Heard some people trying to ressurect Varane interest. Funny thing is he burnt his bridge to old trafford he's not been playing so it definitely a no go now. And to think if he had come he would have got games with our injuries at the back the last 8 months. At least he gets to train with Ronnie ! #benchboy!

Oh you mean the guy who started against city

Agree0 Disagree0

And did prety well, Tevez was invisible!

Agree0 Disagree0

The guy who played 1 game ye

Agree0 Disagree0

He's only 19! How many 19 year old central defenders get the nod over players like Ramos and pepe?
Varane is going to be a classy defender and if we could get him I would be stoked

Heard we're interested in Fellaini, would be very happy to see him at Old Trafford but there's doubt cos Chelsea sees him also as Lampard's replacement. To be frank Fellaini would strengthen our midfield physically and airially by winning high ball which is our weakness. Eds please is there a possibility of we signing him?

Since when has winning a high ball been our weakness?

Fergie was on tonights match: Everton-Newcastle... Maybe cause of Feallaini

Agree0 Disagree1

I thought Oscar was the replacement for Lampard

Agree1 Disagree0

Fellaini is only good if you lump the ball to him

Anyone see Neville's bit on him? He said all you need is someone tight to him apart frm his marker

Pardoe

Agree1 Disagree0

Yeah Pardoe but that still means your putting 2 men onto him and that opens up the field for the rest of your team.

Dan

Agree1 Disagree0

More likely he was watching Yohan Cabaye rather than Fellaini.

Ozwald

Can we pull this BS for now. it was here fpor the entire transfer window. I said then that there is no way we would want a player like that and the case still remains.

Look at the team Fergie is putting together. He is CLEARLY not in the market for someone like Fellaini and if he were, do you really think he will compete with the stupid money Everton will be expecting?

We want speed, movement, creativity... we are not going to get it from Fellaini.

MDJ

Agree1 Disagree0

Or maybe of was there because we are playing Newcastle twice in the next three weeks!

Agree2 Disagree0

Even more likely he was watching Newcastle as we have them in the cup

Fellaini's favoured position these days seems to be attacking midfield/second striker. With Kagawa, Rooney, Cleverley covering that position I don't think Fellaini will be an option.
Ferguson made a comment a while back saying that he's never played with a holding midfielder and never will. That rules out anyone like Tiote and suggets that Witsel was never seriously considered. He is trying to follow the Barcelona model so Cabaye could be an option (a very good option in my opinion) as a good passer and hard worker. If he isn't able to bring in anyone of that quality next summer, I wouldn't be surprised to see Scholes coaxed into playing for another year.

Agree1 Disagree0

Felly is quality anyone saying he just a target man is speaking nonsence and obviously only watches one team

Agree0 Disagree0

G.A.G.US.
Do you watch us play at all? We have no arial threat in our team, it IS our weekness.
If you actually watch us in Europe, the last 2 times we have won the CL, we have had a CDM. When we didn't have one, we got ripped to shreads by Barca.

No more Posts on January signings. We never sign players in Jan. SAF always says the team is settled and no signings. Agree tap yes, disagree tap no.

Okay, but this is a rumours page.

That's not true we signed Vidic and Evra in January 06!

Agree4 Disagree1

Patrice evra and nemanja vidic in 2006

Agree4 Disagree0

I think we'll see Hector Herrera sign in jan.

Shappy

Agree4 Disagree0

I wouldn't be surprised to see Herrera, perhaps Berardi and/or Vadillo. But wouldn't expect to see any of them til the summer. Perhaps Berardi could come in to play in the U21's.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree1

Think it will depend on injuries. If Jones and Smalling remain injured for a while reinforcements will be required.

Mad Hatter

Agree0 Disagree1

Vidic and evra

Agree0 Disagree1

Varane unhappy at madrid............we were strong in for him before?

Agree1 Disagree1

Veseli lindegaard tosic de leat possebon manucho larsson vidic evra?

Agree1 Disagree1

Doubt Jan but Eriksen nx summer? hell yeah

Agree0 Disagree2

MACMAN

Agree0 Disagree1

I want to click agree but I also want to disagree .....HELP !! Decisions , decisions ! SHANDY !

Agree0 Disagree1

Erikson would be a good signing but I want a mid who can get stuck in as well. Cabaye would be better for us.

Dan

Agree0 Disagree1

And H. Larson. Jan.

Agree0 Disagree1

Back in the day the king (eric) arrived round jan time I think

Agree0 Disagree1

Think the King arrived in October

DanW

Agree0 Disagree0

Why not? We may well sign someone in Jan, the number 9 shirt is still available.

Ronaldo was signed in January. I could see a similar type of signing this season. We were in for Sanchez, Hazard & Lucas, Fergie is obviously after an exciting player with promise.

Agree0 Disagree0

What about cantona

Agree0 Disagree0

Eric actually signed on nov27 so not quite a january signing but similar in principle I suppose
