I believe De Gea will join Real Madrids new wave of galacticos, unfortunately for us! For anybody that's interested, some paper reports they'll be making bids for pogba, veratti and reus as well! As I said, the new "wave".
That summer they signed Ronaldo, kaka, benzema and alonso was unparalleled.

{Ed004's Note - I would probably go Valdes and sign or promote a number 2 with potential. I don't follow enough goalkeepers to know who we should sign. Maybe Cech if Chelsea would sell him to us. Otherwise invest the money on outfield players. We could have a decent amount of incomings on transfers this season. Potential De Gea, Rafael, Evans, Nani, Hernandez, RVP and possibly Young/Fellaini. Hoping Di Maria stays tbh.}

Mourinho would no way sell to Arsenal and Cech would have no interest in a team outside the CL so that is Liverpool out the question and Man City who don't need a keeper. If he stays in England then we are the best bet, but he could just as easily move abroad. I do expect us to make an enquiry though at least.

Ed is valdes good enough to be our number1 next season,I don't think he is,there was a lot of question marks about his last few seasons in barca,he comes off his line when he is supposed to stay and has let a lot of goals in on that alone,I think if ddg goes we have to go and get a top keeper.

We should go for Lloris!! Still only 28 so would have a fair few years of him in his prime. He's way to good a keeper to not be playing champs league.

Hey guys. Long term reader 1st time poster, (please be gentle) De Gea will be a great loss. Handanovic looks a great keeper but paries instead of catching. A young keeper that could learn from Valdes experience is Simone Scuffet. He looks a very talented young lad. Also haven't we bought a young eastern European keeper? Sorry can't remember his nam.

What do you make of the recent rumors of our interest in Thomas Muller? It is being reported that he doesn't get along well with Pep and does not fit his style of play. It could be a really good signing if true, but will Bayern let him go?
Also, our interest in Pogba is being reported but it seems very unlikely to me that he will sign.

{Ed001's Note - Pogba ruled out a return a while back, though not a move to Manchester. Having said that players often change their mind when an offer sits on the table, but Pogba seemed sure he would never want to return to United.
Muller rumours come about because Pep has been messing about since they wrapped up the Bundesliga, looking at different formations and ways to play without him. Pep is only going to be there for one more season at the most, so I very much doubt Bayern would let arguably their most important player leave because of that.
As for interest, Man Utd are interested in both, of course they are, but it is highly unlikely either will end up at United for next season.}
