Are we still looking for a striker ed?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - The problem at the moment is there are more clubs looking for strikers than there are strikers available. If the right one comes up it is possoble, else they will look again leading up to the summer.}

Is there a particular type of striker we are looking at Ed?

{Ed002's Note - Must be over 5 ft 5 inches.}

Makes sense ed, the pool seems to be thinning yet the clubs dining at the top table continues to grow, I imagine that is why a raft of clubs are looking toward their academy's.

Thanks 👍.

What would the thoughts be of bringing in cavani for 2 seasons? Good pro, work horse, goal scorer and at 32 is just nearing the end of his time at the top!

100%.

DDG
AWB Koulibaly Maguire Williams
McTom Pogba
Greenwood Bruno Rashford
Cavani

Would be a huge step up and something that I genuinely believe is attainable for next season. Lindelof, Tuanzebe, Fred, James, Martial etc rotating in, we’d be in a much stronger place.

Unfortunately I don’t think those in the club want to go in that direction.

Money isn’t an issue - with the players Ole has moved out of the club, we are saving over £1m per week.

Isn't Cavani off to Atletico Madrid. Apparently he has requested to leave PSG.

Looks like the bruno deal is coming along quite nicely according to various outlets, yet I will ask the Oracle instead.

Ed002 is there a chance this deal will be completed?

{Ed002's Note - Subject to agreement being reached, yes.}

😂😂😂 Ed002 has been consistent on this all along, it's down to us to agree a fee. Can our master negotiators manage it? We shall see.

£43 million up front with £17 million in add ons and £120,000 a week wages.
To me that looks like a fairly decent deal from our side.
Took long enough though 🤣.

No inside info I’m afraid TopBomin. Just on a few reports I’ve seen. Could be absolute nonsense but would be a good deal if true.
