hey ed have you heard about Ryan Gauld he's apparently been linked with utd. he is a really good player and really hope he goes to utd. In 3 years he and januazj can rip the premiership apart. {Ed007's Note - He's a good young player but he would be better staying where he is for the time being. Plus Dundee Utd have supposedly put a £5m price on his head, which is just plain crazy.}

Cheers ed never knew about the 5m that way to much I guess we will just have to see what happends

I think the boy is an outstanding Scottish talent, and it would make sense for Moyes to go after him.I can't see why staying at Dundee will further his development I should imagine coming to old Trafford would be the making of him, Moyes has always fancied a few of his own countrymen in the squad team and now he has someone other than Fletcher who has the ability to make it here (all be it a year or two down the road) but the boy looks like he can go on to be an all time great you don't play under 21s at 17 score and play regular for your first team unless you are outstanding I would say he looks a even better prospect than Hilalovic who is a similar player but Guald for me looks like he has better vision and reading of the game and would probably be very easily acquired

Bot over the top there Kate, all time great? I think Patrick Roberts is a bigger talent, but no doubt the kid looks a good player.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok a little quick to say how good he can become but god only knows how long Scotland have been over due a world class talent. Also I think a Scottish manager would get the best out of a Scottish player its just how thing are for what ever reason and he could be the one I would say 5m is worth a flutter if that's all it is. imagine he has more chance of justifying it than Bebes transfer

Agree0 Disagree0

Being overdue for a world class talent doesn't mean he'll be one. Scotlands youth team is much less competitive than Englands, you'll find that Feruz also played for Scotland U21s as a 17 year old last year. I think the kid could be a very good player but I'm not sure he'll be world class let alone an all time great. There are other talents like him in England that are just as good but have more competition ahead of them to break through into senior football. Look at Patrick Roberts, Dan Crowley and our very own James Wilson for example.

I've seen a lot of posters on this site mentioning Gundongan as an ideal Summer signing. I'm just wondering how attainable he really is?

I've seen the latest Andy Green blog where he mentions that we can compete with the Barcalona's, the Bayerns, the PSG's et al, however, will Gundongan really move to Old Trafford instead of Madrid, Barcelona or another big European club.

I don't mean to be negative, and the player is exactly what is needed in our midfield but will he really come? {Ed002's Note - It looked like Gundogan would be sold this past summer and there was interest from Rubin Kazan and Manchester City. However, with Goetze going a season before expected, Dortmund were always going to look to keep the player and are looking to negotiate a new deal with him. It had been suggested that Manchester United might try and strike a deal for the player this summer that is not activated until next summer - that always seemed unlikely to me. Both Barcelona and Arsenal spoke with his agent but made no approach to Dortmund. Enquiries to his club have been made by Chelsea and Real Madrid.}

Bit of a random question here Ed, but can you see Messi leaving Barca any time soon (next year or two perhaps)? Heard murmurings that it's not quite as rosy as it once was at Barca for him.? {Ed002's Note - I think it very unlikely.}

Cant see that ever happening but I would imagine if he was to come to England united would be the ideal place

More money will make everything alright.
