It looks like Roma and Cagliari may have already started negotiations to work out Radja Nainggolan's ownership so he is 100% Roma's. Ed002 have United been in contact with either Roma or Nainggolan's agent about a potential transfer? I just wonder as you've mentioned him possibly moving to United if his ownership situation is sorted out.

What are other people's views on him? Watched him again today and he looks like a solid midfielder, similar style to Vidal albeit more defensively focused. Maybe a cheaper, less risky alternative to the Chilean?

Eds - with the much publicised move for Kevin Strootman looking less likely due to his injury concerns and the Pogba auction looking like an expensive game, what is our postion on William Carvalho?

We have been linked in the past and the lad is a competitive mountain of a man who would add steel to our midfield. I understand he will not come cheap but would he be available and would we be interested?

{Ed001's Note - last I heard, which was in the summer, he was not currently under consideration. Arsenal are still monitoring him, I don't know if the Strootman injury will see United go back and take another look at him though, sorry.}

{Ed001's Note - I would expect it to be assessed closer to the summer, checking on his progress, but I would think that this would see the club moving focus, even if LVG doesn't.}

Thanks for the reply. I'd love to see us moving for someone like Pogba but I may be wrong, but with SAF still in the background at Old Trafford that may be out of the question.
