Great news guys utd in advanced talks for Wesley Sneijder for a fee 37 euros which works out about £33.7m which i'm told the player will sign 4 year contract don't know his wages but will be done soon that's why i say advanced talks just image rights to sort out and Inter Milan to get there player in they want will happen might be done next week but if not will be done for Scholes testimonial match he will play or be parade to the fans before the match nice bit business which will sell shirts straight away. The deal will be done undisclosed fee due to being club record deal. Very reliable source watch it break in papers in next week.

Believable34 Unbelievable16

Yadda, yadda, yadda, we've heard it all before. Until Inter say they've accepted an offer I won't be believing any "source"

Agree0 Disagree0

Can you take me to the bureau de change where i get 33.7million euros for 37 euros

Agree0 Disagree0

But with the rate of inflation you muppet it wont be a club record because we paid 30million for ferdinand 10 years ago

Agree0 Disagree0

Look all i will say is spoken to agent tonight that's what he told me on phone does not matter the price deal done subject to image rights and Inter get there replacement in which they are close and player having medical already agreed personal terms deal very close. The plan is paraded him front utd fans Scholes testimonial club record deal.

Agree0 Disagree0

I just cannot decide if Sneijder would be better signing than Nasri. Sneijder has proved himself and Nasri not quite there yet in my mind. Heart says yes to Sneijder and he has undoubted class but age and average last season gives me doubts but be good to see him at OT to answer these questions.........

Agree0 Disagree0

What tosh, can't believe Utd would even consider parading the replacement to one our greatest ever players on the night of his testimonial. Truth is you don't know anything until it is announced by either club.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why do people come on here and try and talk people into believing thisyou are dreaming, there is no deal for sneijder, if there were hed b pictured all over the news at manchester, pics of his wife aswell, fergie wud say we are in for him, he wants to come, but he doesnt so get it into yur heads, sneijder aint coming

I know its the Sun, but Neil Custis insists United are STILL in for Sneijder and the deal will go through.. so he tells Talksport radio

Believable18 Unbelievable9

If it is in the SUN it MUST be true.

Andy Coulson says so

Any chance United may look at De Rossi? In the last year of jis contract and talk of a move away from Italy.

Believable13 Unbelievable9

I'd prefer a younger holding midfielder i.e M'Vila but he would definately do a better job than Carrick does.
Coop

Agree0 Disagree0

De Rossi would be a fantastic signing for us We will still need a creative midfielder as well though Daler-t

Agree0 Disagree0

I know we wont get both but id love to see De Rossi partnered with Schneijder as the new 'Keane and Scholes'

You better hope that Sneijder deal wrapped up soon coz Plan B is KAKA and I know who I would prefer.

Believable10 Unbelievable17

Wont be getting sneijder and nobody in their right mind would go for kaka now, far to injury prone but i do think there will be a major signing before the window shuts

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance of kakka to old to knackered too expensive

Pardoe

Agree0 Disagree0

You better tell SAF then coz he rates the guy and at 28/29 for a Midfielder still not too old.

Nasri has insulted arsenal by saying that he will run his contract down by sitting steady for the new season. Surely manager Arseh*le W**ker should realise he will lose out Does anyone fancy Nasri to walk into Carrington soon?

Believable24 Unbelievable18

He's going to S****, they will give him a ridiculous wage package..

Agree0 Disagree0

Well he can decide what club he wants to join and we all know city have made a bid with riduclous wages and he doesn't seem interested united could offer the same wages as there is only his own sign on fee he seemed more excited bout united and Aresnal can't stop him from joining whatever club he wishes to join if he's a free agent... I really dont think he actually wants to join city but thats just my opinion...That's if he even stays in England

Agree0 Disagree0

I can see him walking into Carrington soon Straight into City's training complex United are putting faith in Carrick, Anderson Fletcher & Cleverley as Modric, Nasri & Sneijder are not possible for one reason or another End of

Agree0 Disagree0

I think he wants the money not the trophies imo

why our so many of our fans so against signing jelavic hes a good player he scores ( 14 in the last 16 ) :) he is good in the air and feet he is strong has some pace and links up well and works for the team he is a cheaper and more team orientated version of berbaflop

Believable14 Unbelievable53

Yeah but it is the scottish league which is poor i mean celtic had the top scorer hooper in the league yet he was an average striker in league 1 so i doubt jelavic will be a good signing
THE HEMMINATOR

Agree0 Disagree0

Before he signed for rangers he was playing in europa league and looked solid and he looks solid in internationals remember rangers are an average team so the supply isnt the best but you have to admit it would be better to free up berbas wage at his age and jelavic on our bench i think would be really affective especially with the wingers we have

Agree0 Disagree0

Why are so many of our fans against Berbatov, despite not getting played much last season he was still top scorer in the league yet everyone still loves Rooney despite him saying he wanted t leave and having a lousy season. Berbatovs style of play is lazy because it works for him surely you can see he plays better when he cruises around yet when he runs around putting in load s of effort nothing comes of it. Wake up

Agree0 Disagree0

I think you need to wake up how effective is he in big games hes cores 5 against black burn and 1 in how many years in europe get real mate his wage is silly for someone on the bench and we are going for pace not lazy selfish flops {Ed007's Note - Why are you answering your own post?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Why do rangers supporters think any of their players are on par with any top club. Jelavic and McGregor is all you talk about and you try linking them with big clubs like United to make yourselves look good. They are good players in a terrible league playing for a poor rangers team which struggled to win the league against a crap Celtic team that have 7 strikers in their starting 11. He is nowhere hear the quality of berbatov and I don't like berbatov.

Agree0 Disagree0

He played in Austria, in Austria he was the 2nd best striker behind Marc Janko, so sign Marc ;-)

Agree0 Disagree0

I think its the usual "he's not abig name so he's not good enough" snobbery that's a total load of crap.

Some fans look down on the Scottish league and yes its true its inferior to the premier league.

But OGS came from the Norwegian league and that's inferior as well and he scored a hatfull.

And Ruud from the Dutch league and thats not as good either.

And i doubt the Mexican league is that good either and Hernandez still enjoyed a good season.

So why shouldn't Jelavic? He's already acclimitised after all and he managed to survive a season on Scotland.

I'm not saying we should sign the guy just that look at things abit more.

He could do a job maybe, given the chance. People are quick to say sell the Berb but never offer up replacements. Here's a suggestion.

Rincewind

Agree0 Disagree0

How can u say berba isnt a quality striker? any1 remember the liverpool game, blackburn or the blackpool an bolton game its great criticising a player that played out of his skin the first half of the season when rooney was playing absolute s**t. i have more time for berbatov than rooney who's a greedy scouser with no loyalty to the club unlees he gets more money. berbatov never compained and got on with it

Agree0 Disagree0

He may be a cheaper option but there are others I would prefer. Someone like Podolski or Rondon who would both probably be around 10-15m would be my picks. Only if Berbatov leaves though because if he does he will most likely be sold for around 10-12m meaning we aren't spending much more on a replacement.

Rjmanutd

Agree0 Disagree0

Jesus christ. Did none of you watch the champions league final, or in fact the FA Cup semi final. Simply, Berbatov is not good enough for the big stage with pressure on, how about Rome, Wembley last season ? As for Jelavic, we are trying to win the European Cup, not the f***ing Europa League and Barcleona are the team to beat. Get your heads out of your a**eholes and aim big, we are Manchester United after all and not f***ing Raith Rovers, how about Eto or whoever the greatest striker on the planet is right now. News flash, Barcelona not interested in Jelly Bits or whatever his f***ing name is.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jul 2011 12:57:56
in my opinion we should sell berbatov free his wage bill and sign jelavic from rangers great first touch and would be just as good for us good at holding the ball u cheaper less wages more determined less lazy just better

Believable8 Unbelievable50

If the Celtic game was on tell would u be saying the same about samaras?? Wish u ppl would stop being stupid

Agree0 Disagree0

He has had 1 good touch and is getting dealt with by the hearts defence Yeah sign him up Muppet

Agree0 Disagree0

Stupid ahaha how is that stupid so we pay 80k plus a week for berbatov who is 30 and doesnt do anything apartf rom get tap ins and sit on the bench when we have rooney owen hernandez macheda diouf welbeck why pay him that much to sit there jelavic would be cheaper more strength pace better in the air and better first touch and works for the team

Its first game of the season mate he scored 14 goals in 16 last season and would be a good buy for our bench at 10mil

Agree0 Disagree0

We don't need another striker add Owen to your list, money is best used 4 cm

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry didn't see owen mate u have listed him, but still another striker is not needed

Could Utd be set to swoop for Jelavic and Izzaguire? to my understanding we will try to aquire them in January if they have good seasons with Rangers and Celtic. Jelavic has stated he would happily move and Izzaguire has confirmed contact. We do need a new Left back with Evras age and Fabio pursuing a career in right back.

Believable6 Unbelievable43

Start of the Scottish season and the rangers game is boring u already so u make u silly rumours 2 brighten your day Both players trying 2 engineer a move or a pay rise

Agree0 Disagree0

Jelavic and izzaguire are good players and would bolster our squad
