Rumour has it that Mourinho has told Real Madrid to sell Benzema to Man United and Aguero is being lined up as the replacement. .

Any truth ED??? {Ed007's Note - According to reports in Spain, you are spot on. This is the calibre of player Utd should be looking at IMO and at least he's better than Jelavic!!}

@ Nico.

I think that the player, sadly may be Young? I hear that Young wants to go to United and is holding off talks between himself and Liverpool in order to see if Man United will come knocking.

An observation more than a rumour - You can now order United's new home kit via the official website, when the list pops up to choose a name/number on the back - Scholes 18 is not an option. . .

Hi guys - Ive had an update tonight and will tell you what Ive been told - I don't know which player this is in relation to but app another club have given us permission to talk to their player before the Transfer Window opens officially as they know the player only wants utd. App the club, player and agent are all on board with this. As I said don't know who but if I was guessing I would guess this can only be a fellow prem league club and if I was to guess further I would guess Spurs re Modric. We do have a really good relationship with them and I think Harry would help SAF and we have been after Modric before and we know he wants C/L football. personally I will be crossing my fingers and hoping it is Modric but as I said I don't know who the player is I'm just guessing.Nico.

@ Id be concerned about getting Pastore. Always a risk with S.Americans playing to their full potential in the EPL. With the exceptions of course.

People are posting absolute rubbish. Sir Alex already said 3 signings, so a GK will be one, Sneijder I imagine will be another, and possibly either Benzema or Sanchez, although it looks likely that the latter will join City. Varane will be seen as one for the future, therefore outwith the "3 signings"

This is what SAF said. And I quote;

"We have some ideas in mind, " the United boss told MUTV at the annual United's awards ceremony at Old Trafford. "Hopefully we can get them put in place.

"We have Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes coming towards the end of their careers, Gary Neville has already retired and Edwin van der Sar is retiring, so there are holes we want to plug up in terms of the safety and security of the team for the next few years.

"Of course, we have some excellent young players and a lot of them have progressed, which gives us a great, powerful squad.

"I am looking at maybe three signings which would boost our overall quality in our team."

@He uses the word 'TEAM', not 'SQUAD'.

Any idea who will replace G.Nev in the squad?"

@Yes, Rafael, O'Shea, Evra & Fabio are enough cover for RB & LB. Valencia can play RB if needed. Even Cleverley can play RB or LB.

Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly ready to sell Karim Benzema.

It is understood that Manchester United have already made a tentative offer for the France international.

Marca claims Mourinho has told Real directors to invite bids for the striker as he chases Atletico Madrid star Sergio Aguero.

Real are already in contact with Atletico in an attempt to negotiate down the price they are demanding for Aguero who has been advised to move on by his father-in-law, Diego Maradona.

Real are looking to tie up a deal quickly so they can ship out Benzema.

just posted what it said, what do you guys make of this?

I think he would be the end for Berbatov at United. That said i would welcome a player like him at United. Hernandez made a huge impact in his first season but his link up play and general play is just average. Benzema could be a more technical and skillfull player to have upfront and with a lot more pace and dribbling ability than Berbatov has.

A strikeforce like Rooney, Hernandez, Benzema and Welbeck for next season would be great.

But i don?Ç t think we?Ç ll be in for him. Heard Arsenal and Juventus are after him with some serious interest.

"{Ed002's Note - A new GK, CB, MF and winger.}"

I disagree Ed! i think Szeczny is more than good enough to be their number 1 and i think he will be the Arsenal Number 1.

The others I agree with and i can also see another Forward being signed seeing as Chamahk isn't scoring, Bendtner doesn't know how to shoot and Van Persie is always injured.

I don't think Cesc will leave either, I really don't think Barcelona will pay £40+ Million for him this summer.

"Ed, Seeing as Nasri isn't signing a new deal and they're likely to sell him where do you think he will go?

Barcelona have Pedro on that side.
Real have Di Maria
Juventus was Drenthe
City have Silva
City don't use 'wide men'
Liverpool probably won't even bother.

Is there a chance of us looking at him?
We've got a fairly decent relationship with Arsenal when it comes to Transfers and seeing as they value Cesc at £40 Million i can't see Nasri being much more than £30 Million.

Food for thought?"

The Moon. {Ed002's Note - I very much doubt any interest.}

@Nasri will sell for less than £20m, he has one year left on his contract and Arsenal will not let him leave for free in a years time. He will be sold along with Cesc & Arshavin.

Ramsey, Wilshere & Miyashi will be more than capable replacements, but I expect Arsenal to strengthen too. Ed, what can you see happening at Arsenal this summer?

Ed002's Note - Maybe he wants to retire from the game? I cannot guess at who will be signed but Verane appears to be one of the players.}

I've been thinking the same thing Ed, varane seems nailed on but is being dismissed on this site as not one of the three signings, when saf spoke last night he said a couple of signings then maybe three, I think it's de gea/ Adler, young and varane, that's it, not my choice just what I believe will happen.

{Ed002's Note - Either way "one of the three" is irrelevant. So the suggestion is "three signings plus some others" then?}

Full marks to Vidic, not only should you have won player of the year award as you led the team by example and you were an absolute rock in Europe, but Mrs Vidic is top drawer as well. No wonder Fergie made you captain.

As for Nani, he should win frustration of the year as he obviously has the talent but struggles when asked to play on the left hand side now that Tony V is back and I think that may cost him his place in the starting line up against Barcelona.

I would like to have seen VDS win one of the awards as it is no coincindence the amount of finals we have been in with him in the nets. He has been a true great and is the one thing that will give other teams hope for next season.

I notice some of you on here getting excited because Judas Gill was saying we are going to be making quality signings. Well what did you expect him to say, that we were buying rubbish?

The boss looked really happy last night and I loved his comment yesterday about wishing he had taken the banner into Anfield. And those mugs think Dogleash is going to somehow change things. Fergie has wanted to rub your noses in it for twenty odd years and he isn't going to change.

On the pitch we are seeing the best of times. A superb youth team. Another Premier title and another European final and why because we BELIEVED.

Off the field is for discussion in the summer. I am really hoping you can hammer me by telling me about all these stella signings we will make.

Scott Parker to Man Utd in the next 2-3 weeks. Price will be around 9-11million

I personally think this signing with Ashley young and Sanchez would be great and would work so well with Rooney and Hernandez (Spelling) and see us off to a flyer next season.

Would love to see Sneider at OT but really can't see that happening, but if it does WOW we will be strong

So waking up to the fantastic news that Fergie has stated he does want to add 3 to the squad in the summer. To which one is a BIG NAME. Obviously a GK was always going to be top priority with VDS going so I still think De Gea is a cert. The other signings in my opinion are dependent on what happens within our current squad. If Berbatov leaves then I expect a striker to come in and as usual there are plenty of options. I'm hoping that even if Berbatov does leave we still sign a CM and a winger/ striker. The CM is vital for us and there are again plenty of options there are 2-3 who are constantly linked (Modric, Sneijder, Rodwell) and there are also others. Modric in recent weeks has looked even better than usual so he at the moment looks like the best option because he can play in both a 4-3-3 and a 4-4-2. We don't want to end up doing a Spurs and buying a top quality player (Van der Vaart) if we buy Sneijder and the be limited to one formation if he plays. the winger/ striker is between Hulk and Sanchez though I am hoping Goetze is still being considered. So for me a perfect summer would be:

De Gea
Varane
Modric
Hulk

In reply to;

David de Gea, done deal according to a reliable source at Carrington!

@ Yep exactely what I heard and posted the other day, He will announce it at the end of the current season but have no fear he is on his way. Really looking forward to seeing him in pre-season has the ability to be a star. As for other players coming in I give up. I hear one thing one day and another the next! Last I heard we had a deal in place for Sanchez but it remains to be seen if other clubs try to outbid us, the one good thing is he has told his agent/ s he wants United more than any other club which is good.

It seems we are very close to sealing the deal for young Varane, he will be one for the future. I think the three quality signings will be De Gea, a central midfielder & a striker. It's anyone's guess who the central midfielder & striker will be.

Sydney!

So your dismissing varane as one of the three signings, apparently he's 10 mill, hope your right because I believe that we will sign young and if you take varane as one of the three with a goalie that's it and I believe we need at least one more outfield first team player
