Gazzetta Dello Sport & other sports papers in Italy reporting & adamant that Neymar is Bayern Munich Bound in the summer. plus Lavezzi wants to go back to Napoli, Juve are in talks with Madrid for Higuain & have made a huge player plus cash offer for Cavanni too, a lot of speculation as to which player has been offered, Vucinic is the favorite. Mourinho to Chelsea & wants Falcao, though Monaco want Falcao & Evra, Pelligrini to s***ty along with Isco. Ancelotti to Madrid. And Mancini interested in Napoli job as speculation mounts that Cavanni will be sold & their manager will leave if he is.

Interesting to see what other countries are hearing or more likely, predicting. I'm sure there is some truth in some of the headlines.

Mad Dog.

Believable10 Unbelievable22

The only thing that may happen out of all that is Mourinho to Chelsea.
The rest very unlikely

Agree1 Disagree4

Didn't ibrahimovic's agent confirm recently that he would be staying? I can't see both lavezzi and ibrah going, so if this is true expect to see a lot more rumours linking psg and rooney

Baines to United, Poyet next Everton manager, Stubbs as no 2 bank on it.

Mad Dog.

Believable8 Unbelievable41

Baines and Fellaini are both to united I just had a look at his goals and assists (youtube) this season and anyone who says he ain't what we need eds included should take a look at what he can do for us he will be our modern day Keane or Robson if I could choose any cm for us money or club no obstacle it would be him. Katef

Agree0 Disagree5

Who is your source?

Agree0 Disagree0

I got 6/1 and 4/1 for him to everton & William hill and bet365 have removed everton manager betting from their markets

Agree1 Disagree0

Who is my source? A lge 2 manager who has recently quit his club that I used to play alongside. Good enough? But I cannot mention his name sorry.

Edd just seen a rumour Barcelona are going to listen to offers for thiago this summer would we be interested as I know he was linked with us in the past?
Cheers
Dc {Ed002's Note - Try the search function.}

Believable19 Unbelievable6

He'll go to Bayern.

Dan

Agree0 Disagree0

But would he not be going to barren to do what he is doing at barca playing from the bench. Can't see him starting ahead of any of the current crop at bayern and now Goetze too.
Dc

Agree0 Disagree0

We don't want him. He turned us down a couple of years ago, only to sign a new contract with a very big purchase option. That stupid **** thought he could force his way into the team.

Hi Eds!

With Wigan relegated. do u know of any interest from Manchester United in James Mc Carthy.

Victor J. {Ed002's Note - Not that I am aware.}

Believable7 Unbelievable25

Liverpool are supposedly after him

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets get real please we need quality not just anyone in our midfield and McCarthy vs Xavi or iniesta doe not have that ring about it. stocky red

Agree0 Disagree0

Who seriously cares about mccarthy

your boy mcmanaman needs to be signed up pronto

him on the right and zaha on the left would be absolutely OUTSTANDING

he humiliated clichy which you very rarely see against anyone!

Could any of the Eds or anyone interested in Brazilian football tell me if we still hold a interest in Adryan, in aware we where credited with an interest a while ago and he was tipped for a bright future but I haven't heard anything about him in close to a year now?

19JackC94 {Ed002's Note - Yes, but..... There has been interest shown in Adryan Tavares by Real Madrid, Porto and Manchester United. AC Milan are looking a package together to take him to Italy in the summer.}

Believable10 Unbelievable1

Who looks the most likely to agree a deal with him atm and would you expect a deal to be made this summer?

002, is Cavani likely to be on the move this summer? If so, any indication as to where?

Thanks. {Ed002's Note - There is avery good chance Cavani will move and Manchester City and Chelsea are still interested - I would not be surprised to see Real Madrid try and get involved again but they do not have the cash and will be offering a player plus cash deal. Chelsea want to see an early resolution.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ed002, I know the transfers are unrelated, but due to RM not having much cash, do you believe this is a good time to negotiate a deal for Di Maria? Thanks.

Sydney! {Ed002's Note - They are not stupid Syd.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Cavani has been a naughty boy & his missus will only stay with him if they move away from his mistress "apparently". That's the word in Italy anyway, however I know Juve have made a huge offer which he is interested in. Whether City & Chelsea then enter the race, who knows.

Agree0 Disagree0

I understand that Ed, but they know their targets are also other club's targets, surely it's better to offload the players they no longer want early on in the summer so they have more cash to play with. There is no guarantee Spurs, Man City or Napoli will want Di Maria or that Di Maria will want to join them. The cash could serve them better than using the player as a makeweight.

Is it possible other RM players have been discussed between the clubs? I know it probably doesn't work that way in normal circumstances, but RM do have a list of quality players that they want to move on.

Sydney! {Ed002's Note - It is a naive view Syd.}

Gaitan And Garay to join in a joint bid? Garay already agreed a move months ago and strong interest in Gaitan and a desperate need for a winger. Realistic and would very good signings for sure!

-Jono {Ed004's Note - I don't think we are signing Garay I think Rio will get a new contract tbh}

Believable1 Unbelievable31

We don't need a CB have two senior + experienced in Rio and Vida, the consistent Evans then two young in Jones and Smalling. Tom Thorpe looks a great future prospect likewise with Michael Keane and Frederic Veseli.

ed004, do you know if there is still firm interest in Gaitan from United or are other players being looked at now? Thanks.

Ozwald {Ed004's Note - Unfortunately I still think there is a possibility that United will move for him but I am hoping they don't would rather, Ozil, Bale, Rodriguez, Lamela, and Di Maria in that order}

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree Ed004. Even without Rio we have Vidic, Evans, Smalling and Jones all top center backs. There is no need for Garay and we definitely have priorities in other positions. Left back, Central Midfield, a winger and the rooney situation should be far higher up the priority list.

Rio retiring from internationals clearly indicates he will stay imo.

REDFAITH {Ed004's Note - I honestly think our signings this summer will be Baines, Strootman, Rodriguez/Di Maria and Lewandowski. The only other change I would make there would be instead of Lewandowski I'd go for Ozil and only if Hernandez requests to leave then look at Lewandowski}

Agree0 Disagree0

Is it just me who thinks these would be 2 terrible signings.
we don't need any more centrebacks. we already have the experiance of vidic and rio, the much improved evans, the beast that is jones aswell as smalling whom i'm sure will partner jones at the heart of the england defence for many years aswell as m. keane whom looks 1 prem loan away from been ready.
As for gaitan, I don't know what it is but I just don't rate him. I beleive there are many far superior players out there whom could add a lot more to our team

19JackC94 {Ed004's Note - I agree with everything you said there}

Agree1 Disagree0

As for the wings my shortlist would be rodriguez/lamela/sanchez/isco, di maria is a good player don't get me wrong but I think much like young he has a tendancy to go down to easy which is something I don't want to see at OT. {Ed004's Note - I reckon we could get it out of him. One thing Di Maria has that very few of the others do is he is very good defensively and works extremely hard for the team. Sanchez is the only other on that list who works very hard defensively}

Agree0 Disagree0

That list you put there in reply to me Ed004 would exactly be my dream summer. Add Fabregas to that (i know its a complete rubbish rumour but still we can dream ;) ) and we could be a great team instantly.

I have honestly had enough of Anderson, Nani, Evra and in recent times Rooney as well. Time for a change.

REDFAITH {Ed004's Note - That would put us right up there but I would probably have Gundogan ahead of Fabregas but wouldn't say no to either of them also wouldn't mind Modric and I think Moyes is a fan of Moutinho but not 100% on him yet}

Agree0 Disagree0

Well I still think I would prefer sanchez to di maria, plus in a few year time imagine the link up with sanchez and henriquez if they play together in the chile team {Ed004's Note - Or if we had Di Maria on one side and Sanchez on the other think of how high up the pitch we could press teams as all of Di Maria, Sanchez, Kagawa and even RVP work very hard off the ball. We could near enough buy those two players from the sale of just Rooney leaving heaps for midfield and left back with Nani, Evra, Anderson and possibly Young still to be sold}

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't think Gundogan will be let go this year Ed004. I would have him too but from what I have read Fabregas and Modric might be made available so I would rather get them than pursue Gundogan and end up with nothing.

REDFAITH

Agree0 Disagree0

That team would have an unreal workrate Ed004. Especially if Baines is signed it would be incredibly solid. Still just pipe dreams though :/

REDFAITH {Ed004's Note - It won't happen but it would be very cheap. I reckon you could easily get two hard working midfielders in as well like Gundogan and Bender}

Agree0 Disagree0

That team would be sick and would have so much attacking potential, imagine the goals from that front 4. although I said I would prefer others to di maria I think I would be more than happy with a team lined up as you suggested although if any I could only see 1 winger coming in this summer along with zaha {Ed004's Note - I reckon only one winger will be signed as well. I reckon from next season it will be both Kagawa and Di Maria out wide with both of them cutting in and then full backs providing the width with Lewandowski playing ahead of RVP}

Agree0 Disagree0

Fella's it don't make one bit of difference who we or Fergie wished to sign, the decision now my fellow reds rests with David Moyes, the only way around these so called super signings, is that certain deals have already be made behind closed doors. One more thing folks I'd like to wish David Beckham all the best for the future and to thank him for many match winning displays for our team. Rock The Red.

Agree1 Disagree0

Rightly or wrongly I have always thought the Garay rumours are nothing mroe than that, newspaper talk that doesn't make sense at all. I rememebr commenting on this when it surfaced but one of the Eds seemed to think we were in talks with Benfica? So what is the update on these talks that supposedly were happening?
Invisible STuey {Ed002's Note - It is as I previously explained.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe we need at least one Centre Back, Rio isn't getting any younger and Vidic is rather injury prone these days so if both are out I think we need at least one experienced centre back

Agree0 Disagree0

Machester United will not signing Ronaldo or Bale.
It is suggested that they are turning their attention to RM's other flying winger Argentine Angel Di Maria in a £20 million deal as Utd are unhappy with Young and Nani.

Believable32 Unbelievable20

Di Maria is not the answer. shocking control and poor distribution.
Gaitan would be a far better solution imo
ajred

Agree0 Disagree2

I don't think Di Maria has got shocking control or poor distribution just sometimes like Nani he can have poor decision making. Do agree that Gaitan would be a far better signing though.

Ozwald

Agree0 Disagree2

I am surprised by the negative posts on Di Maria. Him on the right and Gaitan on the left is a scary proposition for most teams.

All we then need is the advanced playmaker i. e Modric

Shahram {Ed004's Note - I don't rate Gaitan very highly and would be dissappointed if he is signed though if he is, he will get my support}

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't want di maria as he has a tendany to go down to easy much like young does and I don't want to see that, I don't want gaitan as I really don't rate him. my options would be Sanchez whom would add pace creativity and goals to out team and i'm sure I read would be available for around 18m, Isco whom I read today in some paper would be avalible for 17m which I highly doubt, or if we hwere to spend more then rodriguez or lamela {Ed004's Note - My problem with Isco is that he is very light weight imo and he seems to go missing in games. Also isnt the hardest of workers on the pitch}

Agree0 Disagree0

Isco wouldn't be my top target its just I would hate to see him in the hands of one of city or chelski. a big IF here but if chelski where to come calling over rooney do you think they would still be interested if we requested mata and would mata welcome it. {Ed004's Note - I don't think there is any chance of us signing Mata.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Di maria with shocking control and poor distribution? Really? Don't know which Di Maria you have been watching. He is a bit inconsistent sometimes but the only player consistent at the Madrid circus has been Ronaldo. He was pretty consistent at Benfica and I was disappointed when he signed for Real and we didn't make a move.

REDFAITH {Ed004's Note - So was I, I'm pretty sure he is a Manchester United fan though I could be completely wrong on that one}

Agree0 Disagree0

Why is everyone forgetting the fact that we've signed Zaha? He looks well good IMO I think that Moyes will sign 3 to 4 players in the summer. Strootman, Fellaini, Baines and possibly a striker depending on other situations. But that's just my opinion.

Agree0 Disagree0

Di Maria is the best possible option after Ronaldo, Bale & Rodriguez. He may even be a better option than Rodriguez. No one knows how Rodriguez will adapt to the EPL. Di Maria will cost half as much as Rodriguez and we could spend money in other places.

Sydney!

Agree1 Disagree0

I agree with ajred. been watching madrid all season and the ball looks like a hot potato to di maria. he is no better than nani who is really inconsistent so why sign him? money could be spent elsewhere and I suspect moyesy will have a far better idea of what's required to retain our pl title and challenge in europe
roomer {Ed004's Note - Id like to think you'd agree what you just posted. Tip for the future we can check the persons previous post so don't try and agree with one of your other posts with a different name}

Agree0 Disagree0

BUSTED, lol

I think Di Maria would be a step up from Young and Nani personally plus he will be far cheaper than most of the other options.

HBadger

Agree1 Disagree0

Dan

Agree0 Disagree0

Sydney! You've got me worried now - this is the second time in a month I have to completely disagree with you (only worried because your other 30-odd posts have been spot on!): Di Maria is gash. Naughty Badger is right about ball/hot potato - for a change, stats prove a point (check out Di Maria's pas completion rate in a slow Spanish league. Anyway, it's not a problem: United will NOT sign another winger unless he's called Cristiano (that won't happen either!).

Agree0 Disagree0

Who here wants cheaper options I will be shocked if we don't buy Bale and I am pretty shore we will. and ontop we have to see what the new manager of Real Madrid says on whos staying whos going so don't get ya hopes up on this and Gill went to spain for the transfer of Rooney not to buy anyone fact they more or less have decided to sell Wayne and only Real and Chelsea are in for him that he would consider going to so if he goes then money and wages to go else were ps if we buy Baines and Fellaini and sell Rooney then Everton are as they say in the money maybe they can have some of our dead wood I can see Young going there. Katef

Agree0 Disagree0

Sydney, are you seriously saying that Di Maria is one of the top four wingers in the world?!
As for Uniteds apparent interest, we were interested when he was leaving benfica but Madrid bidded higher. Do we really want a player who turned us down before?

Patrice Evra has just had his best season for several years and due to this iv'e always considered the rumours regarding Baines to be well off the mark. However after hearing it stated at last nights awards that Evra had wanted to return to France for several years and that he had only stayed because of the manager I feel that the Baines move may well have some substance to it, especially as Monaco are now rumoured to be interested in taking Evra back.
Raffa

Believable52 Unbelievable6

Lazy lazy s***. Hasn't got back to defend at a faster pace than a leisurely jog all season. Watch Ramires' goal in the cup at home, Evra starts 10 yards in front of him and ends up 20 yards behind. Should've got Baines last season.

Agree0 Disagree2

Theres no smoke without fire

Agree0 Disagree0

Let me drive me home. I would be glad but with all respect will also thank him for his best years at the club. Its time to go.
Rodio17

Agree0 Disagree0

Leighton Baines will be at mufc next season even if Evra doesn't move

Agree0 Disagree0

"Let me drive ME home"

Go on then Rodio, seeing as you offered ;)

HBadger

Agree0 Disagree0

Do not want to see anyone slagging Evra off if he does want to return home to France. He's been so influential in his time with us, yes in recent seasons he has had periods where he doesn't get back and defend as much as he should but his attitude is top notch, great example to young players and he's been an excellent vice captain! Hope him well with whatever he does.

Baines would be an ideal replacement especially the fact that the new manager already knows him inside out!

Ozwald

Agree0 Disagree0

Personally i'd have him stay for one more season but if he was to go i'd applaud everything he's given to the club.
i know a lot of you want baines but I personally think that this would be the ideal oportunity to throw fabio and buttner in at the deep end, constantally rotating them making strong competition for the position untill there is one clear winner much like we did with DDG and Linderguard. If all fails and it turns out I was massively wrong then we could always splash out in january to bring someone in {Ed004's Note - The problem with Buttner and Fabio is I don't think either of them are good enough for the left back position. Add to that Buttner has just recently been bought I can not see him being sold and after what Shappy said the other day I am not sure Fabio would want to cover for his brother unfortunately. Shame Wigan got promoted I feel they would have been the best place to send Fabio imo}

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldn't want to sell buttner as I beleive he looks extremely promising going forward so only needs training getting back and I would hate to see fabio cover RB. I really want him on the left as I think if he did have the same drive as rafeal showed we would have some real quality full backs in them to. people says he's not naturally a Lb but on the same note Rafeal isn't naturally a Rb but look how he has took to it. before been picked up by a brazilian team rafeal used to play as a striker and fabio used to play deffensive midfield

Agree0 Disagree0

Evra has been a great servant for the club, if he wishes to leave then let's not stand in his way.
As the replacing him, people talk about Baines non stop. Are we forgetting we have Fabio and Buttner. Two young promising players, why do we need 3 left backs?
