Fishing for information...
Pogba was excused from reserve team duties earlier this week.. I assumed this was to keep him fresh for tonights game however..
He is not in the squad for the game!
Does this mean he was excused to potentially meet with another clubs representatives?
Does anyone have anything on this at all.
Getting frustrated with pre-madonnas but also with the fact we seem to be losing top young talent at the same time.
Well thought Pogba was close to being blooded into the first team rota this year and next.

Fair enough, Ed. Thanks for the update. I hope he sees sense and realises what he has, and more importantly what he could have. Where do you think he will end up? It would be painful if he signed for Chelsea or another PL team.

From what I have heard, SAF gave Pogba an ultimatum regarding signing a new contact prior to last nights game, otherwise he would be dropped. As Pogba was originally listed in the squad, then dropped, and now his Agent is saying he will be available in summer, it suggests this rumour might be true?
On a side note, Fyers name was mentioned in the same rumour when I originally heard it, butI have nothing further then that.

Just hate the way the agents are totally misleading the player for their own gains.
Why can't the players see this?
Yes the club wants to pay as little as possible for wages (it is a business after all) but would it not be negociable i.e basic 20k a week with bonuses for completing certain criteria and then also potential for wage increases subject to progress?
He is defo not short from being blodded into the first team so why lose patience when he's so bloody close? Maybe agree a clause that if things aren't going as planned in 1-2 years time then he is free to leave for a set price? Surely you are better to chance 1 more year then potential regretting not taking the chance later in life.

Thanks Malcolm for declaring the stupid rule to not offer new contracts until the last year of the existing contracts.
I am convinced all of them (incl. Ravel) would have signed a new contract last year, after tasting first team action for the first time. Now they know they just have to wait 10 months and are free to sign wherever they want/earn the most.
What happened to the clause SAF talked about in december in Pogba's contract for another year?

Pogba trained on his own in carrington on Friday looks like he is going lads if he was good enough I'm sure he be playing obviously not ready if sir Alex will not play him
I don't know what the hell is going on at United. This is the best group of youngsters since the mid nineties and one by one they're being allowed to leave for peanuts. I know there were other issues with Morrison but Fergie used to be able to deal with this kind of issue in his sleep! If Pogba is allowed to leave we will massively regret it in a couple of years. The lad is a class act hence why most of Europes top clubs have been sniffing around.
