Don't forget Hamsik was playing for Napoli in the Roma game. I think De Rossi will be wanted at Real Madrid to maybe replace Alonso.

@It seems it's a foregone conclusion that he will sign which is great news as it give Fabio a few more years to improve. I would say it's minor details that need to be sorted out before he signs on the dotted line, it seems he's trying to get around 100k a week but United want him to settle on 90k a week.

I have watched this debate about Wilshere go on all day and imo if anyone on here states that Henderson, Rodwell or Chamberlain sp? are class and are going to be big players even for a team like us then you should all shut up and agree that Wilshere is already a top class player playing in a top team. Anyone that disagrees with that is a halfwit in my books.

Alot of you are saying he is over hyped and over rated? What about Chamberlain? Hes played half a season at Southampton in League 1 and the next thing he is good enough to get in our first team! The guy has played 25 games for god sake! there is no denying he has talent but in 18 months (which is how much older Wilshere is) can you see him starting in a top 2 team every week picking up club player of the months? (september 2010 for Wilshere)

Im not going to say he is world class by any means and i don't get the praise from the Barca game as I think only Koscelny sp? (suprisingly) and the GK deserve praise but the fact he is starting every game for our closest rivals at the minute surely shows everyone he is a top player. Even Owen Coyle Stated his admiration fo him and tried to get another loan for him. He also contributed into changing Boltons style of play change into a more passing/ footballing side.

In summary Wilshere- Already a top player. Anyone who disagrees with that and thinks Henderson, Rodwell, Etc are any better because they might end up joining us then they need to start looking out of the box and realise that Arsenal are a threat and they are playing their talented young midfielders where our Pogba, Morrison, Tunnicliffe etc are still playing reserve and u18's.
