I agree, I noticed him a couple of season ago and thought that nobody ever really talks about him. Since then every time I have seen him (bar once where he was shocking), he has been one of the stand out players in a position which doesnt normally get appreciated or noticed. Not sure if he is the missing link though, I think we need something a bit more, but definitely in a year or two if he keeps getting better.

I may not agree with what he says, but GDS has been treated very badly on this site lately. It disgusts me that posters would bully(which it is) another poster this way. You're all United supporters. Why does Kloot actually believe the Glazers(who don't give a flying f**k about the fans) would send someone onto this site? Really Kloot? All I'm saying is, GDS is a United fan who is perhaps a little naive when it comes to the Glazers. But to treat him that way is unacceptable and I'm surprised the Ed's haven't stopped it.
G.A.G.U.S {Ed007's Note - I've deleted loads of posts attacking GDS, and most of the regulars, people need to realise that this is a forum for people to discuss things about Man Utd not for childish attacks on individuals. I will keep an eye out in future and pass it on to the other Eds GAGUS, thanks for bringing it to our attention.}

I'm sorry but GDS isn't a victim in all this. He spends half his time on this site trying to gode people like me and kloot, and then acts like he's being personally attacked when someone responds. Jred called it today, if he's just wants to talk about football then he needs to stop trying to wind people up.
And he's more than happy to personally insult people here too. Plus he likes to accuse people who disagree with him of being scousers, so I don't see how that's far removed from saying he works from the Glazers. The last time he personally insulted me, his response was that this is a banter page not the women's institute. Now I get what you're saying Gagus, but he's as bad, if not worse, than the people you're accusing of bullying him.
Danny Pughnited {Ed007's Note - Nobody should or will be bullying anyone Danny, that's my attitude on it. Both 'sides' of the camp get called all sorts in posts and they just get deleted. Let's keep it to the football side of things without getting too personal over it all.}

I love you guys all of you the Edds ,syd ,GDS ,GAGUS all the Posters who don't leave names an all the ones that do who I havnt mentioned by name all you lads are awesome I look forward everyday to seeing Wat you guys are thinking or Wat you know it doesn't really matter Wat does matter is we are all fans of the greatest club that will ever be an we share our ideas here we don't need the negativity .... Anyway that was my two cents ..... Ps Edds thank you for taking the time to put up wit us all head cases. It's an excellent site.....
CAIN {Ed007's Note - Thanks very much Cain.}
Agree1

I couldnt agree more with GAGUS... He is targeted by a quite a few on here including Kloot and Danny whenever he posts it seems there out just to belittle him... It is a football banter page but there is a line between banter and bullying and that line is blurred.
Mush
Agree0

I agree Danny, but that's not the point. The point is nobody on the site should be calling anyone anything. Now I saw GDS the other day saying you had a boyfriend, as if that's a bad thing. So perhaps it does go both ways. We only see a percentage of the posts the Ed's receive and I'm sure there are some really vile posts everyday. But lately, too many fans have been insulting each other, accusing each other of being 'Glazer employees'. It leaves a sour taste and it really doesn't belong on the site.
G.A.G.U.S
Agree0

Danny, the difference here though mate is that with GDS it was teh odd insult towards you, he's had digs at me as well.
HOWEVER, GDS has had guys gang up on him constantly for the past few weeks. which is wrong.
People need to get a grip and just realise we all support United and although we may have a differ of opinions on different subjects.
I don't like the Glazers in the slightest but I look at football and compare to other clubs from which we would see that we could be in a far worse position.
Some will argue we're in the worst position possible and some like GDS will be slightly more optmistic and say we're in a great position.
Either way, what is happening to him is completely wrong. if what we're seeing with GDS is the future of this site then quite frankly I don't want to be apart of it.

Sadly, it is impossible to communicate on the internet without this personic minority spoiling it for the rest of us.
People don;t undersand the difference between a difference of opinions and simply being rude. I for one have no problem with people posting rude messages. Its like a warning beacon which signals the fact that they are an idiot.
With that said, I can totally appreciate the need to remove bullying from the site and frankly, if the people doing it are permanantly banned, all the better.
Banter is one thing. Attacking someone for the sake of it is another.
MDJ {Ed007's Note - Bullying will not be tolerated and we will be keeping a close eye on posts and anyone posting abusive messages will be blocked from the sites. Let's get past this and move on now. Anyone with any complaints can alert one of us Eds through this way (we will keep it anonymous) or use the 'contact us' form on the site.}

Fellas, we are all United fans on here. It's a rumours page, no-one has sources and if they did this page wouldn't be your first thought. I personally think we have done great business this window, RVP is the best striker about at the moment, Kagawa is soooo much more than a marketing tool (class!) and Powell has the potential to be awesome. All talk of midfielder is a weird one. We all know that that has been the problem area, but my opinion is that Fergie has complete faith in Cleverley that is. OT unfounded, and I still believe that Anderson could be brilliant. If you don't agree, at least you had a read before bed.

At least this time they signed some replacements BEFORE selling, however, unlike Van Persie whom they purchased two strikers and a winger to replace, you cannot replace Song with what they have now. He will have to buy someone. Devastating for Arsenal, however, it makes me smile.

Why does everyone want to sell nani we need nani we dont need to replace him with a player who isn't proven in the epl like munian or better yet the whole bilbao squad seeing as everyone thinks that they are now all world beaters because they outplayed a below par united side in the europa league nani is better than any player in the bilbao squad you could argue that llorente is a better player but he plays in a totally different way and possition to nani selling nani as I have said before is a mayjor step back imo after we have taken a big step forward after signing kagawa and rvp.
Arj
Agree1
Disagree0
Nani is worth more than 25m anyway. They are talking 30m+ for Rodriguez and he's a one season wonder. We should and I believe will keep Nani and all our top quality players. If we were to sell any first teamers I think it should be Young, then Hernandez, than Anderson, in that order. Though I feel we'll only sell Berbatov and maybe Macheda, with just an outside chance of Hernandez going, especially if henriquez comes and isn't loaned out. In fact getting Dembale with the cash from a sale of the Mexican would give our squad a little more balance and quality.

Ok boys now we have all got over the excitement of signing RVP and I am as excited as anybody as he is the world class type of player i have been wanting for ages. The thing is not since 1997 with Berg and Sherringham and then Berbatov has fergie paid more than 3 million for a player over the age of 27 always stating that he believes in youth. Does anybody think he believes he is running out of time and wants something to happen soon as he is looking into the future and knowing he won't be there that long. Little things are starting to add up. I AM KLOOT
Believable24

I just think it was a case of a world class player was available and that he was interested in joining our club. Like saf has said he can bring that experience and pass it on to welbz and chico. I do agree that saf's time may be coming to an end and thought the post about moyes had something in it. Im hoping larry white may be the next manager as ive got a wager on it. tom17
Agree0
Disagree0
He has said for the past couple of years that we have enough youth and could add an experienced pro for the younger lads to look up to, similar to what he done with Cantona and the class of 92.
However I do believe this is his final season and I wouldn't be surprised to see Blanc come in as the number two sometime this season.
Sydney!
Agree2
Disagree0
I think we needed to sign a worldclass player this transfer window for a number of reasons,
RVP is worldclass and as he was in the last year of his contract and was also 29 years old we got him for a price we could afford.
23 mill ish for a 29 year old in the last year of contract ,how much would he off cost if he had been 25 with a few years on his contract 40 mill?
I think to get the quality player fergy wanted we have had to widen the net so to speak.
that said i think its a great signing
jred
Agree0
Disagree0
Jred, if he had more than one year on his contract he wouldn't have been for sale. He purposely ran his contract down so he could leave the club.
There is no way he would have cost £40m had he had three years left on his deal. At 28 David Villa went for £34m. We paid top dollar because we were just as desperate as Arsenal was and AW knew that.
Sydney!
Agree0
Disagree0
Either tht or Saf like every ppl is constantly learning and adapting to the game. He saw lack of goals and he saw Hernandez 23, Welbeck 21, Macheda 20, W.keane 19 and they are lots of young potential striker who also needs a mentor. A striker of highest quality and experience. Not just tht he was at right age to also give chance for younger player in 2 or 3 years. Someone who actually wants to play for Us(unlike every nameless who used Man utd to make their transfer market value go up and their salary up, 6m agent fees?)
But Saf bought a player despite being injury prone on average over 8 year he produce 17.125 goals per years.
Dont get me wrong, i dont know any man who doesnt make mistake least of all SAF who has immaculate record and maybe he is getting desperate maybe not.
We all know and hate glazers for trying to squeezing every penny.
U need to lighten up.
I like most fan here, is very excited and looking forward for the season. Not to mention the enquiry about Witsel or Sahin, maybe even Dembele.
Red Samurai
Agree0

To be honest I think he is going to go at either the end of this season or end of the next so for a change Fergie isn't buying for the next 4-5 years he is buying for the now. Kagawa while young will make an immediate impact and RVP will do the same. We have the youngsters who could come good but right now we have plenty of players who can win us a game. Hoping for one more signing which is unlikely but if we sign either a left back or central midfielder we would look fantastic.

Or, Fergie always spends more when we lose a title/trophy.
I don't think that at 70 he's only just realised he's running out of (management) time.

Jred, sorry mate I missed that. Yes I agree he would cost £40m with a few years on his deal and if he peaked at 25. But to be fair he peaked at 27/28 and this was probably delayed due to his injuries. But yes if he was 25 now and had three years on his contract he would cost around £40m.

jred
Believable5
Unbelievable2
About a month or two ago Nani said something along the lines of there is more to football than playing in La Liga and the EPL. Many of us thought he meant Anzhi at the time, but if Nani is willing to go to Zenit or Anzhi and they offer a decent amount, then I can see the club accepting and Nani going. Perhaps £35m-£40m for Berbatov & Nani.
This would only be acceptable if we bring in a replacement for Nani though. With Hazard and Moura already gone, will we look to Rodriguez once more? Muniain or Isco? Or will the manager be happy with the attacking options and go for a LB and CM instead?

I think there is something there but not sure how they can do this. We know Rvp and kagawa can slot down the wing if nani was sold. If it does happen, I really think the only buy has to be Javi Martinez. I do not agree to all the Evra is no good stuff, I believe our lack of a combative midfield exposes our defense and puts too much pressure on our defense who are asked to go forward to create width.
