Hi eds do u think we are watching the end of rio

Believable29 Unbelievable4

{Ed004's Note - Yes and Vidic}

Ed004 - Agreed, but add Cleverley, Young, Valencia, RvP, Wellbeck, Kagawa, Smalling, Evra, Carrick and Fellaini as well.

Agree0 Disagree3

And hopefully Cleverley he was substandard!

Agree2 Disagree1

Also a few others. Terrible performance, no pace and can't keep the ball.

We are a mile behind and let the surgery commence

Agree0 Disagree1

Rio was finished a while ago. Once he lost his pace to deal with mistakes he was done.

Agree0 Disagree1

So he wasn't the most consistent defender last year? short memory there

Agree0 Disagree2

Yes very short memories indeed melwing well said, rio had a good season last year, he isn't being used correctly in my opinion by moyes, moyes played him week in week out early on in the season and then kept him out for a long spell, this isn't the way to use him in my opinion, he needs to be rested at the right times, all though his legs may have gone his reading of the game is second to none as proved last year, his distribution of the ball is really poor this year though for some reason, he's taking far too much time on the ball ( maybe a lack of movement in front of him and midifielders such as cleverly hiding and not showing for it ), looks a man who has totally lost confindence at the minute like a lot of them!

I don't know about the end of rio more like the end of half the team, surely it's got to be whatever system they are supposed to be playing you feel for moyes but that's where the buck ends I just think his days are numbered , they say the difference between 4th and 5 th place is 50 million next season. i'm not sure a new team put together will have any immediate impact we may be a mid table team for a while every club is improving.

Agree0 Disagree0

We don't have short memories we just see beyond the blinkers

I understand we are close to sealing deals for Iikay Gundogan and Toni Kroos, with Gundogan said to be worth Kagawa + £10m and then Kroos £27m as Bayern have said they will never change their entire salary structure because of a single player, so he can go

Believable22 Unbelievable60

I'd love if this were true but I just can't see it happening, Gundogen has had a bad injury laden season and would be a gamble as for a player of a young age to have a bad back one can only wonder how many games per season he would miss with it.

Kroos has not asked to be the clubs record earner but just wants pariety with Thiago and Goetze or so I have heard. In the end I think he or Bayern will lower their demands and he will sign a new contract, he is a very good player and Bayern will not want to lose him.

Agree1 Disagree1

If toni kroos dosent sign a new deal with bayern ( which I think he will ) then all the big clubs will come calling not just manchester united, although we can meet his wage demands, provide him with a club with a great history, tradition, fanbase and a platform like old trafford is what many dream of, I just think without champions league football we have 0 chance of securing his signature if i'm honest. he will end up at man city most likely just to rub salt in the wounds.

Apparently Seamus Coleman has said that a deal is in place to come to old Trafford, plus any of the eds do u think we will get kroos?

Believable8 Unbelievable50

Personally don't think that Coleman is any better than Rafa - he just needs some confidence back. Kroos will sign a new deal in my opinion, if he doesn't then we have a real chance but the one we will go for and get is Gundogan in my opinion.

Agree3 Disagree0

If you don't think coleman is an improvment on rafa then you have nt been watchin much footie this season.hes been evertons best player this season. scoring 5 prem goals from full back. rafa has nt scored that in his career. he's also twice the defender. sign him up

Agree1 Disagree1

Who has he said this to, your dog? There is no way a player would say a thing like that at this point of the season while under contract at another club. Please think before you post in the future.

Agree4 Disagree0

Coleman is better than Rafael now AND has more potential.

Agree0 Disagree0

Coleman has been even better than Zabaleta this season, he's outstanding. Not only is he an improvement and Rafael, he plays the way Moyes wants his fullbacks to play.
