There are loads of great candidates to be the new ManU number 1 - Stekelenburg is are number 1 target, but Neuer, Akinfeev are quality too.

IF we win the PL this season, it is because everyone else was poor, not that we were good. Realistically we only need to sign a goalkeeper and a Left Winger.

I would love to see a big money move for Bale. He is by far the best young left winger atm.

Despite our appalling CM performances this season I believe that Anderson + Morrison, Tunnicliffe, Pogba and Fletcher can see us through.

Rooney is off to chelsea in the summer transfer window for british record 65million

Why would we sell Rooney to Chelsea?

Thats like Barcelona selling David Villa to Real Madrid!"""
dear unnamed sir,
the only differences are that villa has a wonderful first touch, is scoring goals for fun, even with the excuse that he us played out of position at left wing, and cost much much less. and he is not brooding and beating up his opponents with his elbows and kicking them.

Mario Gotze and Nuri Sahin were absolute class for Dortmund in their win against Bayern today. Gotze has been linked with a move to United, and although I think he would be a spectacular signing, Dortmund will surely do their best to hang on to him. This is just speculation, but I wonder what the chances of a potential move for either Sahin or Gotze are in the summer. At United, they could develop into world class players.

"Do we have the money? Not under the Glazers will there be any major purchases, however, as I have said before I heard from someone in the US there was movement this summer on the ownership.

Red Man"

It would be moronic on the part of the glazers to sit on 130mil of cash and not pay off the "supposed new loan" somewhere in the corporate structure, so i believe that what you are hearing could be true.

A takeover at United i don't think will happen easily in a day and will take months or even years to complete. It is very difficult even for the Qataris to stump up 1.5bn or so worth of cash straight off, so if we are being sold, i believe it will be a gradual change in ownership.

Sydney!

- -

He bases it off nothing, too many times in the past he's come out with info from a 'source' yet it has NEVER ever come true."
dear unnamed sir
thank you dear sir. you are the only one who understands ngiak. and everyone else here for that matter.
NOTHING HAS COME TRUE FROM THIS SITE
and all ngiak has said has either been whispers from other friends OR HIS OWN ASSESSMENT OF THE GLAZERS' FINANCIAL PLAN. ngiak's own assessment, ngiak's own guesses, ngiak's own reading of the situation.
sigh, how many more times does ngiak have to say this, he wonders. .

I hear Fergie has decided Ashley Young is better value than Modric. Both same age I think. Good move IMO. His versatililty would be a real asset. Can play left, right, central or in the hole, scores more than Anderson, more attacking threat than Gibson and would learn from Scholes. I hear Villa want £20m but with only 17 months remaining on his contract Gill knows Villa will have to negotiate. Ashley is going to tell them he won't be signing a new deal and United think they'll get him for £14m. I hear Houllier hopes United will part with Berbatov in px, he sees him as a perfvect partner for D Bent. I imagine United would prefer a straight cash deal though.

Houllier know Liverpool are also interested and may push for a p/ x with J Cole.

I say if he wants to come then go get him. Besides Spurs would want silly money for Modric. Any thoughts Ed? {Ed001's Note - Young has already told Villa he is leaving, hence the money being forthcoming for Bent. Liverpool are definitely interested, they bid for him in January, but do have other options so won't get into a bidding war.}
