I really feel we are getting David de Gea. I also really feel we are getting Raphael Varane. I actually feel we may get a marquee player. Maybe Kagawa or Sanchez.We may get a striker, depends on whether Berbatov leaves or not. Gilly.

My dream signings for us this summer are
Neuer, Witsel, Modric and Vucinic and if we got any of them i'd be happy.
I also like Vidal Hernanes M'Vila Podolski Falcao Adler and Handanovic, who i would also be happy to see in united colours next season.

Heres my thoughts on the potential transfers for the summer.
GK- it really could be anyone and sir alex and david gill seem happy with this position. on a personal note i think De Gea will be the best player of his generation but i'm not sure a move for him is a good idea just yet as we'll have a 26 year old keeper and two 20 year olds in a position that experiance is key, also his delaying as he's not sure may show slight confidence issues and if he did make a mistake which will happen our press will be pretty brutal to him which could cause real problems for his confidence(although i still really rate him).

DF- i think brown will leave and maybe de laet(although i really rate him as a squad player and he's versitile), and can't see us buying anyone of significance unless Evra leaves but i doubt he will. so maybe just a youth player here(Varane maybe?)

MF- I think it's obvious we'll see someone or two come in here. I feel it'll be someone more defensive to help shore us up away from home where we've been poor this year. I can't see us signing an AM as we never really play with one and Rooneys best position is dropping deep so they would be competing for space, also it's Anderson's best position and with his new contract i don't see him going anywhere for a year or two, allso Cleverley can play there. i'm not convinced by Sneijder he had a great year winning the champions league and getting to the world cup final but he didn't do anything against a schalke side who we tore apart. Also if Sir Alex wanted him then he would have gone for him when we sold Ronaldo, everything linking us to him has come from him or his agent, and sir alex said he liked him when asked but he doesn't comment on our targets so i really don't feel we'll sign him. As for Wingers we currently have Valencia Nani Park Giggs Cleverley Obertan Bebe Morrison Welbeck King Rooney and Hernandez who either all play wide or who can do if needed so i doubt we'll sign a winger unless a couple of those players leave.

ST- with sir Alex stating that Welbeck and Diouf will be part of the Squad next year and with Rooney Hernandez and Berbatov that's 5 strikers, i also get the feeling that Owen may sign a one year extension giving us 6 strikers. I think Berbatov may leave but if owen signs a new deal then i don't think anyone else is needed. we may make a move for Benzema if he's availble for the right price but i can't see anyone other than that.

Summery- a GK a DCM are the key signings with maybe a youth defender(Varane) and Benzema. this fits in with Sir Alex saying he expects 2 or 3 new faces in the summer.
thoughts anyone?

I know both United and city have been linked to Sanchez but I think city will be his destination. With nani, Valencia and park, Im not sure where they would put Sanchez because all three do not deserve to be benched unless nani will be sold as part of the potential sneijder deal or to real which makes even less sense for nani
