Hi Eds, is there any interest in Lazio's Felipe Anderson? Thanks in advance.

{Ed002's Note - Firmino will very likely move from Hoffenheim in the summer with Barcelona (who would delay a move until January) Arsenal, Dortmund, Zenit and Schalke probably all interested. Manchester United have looked at him again. Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Shakhtar and Inter have dropped their previous interest. I am aware that Everton, Dynamo Kiev and Liverpool looked at Firmino last season but did not declare any interest with his agent. Roberto Firmino was previously subject of a rejected bid from Southampton.}

Just wondering if we have/are showing any interest in Daryll Janmaat of Newcastle ED?
He was a favourite of LVG at the World Cup and has gave a decent account for himself at the Toon.

Ed002 if you are around, with the likelihood of de gea leaving this summer, do you think its possible united will try use it as leverage in an attempt to sign bale?the thought of losing mata and de gea this summer is sickening. i'm not really looking forward to this summer. thanks as always.
{Ed002's Note - I would not be certain that both, or indeed either, will leave. Valencia have said they would want Mata back if he became available, but others may well also be interested. Also, I would not necessarily tie any transfer of Bale and De Gea together. The price Real Madrid are looking to achieve for Bale is extremely high and I am by no means sure there is any interest in him from Manchester United at this time. Even though it is common for clubs to discuss players as part of transfer deals, it fails to materialise in many cases. If for no other reason than perhaps a club does not want the other player, or perhaps the player is not keen. Long gone are the days where a player would be sold to a club without being involved in agreeing the move. So it is all possible but we will need to wait to see what happens.}

Mata for Otamendi?
The players swaps rarely happen and I can't seem to remember when united had one except for us loaning players like Campbell, Nani, etc as part of deals

eds- any truth to the valencia/mata rumours? Seems a bit crazy blowing £17m after so little time and with the possibility of 4th place he is at the very least an excellent squad player imo.
