One thing that I have noticed since RVP has joined the club is that we are starting to score again from set plays, particularly corners. Nani and everyone else who has tried to take them has been useless, but with Robin I think we finally have someone who is good with a dead ball. Our corners to goals ration will only continue to improve once Vidic and Smalling are back. Long may it continue!

We have 6 so far this season!

I think if we do win the league RVP will be the one that made the difference. He always manages to make a poor cross (Evra's cross) into a superb goal. Looking forward to him and Rooney this season.

Evra's cross ?? When are you talking about ?

Against Fulham, when Van Persie scored that amazing goal from Evra's pathetic cross.

Really starting to like the link up of Rooney and RVP -was desperate for RVP to join us as he's imo one of the best strikers in the world and the best in the PL but i had my doubts that both Rooney and RVP could play together, SAF seemed to have doubts as he kept them apart due to Kagawa - i understand rooney wasnt 100% fit then got injured but since his return, we have been electric going forward, the problem with me is the defence, get that sorted and we'll be sorted :)

How good was RVP today Absolutley outstanding his passing and his cross for Rooney was sensational! He scored a great goal very happy going forward as soon as jones or smalling gets back in the team we will be ok, welbeck was great too along with Rooney and van Persie stoke couldn't handle our movement! Great game, anderson looked sharp too!

Anderson showed us exactly what we were missing, a midfielder willing to get the ball and make a forward run.

Only downside is the form of Ferdinand. Unfortunatly i feel its time for him to move on.

That's what I thought when watching the game I think it's time for rio to hang up the boots.

No cover in front of Back 4. Carrick was his useless self again today. He can't tackle and is not strong in the air. Why he is actually playing ahead of others baffles me....

Carrick is not to blame if a player(kightly) runs through three players our defenders are not good enough Ferdinand is a good ball player but is really bad defending and Johnny Evans does him no justice jones and vidic with smalling playing a good bit too wer laughing jones ain't a midfielder...

Ps. I think Anderson should play before scholes or carrick gives us more variety to create trouble

Agree1 Disagree1

Maybe jones isnt a midfielder but i reckon smalling could do a good job as a dm. strong enough to bully players off the ball good in the air quite quick when he gets going and a good tackler

Agree2 Disagree1

Personally I would replace Carrick with Ando. He's as good a tackler and can play at a faster pace.
