Over the last few days we've been linked with Lucas Paqueta at Flamengo, any info on this Ed? Apparently we are looking at a January deal, can't say I've ever heard him really. Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - It is an interesting question and I am surprised no one has aked before - but I guess few seem interested in transfers nowadays - just whining. Lucas Paqueta has been watched recently by Manchester United (or more precisely, on behalf of Manchester United) after advice taken from a third party. There was interest from several parties in the summer but the only direct approaches for the player I was aware of then were from Benfica (who can't afford him) and Milan (who had struggled to get the attacking midfield player they wanted and made an approach - but due to their finances and what they have to spend they would need to sell Suso to make it viable - but interest does remain still as we move in to the new season. Manchester City, Chelsea and Real Madrid all looked at the player on more than one occasion but none has shown any interestedntaking it any further at this time - he would be a replacement for David Silva at Manchester City but they have yet to agree how and when he will exit the club - and would he get game time? There is now interest growing from elsewhere with PSG looking at him as a more attacking midfield player than Rabiot who will be leaving, but space would need to be made by a side that is overrun with wingers at this time and having to play people out of position. Barcelona have had him watched and may look again now that Coutinho has taken Portuguese citizenship - although UEFA could yet object.}

In your opinion ed, is he worth a punt? (I have no info on him beyond you tube) and if so, how much do you expect him to cost the buying club?

{Ed002's Note - No, the feeling of some who have looked at him is that the English game would not suit a player interested primarily in tricks. You can see him end up in the stands on a regular basis. I would rather stay away from the finances for a while on the MU pages.}

Cheers ed, he does seem like a Nani type on YouTube.

Not suited to our league and specially our style of play. And I think he likes to play on the left wing. Everything we don't want, so basically it's a done deal.
