tribal.... have a possible comeback date for Clev's as the Basle game (7th Dec)...

this would be great news if it were true...

heres to hoping.....

Let him take as long as he needs, we can't afford to rush him back and lose him again

Basel will be fighting very hard against us as it's their last chance to get through so i'm not sure if SAF will risk him in what i think shall be a pretty tough game. I reckon he'll choose the experience of Fletch n Carrick once again.

I doubt he'll be picking Carrick seeing as Carrick is suspended for the Basle game.

Really worried about the game against Basle will just go and prove what a lot of people said during the summer about new midfielders, a midfield of Fletcher and giggs/Jones does not appeal to me, I really hope we purchase a midfielder in Jan but I have my doubts. can see Fergie picking any of our young midfielders either

Darn, that means Fletcher and...Giggs?...Park?

Lethal partnership! : (

Giggs can always step up to the task when we need him most! He was rusty the last game but if he gets more game time between now and Basil he'll do the job asked of him, ive no doubt there!

Cant believe that we are desperate for a young lad who,s only played 4 first team prem games to save our season.we are the biggest club in world football and for us to be in this situation is a disgrace.

Do people on here not watch our games ? as good as giggsy has been for us over the years he,s passed it he cant influence games any more.
johndenton

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Giggs looked good when he was first put in CM due to his touch, creativity, vision etc. but he is not the answer. When the creativity doesnt come off (like the last time he played) he doesnt offer enough of the other qualities required to shore up the midfield e.g. tackilng, determination

Whats this ive been hearing about an American keeper having a trial with us? Sean Johnson. Why when we have DDG, Lindegaard and Amos. We havent even managed to get rid of Kuszczak yet! On another note, is he one of the ones we played against pre-season? Oh and is he any good?

I understand it's not a trial as such, rather it's something United have agreed with his US club to further the players development. I think Eric Steele (our GK coach) has good relation with the US club and it's come about via that. Not to say it doesn't give him an opportunity to impress, but it isn't a trial in the accepted sense.

Manchester United lead the pack in the chase for the dynamite 15-year-old Spaniard Javier Gonzalez who has scored an amazing 20 goals in just seven games for Laredo SD's youth team.
His astonishing scoring record for the Fourth Division Spanish club means Europe's big guns, including Chelsea, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Barcelona, are clamouring to add him to their armoury.
Both Jose Mourinho's Real Madrid and Arsene Wenger's Arsenal are believed to have offered the youngster trials, but the Red Devils are vying for a deal.
If United get their way, they may be able to pick up the striker who could form a future partnership with Javier Hernandez which could be as potent as it would be confusing.
