I'm hearing United have had a bid accepted for Luka Modric, Fee in the region of 28 million with add ons, Modric has made it clear to Tottenham that that he wants to move on.
Appears Sunderland are after literally any of are players. I'm hearing they have made a 15 million pounds offer for Danny Welbeck along with Gibbo, O'Shea & Wesley (combined 13 million) Although i'm told Wesley will be going to Everton & Fergie has left the decision up to O'Shea wether or not he decides to go!
PSG are stepping up their persuit of Berba & have made a 12.5 million pounds offer.
Alternatives to David De Gea are being looked at due to mixed messages coming from him & his people, although he is still favourite to be United's number 1 next season.
Owen Hargreaves will start training with Arsenal in July in an attempt to win a deal with them.
Not a clue on the Sanchez scenario, although in my opinion if it means Nani leaving, i'd rather us not bother with him.
Nasri & Sneijder still being looked at & have been advised that Nari is willing to put in a transfer request but only if United step up their interest & make Arsenal a serious offer.

Sydney you said that EVANS will replace O'SHEA as the one who plays across the back four...
But you are forgetting that SAF uses O'SHEA in champions League and games against teams which have tall players....
O'SHEA does a good defensive job against teams with tall and sturdy players and i really doubt EVANS would be able to do that job coz as it is his heading is not that great....
And BTW, is O"SHEA leaving for sure, ED?

Hi ed, do you think there may be an agreement of sorts between united, city and Chelsea that they won't bid for certain players I.e we will be free to sign sneijder, Chelsea to sign modric and city for sanchez and there won't be counter bids from the rival clubs? That way everyone is 'happy'. {Ed002's Note - Such agreements exist between certain clubs but I fear there are none between the clubs you mention.}

Nasri deal not happenning - just using united to get big contract at arsenal.
City are now interested in de rossi, so unlikely united will compete with big money offers.
Modric prefers united instead of chelski as he knows he'll get more time on pitch.
Sanchez deal - who knows wots going on!

Is it true that Sanchez now only needs to choose from us, Barca, Juve, City and Inter? If yes, and since he had agreed to 3M Euros a year with Barca and is supposedly a United fan.. would we not be able to provide him with an acceptable wage package? (Not not the best as am sure City and maybe even Juve could top that?) Personally, even if we get just one quality box to box style midfielder (Sissoko or Martinez please!!) and this guy, along with the additions of Jones, De Gea, Cleverley and Welbeck / Macheda.. I think we would have had a pretty decent window since I think the bunch of youngsters we currently have would really be a handul in the next 2 years or so!
Also, have we lost interest in Nasri now? Any idea?

my cousin goes out with one of the united youth team players's brother, cant mention any names, but he's been fillin us all in on how much transfer activity is goin on around old trafford this year, more than he as ever known, he said there should be at least 2 world class signings maybe 3 along with the 3 that are pretty much already been done (jones, de gea, young). cant wait see the new look united team next year, sweinsteiger, modric and sanchez will do me fine and i'll have the best summer ever and non stop partyin if these 3 sign, i'll even get new kit with obertan on back, get it done and stop draggin ur scottish feet fergie..

I wondered if gill's part in the jones deal is bittersweet. On the one side he's signed a great player for SAF and utd but on the flip side he's pretty much doing away with any chance of his son playing regularly for us in the future.
