according to italian sports chat roma owner thomas dibenedetto has said that he is far in to discussions with Manchester United over utd signing midfielder de rossi for a undisclosed fee tho the de rossi is yet to speak to utd as he is currantly on holiday prepearing for meetin up with the italian squad!

talks are set to begin with player mid june. this is all from the owner himself! must be some truth in it! tho he also said that there has been intrest from 3 more english clubs an 1 italian club an a turkish team! so hes not a utd player yet!

michael owen signing new deal tells me everything i already new is that our days of spending big are over forget schneijder, modric, sanchez we will bring in players that in my oponion are not as good as we have ie.young, adam and varane so please don't think we are signing modric we don't have the money

Just read a rumour that Real Madrid are ready to sell Gonzalo Higuain for 15 million if that's true then surely Benzema is going nowhere. .

Should we go for Higuain at that price?

Michael Owen has a new contract; looks like Ashley Young is going to join; todays papers are saying that we are lining up a bid for Charlie Adam. Is the quality we need to move towards Barca?? I think not.

I hope that the rumours on Young/Adam are wide of the mark (or just adding squad players who will only play in cup games).

We need a world class replacement for Hargreaves and Scholes, a top striker to replace Berbatov, and a centre/left back as cover for the current players IMO.

I would like to se Seb Schweinsteiger, Luka Modric, Wes Sneijder and Phil Jones signed. Fat Chance!

my friend's uncle apparently works for the Liverpool echo cos my mate is scouse but supports everton and i asked about jack rodwell and he said nothing has be offered but his uncle told him he is 95 % sure we have Ashley. don't know if he knows something or just his opinion cos i am pretty sure he would know if liverpool where close to signing him if he does work there.

United now need to replace 2 midfielders. Obviously Scholes after his retirement - farwell to the legend, but also Hargreaves. When Barca were defeated on route to Moscow, Hargreaves was phenomonally good at containing Xavi & Iniesta. Since then we haven't gotten anywhere near them.
For Scholes I think the names banded about so far would do a good job - Modric, Sneijder, Pastore or Ganso, but all of these would need some protection in midfield to play their attacking game. De Rossi, Xabi Alonso or Schweinsteiger would do an excellent job in this respect. My preference would be Xabi Alsonso or Schweinsteiger. Could we sign either of these guys?

Xabi alsonso loves liverpool far to much to come united, if he would return to the epl it would be to liverpool or a team that offered stupid amount of wages!

{Ed002's Note - Not huge investment at all. They are an investment business and throwing large amounts of money at PSG will not improve the value that much. They will be looking at getting sustained growth and eventually a return in investment. No other news of note.}

One central defender, one striker (backup), and 2 midfielders will be signed along with De Gea.

7.Owen (SAF might give him one year, though highly unlikely)
9.Definitely (Away from english football)

Sanchez is almost certain as one of the 2 midfielders, it won't be schneider or modric as spurs are demanding way to high.
So Nasri is the available option.
