Uniteds chances of signing Lewa have dropped a good bit today I would guess

Believable25 Unbelievable9

Why? Because he is world class? We can sign those boys.

Man Utd planning double raid on Dortmund. Blaszczykowski - 15million
Lewandowski - 25 million

This will happen aslong as Dortmund don't win the champions league

Bayern just announced that lewandowski is a done deal for them.

Agree0 Disagree4

Where when how what???

Agree1 Disagree0

Where have you heard bayern have done the deal? Players can agree terms with many teams. All comes down to the choice of the player & deal with the owning club

Agree1 Disagree1

Its all over the interwebs that Lewandowski has signed for Bayern Munich, it appeared before the match kicked off to boot. Enrique Reyes, has confirmed that he is following Gotze, unbelievable to think that Dortmund would sell 2 of their best players to their rivals.

It was goal that reported this story about some agent saying he's going somewhere, and a key thing to note is that you can't believe Goal. There are reports that the United scouts are there tonight. United have the money he is rumoured to prefer us over Bayern

Agree2 Disagree0

Ed please tell me that this isn't true (the lewandowski to Bayern) Please please please.
Paul

If he is still available the price will certainly have increased; what a striker!

Lewy is for sure a united player next term. SAF knows the asking price, because he has only 1yr left in the contract, is not a tumbling stone.

quick question for Ed I know your bored of people asking for money evaluations and whether united are after this player and that player but if any players are to leave united in the summer who do you assume they are? also do expect united to be more active than usual in the summer or do you think that the papers are lying as per? thank you
Jospeh the barbarian {Ed002's Note - Obviously players will be leaving this summer with Scholes certainly moving on. Perhaps a goalkeeper will be gone. Hernandez looks a possible candidate to move on. Nani will be gone if a buyer is found. A CB is being looked for so Ferdinand will be less prominent next season.}

Believable9 Unbelievable3

Agree with everything youve just said I also think anderson and young should be sold but replacements are comlicated I've seen previous posts about lamela and lewandowski so I won't ask about any of these because I know the answer but do you expect united to be very active this summer?

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed002 do you think SAF has less priorities regarding midfielders this term too? {Ed002's Note - No, a midfield player is clearly a priority.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I think for as many of Fergies good points, sometimes his loyalty to certain players is a downfall. We have persisted with Nani for years now, and to be honest everyone knew he wasn't the player we all hoped he could be. Young and Anderson both don't cut it for me. Like Nani we see very small glimpses of brilliance but nothing more.
I feel SAF still feels they would come good, and perhaps fears that they will flourish elsewhere and would fear the backlash from that. I can't see any other explanation as to why they would stick around.

The age of the squad has to be addressed, Giggs, Scholes, Carrick, Vidic, Rio, Evra, and soon to be RVP all the wrong side of 30. Some of the above mentioned can't play week in week out now let alone next year.

What do you see regarding Andos situation Ed? A sale?

Dan {Ed002's Note - I don't know.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I think a right back is also required we have been lucky this year Rafel has not been injured this year just wondering eds if we might go for a right back. Just like to congratulate all the Utd team fans management etc on winning number 20 nights like Monday makes us proud to support the greatest club in the world.

That is the very reason sir Alex is good at developing youth in the club. Do you think Rafael had been the same player had SAF not had faith in him. And since he gives everyone a chance to show their abilities is the main reason he gets a lot of people performing at that level. And also show me a player who has done exceptionally well after leaving OT whom SAF had snubbed during his years at OT. Showcross may be!but not definately many.

Agree0 Disagree0

Shawcross, Pique, Rossi (when he gets over his injury), Pogba.

Agree0 Disagree0

Pique has the easiest job in football behind that midfield, and look at what happens when that midfield gets breached, is he really a loss?

Rossi has done what exactly since leaving? He wouldn't have been a success here since he's too small.

Pogba? Had what 4 good games for Juve. wow.

Agree0 Disagree1

Pogba and shawcross I agree with but Pique wanted to leave and go back to spain to Barcelona, so there was nothing the club could do about that and Rossi really isn't a good player.

Hi Eds!

Considering the widespread criticism of Mario Gotze for moving to a rival club. does that make us favorite to sign Lewondowski. as it may deter his decision of joining a rival club with the fear of fans wrath.

Reading today's newspaper, and we are being linked to the young winger from Sporting, Bruma. For those who watch portuguese football or the Ed's, is he any good?

ZigZag {Ed002's Note - There is much interest in the player and it is a long way to go before anything can be said with confidence.}

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Thanks Ed! Would be logical if Sporting rather would want to sell to us, since we splashed out some decent cash for both Nani and Ronnie.

ZigZag {Ed002's Note - That would be on no relevance at all.}

United, Chelsea and Dortmund are all after Heung-min Son of Hamburg?

It is super good that they do not want to lose me", Buttner told Omroep Gelderland.

"Manchester United see in me the successor to Evra. I am therefore not available for loan. "

No new lb then

Believable13 Unbelievable5

Don't forget we also have Fabio coming back from loan.

I thought this was obvious anyway. Buttner will be given a chance before any new LB comes in. Besides we have other proirities like midfield.

Agree1 Disagree0

Yes, let's rememebr though Evra has declined and been pretty poor last couple of years, this season he has had a good one, still not the old Evra but certainly an able left back, and with Buttner and as mentioned Fabio to come back, why do we need to sign a new left back?

I agree with shappy, we need to see what buttner and fabio can do and I think they'll get a few chances. I'm glad we're keeping evra on. I know he's struggled in recent seasons but there were factors and lack of positional competition was one of them. I do like the guy. He's united through and through. Also we need to retain a certain amount of experience in the dressing room. MrE

Agree1 Disagree0

Buttner is far beyond a regular left back at UTD. The problem of SAF has been the lack of opportunities for Fabio at QPR. Equations could change quickly. As we know SAF is after CL trophy and it would be absurd to think both of these players to be of that class.

Agree0 Disagree0

Stuey, Evra has been good going forward this season agreed, but he has still been a liability in defence. Until the LB problem is fixed we will continue to leak unnecessary goals from the left.

Agree0 Disagree0

Buttner a first choice left back, think I just cracked a rib laughing. He is like a Reliant Robin on a Grand Prix circuit.
