A relation of one of the Editors sadly died a while back in a swimming pool, he was only 12, but could have been saved with a diffibulator. His father is trying to get support for an e-petition for diffibulators to be available in all public buildings. If this is something you consider worthwhile, perhaps you would think about signing it:

Not sure if I can but will try ....... Tragic story ....... Not 100% but here in Ireland I think it's law that all places of business and facilities in which members of the public can gain access too must have a defib on site ......... Not too long ago I was walkin tru Dublin city centres Grafton street when a middle age man just dropped clutching his chest wit in minutes a guy ran from a shop close buy an had a defib an began to administer the treatment till the professional arrived ........ The paramedic was sayin it is the law here which I tought was a fantastic but was not sure if it's true .... Wil try find out ........any how my condolence an support are there's ....

Anything which can help save lives, especially when they're so young, certainly has my support, and I echo the previous post in passing on my best wishes to the Ed involved.

Looks like Mapou Yanga Mbiwa is off to Newcastle for under 7m. Bargain.

I think this is good news for us. Players like M'Vila and now Mbiwa who are of interest to us are now coming into the league - we can therefore see how well they perform and then in a year or two make our move. As I have always said, sometimes we would rather pay a larger fee further down the line than take too many risks. If Mbiwa performs well, shows his versatility then I am surethat we will have an interest as he would fit in well with the current crop.

exclusive ' : fergie set to watch zaha against bolton at saturday

Believable18 Unbelievable10

Instead of wasting time sat on his arse watching, just get him signed b4 somebody else comes in for him, like always happens with our targets, he must have seen enough scouting reports by now, a joke our club when it comes to transfer business.

A joke when we've got supporters like you Big Al!

Our transfer business is so terrible that this team we currently have (i.e our transfers) have the highest points tally we've ever had after 22 games.

Early days yet fellow red, lets see at end of the season cuz this squad isn't strong enough in my opinion.

Some supporters haven't got a clue!

Zaha looks like he has potential and he played well against us last season, but there are many better players out there. Time to stop the obsession with wingers and strikers and get a couple of midfielders of high quality, ie Wanyama/Strootman/Witsel etc. I hope if Zaha comes he does well, but at this time I feel he will pad the squad out, rather than star in the team

I'm not bothered either way if he signs or not but I do want a quality get you off your seat kind of winger, nani can do it but not consistently, young is just awful and Valencia just doesn't look right this year

Dustbin

I agree with big al in this case, zaha would've been watched endless times!
need to stop fannying around and just buy him if we want him!

Ed, is Chelsea the only likely destination for Benat? Or do you think we could have a say come the end of the season as he is perfect to replace Scholes.

RD19 {Ed002's Note - Atletico Madrid, CSKA, Chelsea, Fenerbahce, Arsenal, PSG and Wolfsburg have shown interest in Benat. Txiki Begiristain has, as reported, an interest in taking him to Manchester City. It is beginning to look like the summer would be more likely.}

Ed do you think that if Valencia's leg length problem can't be fixed and his form doesn't pick up he may be made available in the summer? Zaha could be one winger brought in to replace Nani, but could we be looking at another to replace Valencia?

Fresh! {Ed002's Note - I have little or no knowledge of his legs. Manchester United has had interest in wide players for some time - but the prices have been very high.}

Fergies even stated that's he's had a back problem this year and he's not fully fit he's probably around 60% valencia will pick his form up i'm sure. like a few players in the team he just needs to stay fit and play games.. along with anderson/young and most of our defence lol

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe that man united will sell Valencia and try for viktor fichser
