what are you baseing this on, I only ask because I like the player but haven't heard anything about us being interested of late, does anyone else have any info about any interest in him ED

Yeah me too! I actually quite like Henderson, the more i see him the better he seems to get. However i don't think paying upwards of £12 Million would really be value unless Sir Alex is 100% confident that he's something special.

Does anybody know anything on the Henderson front? He's gone from our most talked about target (whether we wanted him or not) to nothing, not even a whisper about the lad. .

I am a massive fan of Modric as well but I can see him joining Chelsea in the summer and maybe even Bale. I think Man City and Chelsea will fight it out for them. It could also have the added effect of stopping Spurs competing for Champions League if they don't manage to bring in the same level of players. Although, they would probably get at least £50 million. Harry's gonna have to do some wheeling and dealing!

@Ed002 has once before confirmed that Modric is not in Chelsea's summer plans. He maybe a player that Carlo wants, but that's neither here nor there as Roman decides who comes in, with a little whisper in the ear from Arnesen I would imagine. I expect Carlo will return to Italy in the summer, Roma would be his preferred choice although he would rather stay at Chelsea. Bale is certain to leave in the summer, every time he talks about Spurs, he talks about them distanced from himself. Mods wants everyone to stay at Spurs but knows Bale will leave, this may make Mods change his mind about staying. I expect a minimum of £50m for the pair plus a few players. They will go to different teams.
I cannot see either of them ending up at United, although I would love to replace Scholes with the little Croat. Bale has Left back written all over himself, but £25m+ is too expensive for a Left back. If Chelsea start turning their attentions to buying Sahin, Ozil & Schweinsteiger then expect Mourinho to follow soon after. Ed002 are Chelsea top three main targets still Sanchez, VDW & Neymar?
Also, do you think Chelsea will finish above Arsenal this year? I can see Chelsea dropping a maximum of three points between now and the end of the season, do you think Arsenal will stutter?

As for Mr Abramovich deciding who comes in with advice from Arneson, you are a long way from teh truth. I think it likly that you may well never of heard of the single most influential person on the transfer side of the club.}
