Ed, do you know if Moyes has any interest left in Lewandowski? It seems plausible that he will not move to Bayern and so a transfer could be back on the cards - and for free. What is your opinion on this? {Ed002's Note - You have had the situation about Lewandowski explained repeatedly - nothing has changed.}

Ed I like your bluntness haha

Another few targets which hopefully you can clarify whether its paper nonsense or we have genuine interest (and could potentially move for in January) if you don't mind Ed:

1) Alexis Sanchez, if I can remember rightly, you said he was available in the summer, has made a good start to the season though. Would be a great option for us on the right.

2) William Carvalho, the young CM for Sporting Lisbon.

3) Sergi Roberto, plenty of talk about him, read that he's likely to stay at Barca though.

4) Is there any significance in Managala changing agents to Mendes? Could he be on the way out in January?

5) Kalidou Koulibaly, quite a few reports linking us with him.

6) Lastly, not who we are interested in, but can you see any of Anderson, Valencia, Young or Buttner leaving in January?

{Ed002's Note - (1) There has been no interest in Sanchez recently from MU taht I am aware of. (2) William Carvalho seems unlikely to move in January. (3) Barcelona need to raise some funds through sales as they are looking to strengthen in several areas and will also be bringing players through (like Tello) that have been getting experience in the B team. They do accept some of the B side (e.g. Deulofeu and Roberto) have attracted interest from elsewhere and could be let go but many would be reluctant to move on without an assurance of first team football. Like Deulofeu who is on loan at Everton, Roberto has been of interest to English sides including Spurs and Chelsea. Roberto has been offered around a number of sides. (4) Mangala is en route elsewhere, quite possibly in January. (5) koulibaly has been looked at by a number of sides including Manchester United and Monaco. Monaco has another solution. MU should decide he is not good enough. (6) I really don't want to be predicting timescales.}

Thanks Ed.

Mangala to Chelsea?

Shame about the other players I mentioned, doesn't look to be anything positive we can look forward to in January yet. Koke seems to be the new topic of the week. {Ed002's Note - They are really just a random set of players - next week it will be a different set.}

EDs & Anyone Is there any truth to the fact that Koke has a 20 million release clause? {Ed001's Note - it was 15m Euros last season, but he signed a new contract in September which will, I am sure, have included an increased release clause. Unfortunately my Spanish is not good enough to find out for sure! It does seem, if I can trust the translation, that the new release clause is only 18m Euros. It is difficult to be sure as 5 players sorted new deals in one go, but it seems the rest are now on a 24m Euro release clause, while his is only 18m. Odd if true.}

@Ed001

I have watched him a few times and the comparisons with Xavi are not far off. Especially his shielding of the ball, the way he moves forward with it and looks for options while keeping the ball is very Xaviesque.

He also seems a strong player and difficult to knock off the ball so definitely a Moyes type player.

Could he be an option in January? What is your opinion? {Ed001's Note - I do believe there to be interest in him from United, but Atletico themselves feel that he is set to stay for a while. I think it would be more likely that he will wait and see where they finish the season.}

Agree0 Disagree0

He would be a good addition imo. Also, Herrera seems to have gone off the boil a bit in the last few games. The whole club seems to be making him a scapegoat. The interest from United did unsettle him it seems.

Agree1 Disagree0

Looks an excellent player, very strong on the ball as well. Surely the likes of Barca would be his preferred option if he were to leave?

Sorry that was meant for ed001 or others who want to chime in.

Thanks Ed02. I read somewhere that it s by law that players have release clauses in countries like spain, is that true?

and is it public knowledge what the amounts are or is it just a case of things being leaked? {Ed002's Note - It really is not as simple as you think. Remind me later in the week and I will explain again.}
