THIS SUMMER I WAS READING A PORTUGGESE NEWSPAPER IN LISBON AND SAW THAT 20 YEAR OLD SPORTING LISBON STRIKER WILSON EDUARDO IS COMING TO THE THEARTE OF DREAMS. IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY WE PUT 10m PRICE TAG ON HIM FOR JANUARY WHICH THEY'VE ALREADY ACCEPTED! !

Don't be so ridiculous, he is not good enough to make the Sporting first team at the age of 20, United may buy him but it will not be for anywhere near 10m, it would be closer to the 2m mark mate.

Yes it is one of my fears that we get Carlos Queirozzzzzzzzzzz back I think Fergie would like him or Moysie to take over when he moves upstairs as he could still hold onto the reigns. I know for definate that we offered Everton 15 Million for Rodwell and they just laughed as they have secured him up to long term contract. A figure closer to 25 would be accepted. Sniejder is an obvious United player but we don't have the money. In the past we would have just gone out and bought Bale and Modric from Spurs but now they can say no and we have no financial clout. Fergie will keep giving these press conferences where he talks about the need to buy young as there is no value in the market which every one knows is a pile of rubbish. Given the financial state of the club and not knowing how long Fergie has got left, which superstar player would join us a the moment. VDV said playing for anyone but us would be a step down, but he had to take that step and joined spurs as we just weren't interested. Why? RAINFISHTROMBONE

@With VDV now, do Spurs really need Modric? and would Levy want to cash in on someone who they do not really need, i am not saying he is not as good as VDV because i would say hes better but he could make Spurs a quick buck or two, they already have a wealth of replacements.

A 20m offer maybe too much for Levy to turn down, especially as i hear Spurs want to try and sign 30m rated Suarez, although he will go for 20m.

Hey seagull, could the player from germany be a one piotr trochowski, was the only other name i heard from das germans apart from ozil. what about modric to utd because spurs bought in rvdv.
