Espn soccernet reports - “ Manchester United have offered Juventus €13m for Mirko Vucinic. The Montenegro striker has been pushed down the pecking order in Turin after the arrivals of Fernando Llorente and Carlos Tevez and Corriere Dello Sport say Vucinic is looking for a move. ” ------WHAT?

I saw somewhere that united were in for him before

Total rubbish. We don't need another striker. It's evident from what moyes been saying that we will only play with one up front next season and kagawa in role behind. Even if Rooney left, we still got Hernandez and wellbeck as cover behind RVP. Main priority is to beef up midfield with creativity.

Guys,
I have not submitted a rumour for a few month, but read the site a few times a day. Little rumour I have heard is we will switch to alonso if fabregas does not come off. I have a good friend that lives in Madrid, and this has been doing the rounds over there for 24 hours. Don't shoot the messenger. Hope cesc is successful, but alonso wouldn't be a bad buy in my opinion!

Don't know if we would go for alonso but hey! Things been so weird this transfer window won't be suprise if we do but we will see. I don't think he would be that bad as he can really state his presence in a midfield but I'd rather go for a couple other midfielders than alonso

Wouldn't want him.

Alonso is still a class player, would love to see him at United. Would have preferred him a few years ago to be honest. Fabregas would be my first choice out of the two due to Alonso's age, but I wouldn't say no to him. By far Liverpool's biggest mistake was to let him go

Ofc it would be worth it just to get up the scousers noses
Agree0

Alonso is a totally different kind of midfielder to Cesc. He's a deep laying play-maker, pretty much similar in style to Carrick. Whereas it would be good to buy 2 midfielders, an attacking one and a ball winner, I can't see any advantage in buying a player nearing his 32nd birthday.

Age is just a number. Alonso doesn't rely on pace and could easily have another 5 years in him. He would no doubt improve our squad - decent passer but doesn't mind getting stuck in too.
However I don't know about him being an alternative to Cesc, both would be ideal.

I think ronaldo returning home is a dream that must be forgotten. If he will return then i`ll be the happiest man on earth but its not happening. He will sign new contract at RM his agent is working on all the details with RM, as confirmed with ancelotti

What planet are you on fella?

Blackpool have a better chance of signing wayne rooney than we have of resigning ronaldo. Would be the happiest man ever if it happened but his agent and RM are negotiating a new contract.

Hi Bfro,
Where have you got this from, I was looking for details of what he has been offered but couldn't find anything but I had heard it was supposed to be the biggest contract ever.

They said he is a backup winger for Lennon and Bale because of his versatility

Bale isn't a winger. Bale plays centrally so Spurs have bought what they need.
Sydney!

Madrid can't afford him unless they raise the funds and with CR7 just being offered a new contract that won't be easy to do Bale will be a Spurs player this season unless United go in for him.

Well if Bale stays he'll be playing through the middle no?
Agree0

My personal opinion is I think there's a good chance Bale will go this summer. Who too is another story, but I have a feeling he will go this year. As for wether he's worth that sum of money, maybe he is in today's market? We've seen Falcao, cavani etc moving for £50m ish, so at Bales age maybe he is. You have to think of they're marketing power to these clubs, they can make millions

United are in a far better state financially that RM for this summer window.

How exactly can't Real Madrid afford that. Their revenue from tv rights alone is circa £120m a season, never mind their commercial activities. If they want Bale they can afford him.
Agree1
Disagree4
No name poster Real Madrid can't afford Bale even with their massive TV revenue because the still owe the Spanish banks double that due to the way they used to do their business until the banks had to stop it because of the serious financial trouble the country is in which is why they are looking to do swap deals where possible and looking to sell any players to raise funds ie sell Higuain buy Suarez.
Stew4d

Can't see real buying bale without selling ronnie. Plus they've already spent a boatload of cash on isco and mendi
Agree1
Disagree0
Bale is playing through the middle for spurs, chadli was bought as a lw. Bale will be a spurs player this season 100% no matter who puts in a offer. Do you really think FIFA would've put him on the cover and promoted thier game with Bale in a spurs shirt if there wasn't assurances he would be staying at spurs?
Agree0
Disagree3
So its now a video game that decides he stays. So if spurs receive an offer for 100m levy will turn round and say we could really do a lot with that money but we told ea that he's staying sorry.
Agree0

Dont forget a few years back when Rooney had his hair transplant EA recalled every copy just to re adjust his hair so a shirt change wouldn't be too big for them

No but Spurs just signed a winger, Nacer Chadli. not sure if that has any relevance.

Not if that previous post is accurate in saying he wants to play centrally next season.
Agree0

Doubt that has anything to do with the sale of Bale, as I expect him to be deployed in a more central role this coming season.
Agree0
Disagree0
Bale has said he want to play more centrally, maybe as a second striker! With spurs' new signing it maybe a replacement for bale as a winger, but not because he is getting replaced in the team.
Agree1

Bale will not leave Spurs this summer!he is fully committed to them. Anyway I think we should put the money into Ronaldo to get him home!

Believable4
Unbelievable17
Are we in for Shaqiri? I have not read this anywhere. As for Modric, the focus is on Fabregas for the time being. If that falls through then we will pursue Modric.
Agree0

Fresh what makes you so certain we'll 'pursue' Modric if we fail to sign Fabregas?
Shaqiri is very very unlikely even IF we were interested. He only joined Bayern a year ago, he's Robben's replacement doubt he'd want to leave anytime soon especially with the squad Pep is building there.

The only reason Utd are going all out for Cesc. Is that RVP and Moyes do not see eye to eye and he would not have left Arsenal if Moyes would have been manager FACT. Baines is 50/50, The only first team signings to come (if they come) will be cesc and Baines.

I ain't defending the post, but in a way if I was RVP or Kagawa I'd thought I'd be working with SAF for a couple of years at least myself. However, this is football and anything can change.
We may have a new manager (we all know my feelings there) but its still Man Utd! Moyes won't change Utd, Utd will change him.

Well the truth is, he moved and worked with Fergie for a year, probably the best single career of his life getting the golden boot again while winning the PL title for a first time! He knows everyone in the team well now and knows he's got a much better chance of winning trophies at United under Moyes than Arsenal or anywhere in the Prem.
Ozwald

Zoop what makes you think RVP doesn't get on with Moyes?
Agree0

I would have thought that at only 4cm difference in height, that Moyes and RVP would be able to see eye to eye quite easily, unless Moyes is stood in a hole (or RVP on a box)!1
Agree0
Disagree0
Must be a good friend of RVP or moyes to know that they don't get along. all I can say is that moyes knows the importance of RVP to united hence why he wore the armband when he came on in Saturdays match. you don't just pass the armband onto anybody the only person causing problems with moyes and the club is rooney thinks he's better than united now so I would cash in.
C19LAV
Agree1

I think its pretty likely that RVP would not have joined us if he knew Fergie was going. Its even more likely that he wouldn't have joined us had he known Moyes would be the replacement.
See what's happening in the transfer market now, or more accurately what's NOT happening? Top players want to work for top managers, not no name nobodies with zero success. Moyes has ZERO pulling power in the transfer market. The ONLY thing that counts is the United name. And that's sometimes not enough.
Agree0
Disagree0
Our players are not persons. They would have known fergs only had a couple more years left in him. Robin came to play for united, not for SAF. As amazing as SAF is, it is all about the club not the manager.
Agree0
Disagree0
So for all you people that say rvp moved to work with fergie the players would have been told at some point and they can't mind that much, their still in a united shirt
