowered his wage demands. Kuszak would have been sold as well if a deal could have been agreed. So what is your point caller? Or do you just come on to make snidey remarks against other regular posters that at least have the decency to leave a name? What did you say during the summer? Even if you were 100% right we will never know Mr Noname Child.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed007 you are a legend,as for sydney he always has something intelligent and imformative to say i agree with 99% of what he has to say and appreciate what he writes, now to take my tongue from your backsides, joeyored {Ed007's Note - It just annoys me when people go through the site and all they do is leave little silly pathetic posts or adding complete garbage to a post slagging regular posters or dissing their information without adding anything to it or any form of reasoning why they disagree. It is childish, pathetic and very annoying. You are all big boys that can look after yourselves on here, but when I see someone basically 'bullying' someone else and constantly trying to slag off/put down one person I need to step in, it is called trolling. Oh and thanks for the praise mate. I was actually wondering if Syd's fan club (the three guys sharing a laptop) were back :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

Please remember Pogba has only been seen against kids and reserves. I think he's got great potential, but I've seen players with a great under 18 record ,at OT and they just faded into the lower divisions. I'd like to see him play in the first team. I feel Tunicliffe is the most likely young midfielder (under 20) to make it at United. I still believe we need a defensive and an offensive midfielder. Tiote is awesome and Ganso is the best under 23 year old midfielder on the planet. hope SAF snaps them up! If Pogba is good enough he'll still be given his chance, SAF is like that, he loves youthful, enthusiastic and dedicated players.

Well eds you might as well close the transfer rumour sites down and just have banter sites
jred

Agree0 Disagree0

I think the rumour site was originally set-up for members of the public to post rumours that they have heard through the grapevine, from their mates who know someone at the club, from a bloke down the pub, from an ex-player that lives in their street, not necessarily from media sources. We have all cut & pasted stories from the internet, but without quotes from relevant sources, some stories are really not worth posting.

Sydney!

I was down the pub with a bloke whos an ex player at united and lives on my street and his heard on the grapevine that united are interested in ganso

Santos star Paulo Henrique Ganso has told Manchester United they must wait for him.

Ganso's agent revealed last week that United, AC Milan and PSG were all chasing his client.

Agree0 Disagree0

Think your being a bit too critical as of late Syd. Who cares where the rumours are from? If they're real we'll find out in January/Summer. Chances are we are interested/have been interested at some point. He is after all a cracking player.

RedDevil92

Agree0 Disagree0

Ganso has never even mentioned Manchester United. Again it's paper talk. He said on November 10th 2011 when speaking to AS.

"I am happy at Santos, I am under a contract and the club's centenary and the FIFA Club World Cup are coming up.

"The truth is that I am not thinking about leaving Santos in 2012."

Paris Saint-Germain have also shown interest in Ganso, who last month had told Globoesporte: "We will have to wait for the Club World Cup to finish to sit down and talk again about this.

"We cannot rush things at this point. I know that 2012 will be an important year for Santos, but I want to wait before making any type of decision."

Ganso's agent said that United, PSG & AC Milan were chasing his client months ago. Like I said it's old stories recycled.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah, like what syd was saying! This is clearly old news being recycled. Everything regarding Ganso's future has been quiet ever since he spoke out about his future. These stories are made for people who check out who united are linked with every once in a while, unlike us lot who are far more keen on knowing who could potentially be on their way. You guys should know that there is nothin to this story. The amount of stories i've read now, i only really get semi-excited when there is a juicy quote from someone behind it.

For example someone to come out and say that united are 'mega' interested in christian erikson and speak so strongly of what they think they know. But then again things change quickly! One ting is for sure, Erikson has more skill than my girlfriend in the bedroom

Ozwald

Agree0 Disagree0

How do you know erikson is good in the bedroom
jred

Agree0 Disagree0

Jred I suspect Sydney!'s word for word response was delivered with a hint of irony lol

TK-Red

Agree0 Disagree0

I wish this transfer would just happen already

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think this transfer will happen any time soon. Ganso is a great player but I'm sure I read something about his work permit doesn't allow him to come and play in the premier league? I'm sure I read this last time a Ganso rumour was brought up... Could've just dreamt it though!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ganso's is eligible to play in the EPL. he has been a regular member of the Brazilian nation squad (often in the team) for the past 2 years.
