Tevez has signed for Juventus.
Good Riddance From Manchester.

Believable81 Unbelievable6

Nothing to do with man utd!! why ya bringing it up on here!!

Agree0 Disagree0

So the "Welcome to Manchester" banner was not directed at United? He had been with us the previous 2 seasons so why the wording?

We all know why. Yes I liked him when he played for us (100 % effort on the field) but his attitude stinks and the Leopard could not change his spots at eastlands.

Juventus haven't done bad in the past two season, Llorente, Tevez, Pogba, Asamoah & Giovinco for around £23m. Probably get Nani for £8m.

Sydney!

Believable67 Unbelievable10

Not bad but would've only really wanted Pogba out of them all and we had him!

Agree2 Disagree0

Yes they got um cheap and there all really good players but bet there wages are to much for what they are Teves is class but to much trouble and will do well in Italy hope they do take nani even for as little as 8m means we have room for Bale lol Katef

Agree1 Disagree1

Agreed Sydney, very good transfer policy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Juventis are clearly a club who know a good player and how to get them at a decent price. Utd could learn a thing or two from them. We really dropped a bollock with Pogba, we generally overpay for players look at Hargreaves, nani, Anderson and van persie. Now before you all jump up and down and say van persie scores goals, yes he does, but he is the wrong side of 30 and only had 12 mtjs on his arsenal contract. If Wayne is only worth £25-30 m now, van Persie should have been £15m max.

Agree1 Disagree0

RvP was a great by so was a lot of other players Ronnie chic vidic and a lot of the time its the players we go for that are playing well then slump when they get here juv pay big wages to trouble makers that people don't want

Agree0 Disagree0

I would rather have Vidal, pogba, pirlo, marchisio in my midfield than cleverly, Anderson, young and Valencia. If those players are trouble makers that people don't want I would have them in my team all day long.

Agree0 Disagree0

For every van persie, vidic, ronnie chicharito, there is a David bellion, Gabriel obertan, djemba djemba, Ashley young, diego forlan, Juan Sebastian veron, Karel poborsky, jordi cruyff.

We also sell players at less than true value. Beckham £24m Madrid have admitted they had set a budget of £40m to get him. Stam for £15m, piqué £4m, Rossi £1m, Forlan £1 m. let's not get precious, our negotiating skills are far from top of the class.

We also regularly miss out on top targets, essien, Robbe, Mohamed diarra, Lucas moura, Gareth bale, Samir nasri (albeit that was a lucky break).

Agree0 Disagree0

Young is a good squad player, and the quality of player you get for 15-20m these days are only going to be squad players at a top team. If you pay that and get a top player it's a bargain.

No manager gets it right every time, SAF was no different. Yes we do often pay over the odds and sell cheaply, but look how much City just sold Tevez for, it's not just us. And as others have pointed out, we get some bargains too: Rafael, Hernandez, vidic, Ronaldo, hopefully Thiago soon.

With City ruling out Cavani and Tevez going to Juventus, hopefully they don't go after Lewandowski.

Sulei

Believable38 Unbelievable4

He's signed an agreement with bayern so I wouldn't worry, he will move there next summer or more likely for a small fee in january.

Agree0 Disagree1

Doesn't really matter, there was never much chance of us going in for him anyway.

Possibly, if Rooney had gone, we might have tried, but it was never very likely.

Agree0 Disagree0

They will!

TEVEZ going to juventus for around 10 million what a bargain, we should have kept him, them damned agents spoiling the game, no sour grapes from me good luck carlos.
BIGAL REDFOREVER

Believable16 Unbelievable45

Good luck Carlos?!

J - Stand

Agree0 Disagree4

He is a traitorous, nasty, selfish B*****d and I'm 100% happy that he's moving far away. If players don't want to play for us, I'm happy to see them go and even more pleased when they move as far away as possible. I have no good memories of him
Mik

Agree1 Disagree0

The poster boy of the modern day stereotypical, arrogant, greedy, agent led footballer.

Agree1 Disagree0

I have always maintained that his agent interfered. SAF says he made offers, Feces says he received no offers, and the man in the middle is a particularly greedy and devious agent who stands to make a lot of money if Tevez moves club to a super-rich oil funded neighbor.

SAF: Kia, has he looked over the new contract?
Kia: Yes, he will not sign, he wants to move on.

1 hr earlier.

Tevez: Kia, have they offered a new contract yet?
Kia: No Carlos, Sir Alex said they don't want you anymore, and also that you smell like rotten haggis.
Tevez: I will have my revenge.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whilst I've never warmed to him, surely it was us not willing to pay the fee rather than him not wanting to play for us, if we'd paid, he'd have payed and, importantly, been great for us; no way he'd have mis- behaved under SAF!

My source tells me the Cavani story is agent/paper mischief trying to get things moving. With City losing out on Isco, Cavani could be the big name signing to keep the bitters happy.

Alcantra has deals from UTD and Barca to consider. UTD are concerned about a buy back clause that Barca want and fear another Pique situation. Garay and Strootman deals are both 90% sorted with personals agreed and just payment stages to clubs to finalise. EFC wanted a 12 month clearance before any bids for their players are made but Fellaini has a b/o clause which could be made but the word is no Fellaini or Baines bids this year. LFC made a cheeky enquiry on Smalling but were told where to go. Palace have asked about a loan back on Zaha but Moyes wants to give the boy a chance and may allow a January deal if the player is struggling.

Expect a few old faces in the coaching staff with P Nev and Scholes being offered roles.

Believable45 Unbelievable18

Jesus, your sources are the red tops mate, I feel a bit insulted that you expect people to believe anything different.

Agree0 Disagree1

Do Barcelona have a right to insert a buy back clause when the player is being purchsed by his buy out clause being met?
Sorry I don't know much about buy out clauses.
Bob

Agree1 Disagree0

Cracks me up how you expect us to believe you have a source! you are just stating the obvious, apart from the lfc smalling BS!

Agree0 Disagree0

No fellani yes

Agree0 Disagree0

Doubt that there would be a 12 month clearance on Everton players. David Moyes left Everton after his contract ended to join us so there could not possibly be any agreement where he can't buy Everton players now

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought there was some kind of gentlemans agreement?

El Barcelona se interesa en Rooney - Barcalona is interested in Rooney states many of the Spanish Press and Sports Radio Stations.

From my connections with El Barca after virtually living in El Campo Nou. Rooney is well on the WANTED LIST, and the planned meeting with David Moyes will either make or break the 'money to put on the table'.

Maybe a new start for Wazza is the best, personally, I'd drive him to Cataluna if he decides to go, or indeed is shown the exit door.

Spanish is easy to learn, the Scouse Lad, will find Catalan a whole new ball game, and home sickness could soon set in. However both Barca & Madrid have McDonalds, so that could help.

Believable16 Unbelievable18

Not a chance, doesn't fit in with their style of play and wouldn't fit the lifestyle their either.

Danny14

Agree3 Disagree0

No chance. If thiago is leaving because he can't get a game and barca have just bought neymar, where will Rooney fit into the team? Unfortunately I think we are stuck with the disloyal shrek look a like.

Frustrated fan.

Agree2 Disagree0

Seriously?

Rooney would actually fit quite well. With players like Messi and Neymar who would actually push forward to take his place as spearhead when he drops deeper, and his natural energy and aggression fitting the high pressing style, Barca would get the best out of him in a way we haven't. It's what I've been hoping to see here, especially since kagawa arrived, but Rooney has barely had a match up front since then, and especially as lone striker.

Agree0 Disagree0

Connections with el barca?! lol!

Agree0 Disagree0

To the comedian that replied. "Connections with el barca?! lol!
Jealous? Use of a season ticket whenever I want, visit VIP section when I use it, and speak Spanish & Catalan with at least three board members and staff.

Good luck to you pal and can I borrow the season ticket!

Copy and pasted from the a website website, not my views. Just sharing.

Has this been inspired by Manchester United’s interest? Edinson Cavani feels the buy-out clause in his contract is too high and plans to discuss the matter with Napoli. The Uruguay international's valuation has been set at €63million (£54m) and Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is unlikely to budge. Cavani has said: "I don't think I'm worth €63m. I will talk to De Laurentiis about it. I owe a lot to Napoli and I want to leave through the front door if I move on. ”

Believable9 Unbelievable28

Cavani wants a move to Spain, to either Real or Barcelona - that's why he wants to reduce the asking price as currently those two clubs are not biting.

WF Red Devil

Agree1 Disagree0

No but your opinion is the 'has this been inspired by the Manchester United interest?' That is just wishful thinking. Cavani has already stated that it is a great honour to be linked with Real Madrid and chelsea.

Agree1 Disagree0

Cavani has agreed to join Chelsea.

Agree0 Disagree3

Maybe he and his agent know that a lower transfer fee = more money for higher wages.

Agree1 Disagree0

I like Cavani and think he is a cut above Lewendowski, but not for that money. For 35, maybe even 40m, but that's tops
Mik

Agree0 Disagree0

The time to discuss the buy-out clause would be before he signed the contract.

Cavani Rumour this story reminds me very much of when The Sun claimed we were on the verge of
signing Falcao. when most of us knew it was a pile of s**** apart from a few unfortunate ones!

Believable36 Unbelievable40

Just for arguments sake, let's suggest this was true. i'd say that once again it "looks" like we were in for these players. Falcao, Cavani, Lewandowski, etc. It reminds me of Fergies admission that we went for David Villa, but he was always going to Barcelona. Its the whole "we tried but. " scenario.
I would love to think I am wrong, but it just seems a familiar thing. We get linked with Cavani, just as fee is accepted with Chelsea. I know we are on verge of signing Thiago, and yes he is class, but he is only £18m and that's why we went for him. Would we have if he was £30m+?

I think the list of players we want or need is dwindling now so will be interesting to see what we actually do pull off. The Ronaldo talk will fizzle out into nothing, as Perez apparently came out again last night talking of Ronny staying till retirement etc. Jury still out on Strootman. So who are our targets now? Garay, Gaintan, Di Maria?

Agree1 Disagree0

We have not gone for Thiago because of his price but because of his quality. United's interest dates as far as three years back and we made bids for him two years ago. Its the likes of Chelsea that have shown a late interest due to his price, not us.

The interest in Villa was also long term and it is well documented that he does not want to leave Spain. Not just Sir Alex but various journalists based in Spain and on occasions Villa himself has said that.

As for Cavani, Falcao rumors, such rubbish is printed by the press all of the time. Sir Alex came out the next day to rubbish that rumor. I believe that the Ronaldo rumor is the same as well with the Ronaldo camp just leaking false stories of United interest to the press to push for a contract they want from RM. We get linked to a lot of ridiculous targets which we have zero interest in by the press, it comes with being one of the most popular football clubs on the planet.

There are near misses in the market for all clubs.

Clubs and agents will use MU as a bargaining tool to get more money for their player/clients. City have recently said they will not meet the amount Napoli want for the player and bringing MU into the frame is a way of getting City back in the running. They know RM will not pay the money they want, they certainly wouldn't receive the transfer fee in a lump some like they could with City or Chelsea.

Anyone who believes this Cavani rumour are nothing short of naive.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

Really hope we don't sign him in my opinion I think he's overrated and more or less a right footed Carroll. Yeah he's banging goals in in Italy but it ant a great league anymore well just have to wait and see

Agree0 Disagree2

Sydney,
I reckon you have summarised this very well - not a chance in my opinion, and not necessary either. Spend the money on the midfield, ffs!

I see this rumour is from the daily mirror. What is it with that paper, summer transfer time they are the WORST source of any Utd stories and rumours in particular. I could name a few they did in the last two summers that were utter twaddle. All I would say is please don't believe anything they print, they are very good at getting people to look at there site or papers this time of year, simply by sensationalism of stories you almost want to believe if you were not aware of all the other twaddle stories
