Ed1 thanks regards Max Clayton. Do you expect him in the prem shortly or maybe championship first? Do you see United being interested after signing Nick Powell? {Ed001's Note - I expect him to stay with Crewe a couple more years, unless they get relegated. He is apparently happy there and feels he is making improvements as a player, but not yet ready to move on. United are very much interested in him, they have scouts at Crewe games on a regular basis, they also like Colclough and another forward there whose name escapes me.}

I think Victor fisher is the guy to buy and posted this a few months ago. He is brilliant and will cost us a fortune in a few years.

Would love Eriksen, but do we need Fischer? Just another young striker

hes a top quality play dont get me wrong but do we really need another attacking midfielder? i think he is best in the role that kagawa plays and hes not at kagawas standard yet. Think it would be more wise to sign a defensive midfielder as we are leaking way too many goals at the minute and quite frankly carrick isnt good enough.

Agree2 Disagree1

I would prefer Viktor Fischer. He can play on the left wing too and is very dangerous when drifting inside.

And to be honest... on the left wing we do not have anyone who is good enough. Lingad may well be in a few years but Young is not good enough.

Agree2 Disagree0

Our weakness is a solid HM or DM in the form of Wanyama. Still I think Jones will fill this role nicely this season and all we need is a pacey left winger a la Bale (we can all dream ;)). Rodriguez would be nice if not. Other than that we are sorted for a long long time with the talent we have in the academy (Daehli, Pereira, Wilson, Iaonnou, Rothwell, Pearson, Barmby, Rashford, Mitchell, B-Jackson and Henderson)

Eriksen would be bought to replace Nani, he'd be played as an attacking midfielder, not central midfielder. We'd play Rooney, Kagawa and Eriksen behind RVP. I still maintain that Eriksen is hugely overrated.

Fresh!

Agree1 Disagree0

I still dont get why we would be in for eriksen. He's unproven, a flop on the international stage so far, doesnt play in a position where we need someone ( with Rooney, Kagawa, Young, Cleverley and Anderson all able to fill in ), and is vastly overrated. Goetze, Muniain, Isco, Rodriguez and even Adam Maher( who can play a deep role too )are all better options.

Now for fischer, he oozes talent and is the best in his age group. We should definetly be in for him.

Fischer yes but Eriksen is over-rated and I prefer Isco tbh.

Hi eds, question on zaha. Have we shown an interest? Do you think we are waiting to see which country he chooses, as losing him to African nations in future years may affect utd's decision? Also if he chooses England the price would be higher as there's always a premium on English players due to future quotas of foreign players. Quandary me thinks
Can you shed any light on this for me? Thanks in advance,
Tookers {Ed002's Note - He has made his choice of country. Crystal Palace will look to hold on to Zaha until the summer and if they get promoted perhaps after that too. He was to be allowed to move this past summer at the right price with Sunderland, West Ham and Reading look possible destinations. Liverpool have certainly looked at Zaha in the past but there is strong interest from Arsenal. Game time will no doubt be a factor in the short-term.}

He won't be commited to England if he plays tonight, as its only a friendly, he could still play for Ivory Coast

Agree1 Disagree0

Is he really all that....has anyone watched him closely...Ed's?

They were raving about him in the papers yesterday. If so, we should be interest with our wingers. He looks little lightweight as he only weighs about 10 1/2 stone

Agree0 Disagree0

He stood out against us last season. He was running rings around Fabio, Park and Gibson..

Also you can't say he's lightweight. Otherwise you'd have to say the same thing about Sterling as he's probably smaller. But he's doing alright!

Ozwald {Ed001's Note - just to point out what Ed002 meant about Zaha making a choice of country, he was asked by Drogba to play for Cote D'Ivoire and told him he wanted to play for England, I am told. I am assuming that is what he is referring to.}
