With reports of £104m losses coming out, will we be hit really hard by the fair play rules when they come in (if the Glazers don't go)? Or is it not that straight forward?

Heard Kuszczak will be sold to Zenit rather than Galatasaray as a makeweight in a deal for Danny who Ferguson has been admiring for sometime.

Galatasaray believe they are closing in on Manchester United goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak - but Zenit St Petersburg are also interested.

Polish goalkeeper Kuszczak will leave Old Trafford in the summer, with Sir Alex Ferguson eager to sign a new goalkeeper to replace the retiring Edwin Van Der Sar.

Anders Lindegaard has already been signed but is seen as a second-choice goalkeeper, with United ready to land a successor to the retiring Dutchman.

It leaves Kuszczak, who has made just 27 league starts in five years at the club, ready to move on and Turkish side Galatasaray are in pole position to land him.

The club are currently languishing in 11th in the Turkish League and want to overhaul their squad this summer - but Russian side Zenit are eager to approach United for Kuszczak as well.

{Ed002's Note - It is an issue surrounding his "buy out" clause that is causing a problem. It was set high as a trade off for higher wages based on an expectation of higher advertising revenue to pay for it. Santos did the same with Neymar previously. Chelsea have switched their attentions more in the direction of Neymar as Ganso has a significant nuisance factor associated with him. The real interest is from Inter Milan but they are baulking at the price. Ganso has declared his affection for Inter (as he has done for a number of clubs) and I think he could well end up there. Manchester United do not seem to be high-profile in this matter at this time. This could well be another prolonged transfer process.}

@I cannot see him being a top target for United as he would be a huge gamble for such a high price. With a 50m euro buy-out clause he would probably sell for a bare minimum of £25m. It's a lot of money to spend on a player which may or may not make it at the club. He is a top talent though.

Thanks for the info on him Ed!

It looks likely that the CM whos deal is almost done is Ganso doesn't it?

Please don't anyone think that this is correct just yet.}

@Ed, we know Chelsea are interested in Ganso but do you know of any strong interest by United? Rumour has it that we inquired about him whilst Possebon went the other way, but got knocked back. Can you tell us any info on Ganso?

Hopefully its Adler. Neuer altho good but imo not as good as Adler. Plus Adler putting the clause in only for us was a big signal to our management that this is where he wants his future to be.

Lets hope we make it so!

Neuer is by far the best keeper in Germany for the last 2 years. Every expert rates him a lot higher than Adler.

He is more modern in the way he plays and his ability to start counter attacks with his long throws is very unique. He has exceptional reflexes and is decent at crosses (only area where he needs to improve/ / but Adler is a lot worse in that area too).

I even asked a Leverkusen Fan what he thinks about that comparison and he also thought that Neuer is the better keeper. Adler was the next big thing in Germany as a goalkeeper 2 years ago but since he didn't develop at all and Neuer improves massively.

I always hear that Adler would have done the same for the german national team if he wouldn't have been injured for the world cup but you just have to look at his performances for Germany. In most of the games he had 1-2 big errors which cost or could have cost the team a goal.

I don't want to put Adler down. He is a decent/ good keeper but Neuer is on another level at the moment in comparison to him and represents much better value, because they would probably cost around the same fee.

And if we want a decent/ good keeper like Adler we could also just buy Stekelenburg who would be a lot cheaper.

We cannot afford De Gea. I heard Kuskzak will be No.1 for next season. The little money available will be used on other areas (Giggs, scholes etc). Sad days ahead. :(

The reason behind GK coach learning spanish was that SAF made his mind on buying David De Gea. Players I want to see coming to MAN U: De Gea, Sneijder, Rodwell, Coentrao, Sanchez, A.Rooney, T.Silva. Outs: Owen, VDS(r), Scholes(r), Giggs(r), B b , Gibson, Carrick, Evans, Berbatov(£40m). Deependra

Ganso is an exceptional world class talent, if we miss him it could be a really big error. {Ed002's Note - I suspect he will end up at Inter Milan. Chelsea's interest seems to have waned a little.}

Hi Ed

If we buy a Henderson and Inter buys a Ganso type, then that tells me we perhaps lack ambition. I would hope that someone as talented and young as Ganso is the type of player we should be looking at. We shall see in summer

Red Man

{Ed002's Note - I have no idea how you can possibly make such a comparison and conclude that the club lack ambition. You need to remember that it is a team that takes to the field each week, not eleven individuals.}

This Coentrao debate is interesting. If he was signed he could play left wing and he is young enough to replace Evra at left back when he goes (probably in the next 2-3 years) Evra is 29 so even though he has got another few years at the top I can't see him being here at 33 or 34. So if Coentrao is bought he could play on the left wing for a couple of years then when Evra leaves replace him and we can either sign a left winger or hopefully give Ravel Morrison a starting 11 place.

So. Eric Steele was at Bayer Leverkusen vs Shalke yesterday.

Does that mean Neuer or Adler are top of the list :/

I don't know, but hopefully this is true and we are aiming for a Good Goalkeeper, not am Average Maarten Stekelenburg.

P.S - Sorry for all the spelling mistakes tonight, don't know what i'm at.!
