Do you think we could get sahin from Madrid? May be wrong but he doesn't seem to play too often there and may welcome a move.

Young red.

He joined injured and still is if im not mistaken.

Don't think he still is injured, he was fit some time, at least.
Didn't play a whole lot, but Mourinho is a self-declared fan.
Can only see him moving back to Dortmund, to be honest.

With 1 appearance he may go down as the biggest flop ever.

just a quick question about the FFP.

Just read City are in for Gaitan and willing to pay the buyout clause of 35 million.
Aren't financial records tracked already since last summer (incl. last summers transfer period)?

As I understand it financial results are tracked for 3 years before the first consequences are taken, right?

And the clubs are "allowed" to have a deficit of € 45 million a year or between those 3 years ?!? if they exceed this they won't be admitted to the 2014/15 Champions League, does it affect Europa League as well?

Hasn't City already exceeded any leeway they might be given for the next 2 years already?

Do they count on the FFP rules not being enforced? Or are they planning to make a massive profit (by selling players) before 2014/15? But even then the summer period is counted towards the financial year afterwards, meaning they would have to make the massive profit in summer 2013.

Hope the FFP actually enforced, otherwise all those playing by the rules will be the ones f***ed by the UEFA

Jonny8 {Ed002's Note - The financial dealing are being tracked but there are no linitations on spending right now. By June 2014 when the rules can first be applied clubs will demonstrate that they are moving in the right direction. It would be a few years later before UEFA would try and make sanctions of any type - and they fear a breakaway pan european league (that has been discussed regularly) and that would eventually spell the end for UEFA. You would do best not to worry yourself over the FFP rules just yet.}

Thanks ED002 for the quick reply.

I thought it would be much stricter (see Andersred blog).
I can actually see the big clubs break away easier if the FFP are not enforced!
Can't see Bayern, United, Arsenal, even Chelsea! be happy if they are kind of punished (being less competitive after cleaning up their act and spending within their means) for honoring the FFP while teams like City and PSG are let off the hook.

I have no clue about Real and Barca, but can't see them being happy should they comply to the FFP rules and then see them not enforced.

I guess most of the teams talking/threatening to break away have an interest in the FFP being enforced, or am I wrong?

Thanks

Jonny8 {Ed002's Note - All the clubs (with one exception) want to keep costs to a minimum and support the FFP, the problem will come when UEFA try to invoke sanctions - but it will be down the line a way.}

The player may not want to go there anywhere. So it really doesn't matter. Remember the case of Alexis.

More reports that Pogba is going to sign for Juve this summer. Just wondering if any Eds knows what the situation with Paul is? Cheers.

Rudderpost {Ed001's Note - as far as I can find out it is just paper talk at the moment and he has nothing agreed with anyone.}

After lots of speculation over his future, this morning Italian newspaper Tuttosport have broke the news that “Juventus have got their hands on Paul Pogba.” Tuttosport are a newspaper in Italy with close contacts to Juventus and so there is a strong likelihood that this front page news is genuine

They also announced last year we had signed Wesley Sneijder, I remember as they were trending on Twitter. Is a load of rubbish.

You couldn't blame him if he went, if the likes of Anderson young gigs carrick are all in front of him
