Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba could give himself a birthday treat next month and sign a deal with Juventus.
The teenager has an offer from the Serie A side, according to reports in Italian paper La Gazzetta dello Sport, and could put pen to paper on March 15 when he celebrates his 19th birthday.
The four-year-deal, that is in the hands of the player's agent Mino Raiola, would offer the Frenchman an improvement of his current Old Trafford wage.

As far as I can find out that's not true ! I believe Papers are putting 2+2 together and saying he must have a contract ready to go to Juventus ! Mino Raiola has strong links with Juventus and I believe he is a fan of them (can't a man go watch his favourite team play?), doesn't mean he has a contract offer.

Here's also a question, what would everyones reaction be to us gettin in Gaitan and Garcia for a combined fee of 35m-40m Euros? Would be the two types of players we were looking for and not breaking the bank as such.

Well for a start they are familure with eachother, both good players and 35million euros isn't actually all that much in the grand scheme of things. At that price we could get one or two others in as well.

It wouldn't be my preferred pairing necessarily, but we have to be a realistic and that looks to be a realistic deal.

Benfica would want more than that for those two

See I prefer this way as we forge a team as opposed to buying stars with hype around them. Like you said we could the buy a few more, possibly younger talents we could break through. Would I prefer a more established star, of course. I do think this would be good business though.

I don't see why they would, what have either of them done to warrant such a high price tag. They could easily replace them as they always do year on year in the portuguese league, those 35m prices for Gaitan are way off in my eyes.
