Everyone seems to be talking about midfielders and defenders so I thought I would ask about another position, specifically wingers. Manchester United has a rich history of top class wingers something I feel we are lacking at the moment.

For the left hand side I would love us to sign Memphis Depay, the lad will be a true superstar. However I can't really think of a player who could take the right hand berth.

Ed, are PSV preparing for life without Depay next season and do you know if he and his management team are looking to get a move?

Who would you guys like to see on the right wing?

{Ed002's Note - PSV's Memphis Depay has attracted interest from a number of clubs with Manchester City, Real Madrid, Newcastle, Spurs, Marseille and Manchester United looking to see of a deal can be struck this past summer. Marseille signed Batshuayi and dropped their interest in Depay. Newcastle and Spurs are known to still keeping an eye on the player with PSG, Manchester United and Everton being suggested as possible destinations as well. Someone very knowledgable about football in the Netherlands has suggested that a move to Newcastle would suit him better than the likes of Real Madrid or the Manchester sides as he would need a couple of years to establish himself in the first team and sitting on the bench will not help him at all. He has also advised against a move to Spurs, and his views are well enough thought of to likely remove them from being an option for the player himself.}

rewz - atm me personally i can't see us signing any wingers, we don't use the wingers we have now to full effect, because of the 3-5-2 formation.

I do wonder if he's using the 5-3-2 due to the lack in perceived quality in other areas. I hope once he's happy with the defence and gets Stootman that he will start being more attacking and utilise wingers.

One player that no one has mentioned that has caught my eye this season and I imagine has caught the eye of many top clubs in Europe is Lacazette. Not only does he have blistering pace for a center forward, he already has 19 goals this season and is just 11 away from breaking Ibra's record in Ligue 1 of 30 goals.

Ed, are you aware of what his future could hold? Who is interested and are we in the race? He would be a great forward for us, likened as the new Henry.

{Ed002's Note - Manchester City, Newcastle, PSG and Inter have recently enquired about Lacazette but Lyon has no intention of selling in January. Manchester City have moved on to buy Bony and now need to be making space. Arsenal and Valencia have had the player watched.}
