Fox fans on the club forum have been saying a swap is on the cards. Lingard has been getting a lot of stick unfairly from Leicester fans. It seems Powell has been training with them the last few weeks (don't know how true that is ) it's from the fans forum. He hasn't been at O.T the last few weeks. Tunnicliffe has been on the bench recently in his place. Apparently he's getting to know the players, coaches, facilities ect. Good loan move if true. Feel sorry for Lingard but his deal was till January.

With Henriquez going to Wigan & Bebe back to Portugal do you think anyone else will be out the door?

Rumours about Macheda to Spain for instance.

Maybe with Lingard returning it's time for Cole to try his luck in the Championship on loan.

Would Brady benefit from half a season in the Prem on loan?

What about the forgotten "New Totti" Petrucci?

I think so many players would be better off on loan from January.

Please comment on who you'd like to see on loan & what team would be right for them & why.

I live in Leicester and have a bit of an inside track from a friend in the local paper.

Apparently Pearson struck a deal with SAF a while back, during his first tenure with Leicester, with regards blooding young MUFC talent and getting first refusal on players that aren't in SAF's plans... the Leicester team is full of former MUFC players... Drinkwater, Marshell, De Laet etc, etc.

The general gossip is that the Foxes will take Powell and send back Lingard this transfer window, he hasn't settled into the military style training methods that Pearson administers.

When first bought, Petrucci had a similar playing style to Totti, but after his injury he was moulded into a deep lying hard tackling midfielder. I would say more Xabi Alonso/ Pirlo than Totti.

Powell, Petrucci, Tunicliffe, Brady, Keane and Henriquez should all be sent out on loan to a bottom PL/ or top championship clubs.

Macheda, Bebe and King should be loaned out with a possibility to buy.

lampard yes cole no {Ed004's Note - I would say No to both}

Why would we want either. Don't let the 2 goals he scored make you believe he is still a good player. He spent most of his time playing like a striker in that match. His passing is piss poor now he wouldn't fit well into our team.

With the good relations of united and Wigan in recent years regarding transfers I'm almost certain that we will see James McCarthy at old Trafford this summer.

Believable20 Unbelievable63

Are u serious im irish and i dont rate him at all hes good enough 4 wigan but not utd youd get isco strootman 4 the same price and much better

Agree0 Disagree1

McCarthy is so so far below United quality! We are trying to keep up with the likes of Madrid, Barca, Bayern and City! Can you imagine how much we would laugh if any of those sides put a bid in for this very average Wigan Player. TomJP

I would question the intelligence of knocking a player we are about to play, they have a habit of making you eat your words.

some twaddle on the guardian site that real madrid want david de gea, for 22million, then continues to suggest Ronaldo, is available and wouldn't cost us 122 million as a deal with de gea and nani and supposedly some cash. think thats a bit silly.

however would love to see victor wanyama, and xisco come in young stars who can fit in now.

Believable25 Unbelievable4

Xisco is the ex current newcastle player i presume you mean isco
