Rumours we have already signed cilleson but are keeping it secret as part of our attempts to buy ramos. Meaning if we can't get ramos we will be willing to sell de gea last minute for much less than the 33 million we wanted. Also benitez has said ramos is 'optimistic' about staying at the bernabeu! So he wants to stay there after all, shock horror ! Waste of time and was a very strong possibility we'd not get ramos and lose de gea for nothing . Mr Woodword continues to work hard it would appear ! Also apparently a fee of 23million agreed for Pedro and that will go through as soon as di maria signs for psg. What exactly is holding this up????? Be interested to see if Pedro can hack the PL

I totally understand IT IS getting annoying but it's also being reported that we are looking to tie the deal involving Moura? Great talent and he too is only 22? Getting Moura at his age, Memphis at 21/22 on top of that Wilson and Januaj (spelling) next year or even this year a young top striker as well would be awesome! It's just the defence I'm worried about abit? We need someone more commanding although Smalling has grown in statue miles than I thought he would do?

Admittedly this is all ifs, buts and maybes but I just wanted peoples/eds opinions.

Hypothetically let's say we insist on DDG staying this year, what happens if Real get the possible transfer ban that was suggested earlier in the year?

I might have missed this all get resolved but I thought they were being investigated currently.

If it happens they will protest and get one more transfer window. Barca got he ban , they appealed and the ban was lifted for that summer window and they got everyone in. Expect the same with Real.

That's if he does end up leaving. I have a sneaky feeling he might give it another go this season. It would be worth keeping him just to put PSG in their place. I think they have acted inappropriately; constantly going on about the player in an attempt to unsettle him further.

You're right guys. Reading that comment back I don't know what I was thinking. I was kind of hoping that Di Maria had a pair and might give it another go and fight for his place, but it seems he is a light weight mercenary with absolutely no respect for the club. So yes, send him on his way, although I hope the club won't sell until we have signed a replacement or got one of their main players in return.

I can't help but think that PSG have instructed him to act like a brat and not turn up for training in order to push the move through.

He will never be known as a great. Great players are made of tougher stuff.

He was shit last year and why would we want to turn down 45 to 50 million pounds for a player who was an absolute failure in the league and a non factor. some of our fans seem to be more in love with names and reputations than actual performance on the pitch.

I personally think that Ibra is coming the other way in the di Maria saga. This is probably the suprise LVG was talking about.
Yes, he is getting on but he bossed Chelsea the other night in the first half especially. I personally want any 1 of about 5 other players instead of him but there is no getting round the fact that the blokes a tank and would cause a lot of issues for defenders.

I want ADM out ASAP, lightweight and has the heart of a mouse. Recipe for disaster in premier league.

I know it's not a lot to go on. I've been watching Romero on you tube. Seems a decent penalty and shot stopper. however he does not seem keen on catching the ball,He prefers to push the ball to either side of him, or even back into the danger area. Imo a striker who is alert may have field day against us if he plays. Like I say it's only what I've seen on YouTube.
