Am I right in thinking Nike pay us a fixed fee regardless of how many shirts we sell? It only becomes important when we renegotiate? Either way, United sell more shirts than every American Football (not soccer) team combined.

Just a question (No Glazer politics)

For those asking. I hear that #MUFC are closer to signing Neymar than #CFC but the player/ Santos have not agreed a deal with anyone.
The thoughts on Ian mcgarry on twitter, apparently very well connected at Chelsea (according to BBC football editor phil mcnulty) So seemingly a very credible source no?

{Ed002's Note - For me the fee would be too high. Play Rooney in midfield and buy another striker.}

@Yes, at least until Pogba is ready. Something like this could work.

ED have you seen much of hernanes midfielder from brazil plays for lazio in my opinion he looks strong and looks capable on the ball and creative i would like to see him and cavani as our two main signings {Ed002's Note - He is getting a lot of plaudits but given he has only arrived at Napoli thi season it is unlikely they will be willing to even listen for offers.}

"{ed002's Note - Syd it would only be guess work on my behalf. The Sanchez deal is as I explained in detail. Pastore has seen Juve rejected and a recent Manchester City bid rejected. Palermo may be interested in a deal but again we are looking at very large numbers for a 21 or 22 year old. Ganso has backage and Barcelona and Inter seem to be pressing - although it is AC Milan who are keenest. They may want to sell Pato and then offer a part ownership deal to Santos for Ganso. I do ask around the folks we have dotted around Europe to see if they hear much and they will let me know if they do. As nothing is confirmed with these I can of course simply pass it on as rumour and speculation.}"

@Thanks for keeping me updated Ed, Am I right in saying part ownerships in England are not allowed? Do you think this is going to give the Italian teams an advantage over us? Is this why you believe Juventus even though are pretty skint will have some swagger in the transfer market this summer.

Lets be honest Ganso, Neymar, Sanchez & Pastore are all high possibilities for going to either AC Milan, Juventus & Inter because of these player sharing rules, or lack of them I should say. Surely teams like Santos, Palermo & Udinese would prefer deals like this as they still get part ownership of these players?

Sydney!

{Ed002's Note - You are right that part ownership is not allowed in England and it gives advantages to a few European countries that do allow it (notably Spain and Italy). It certainly makes it tough on some of the clubs - but I think Chelsea may sneak one of their targets.}

Imo hazard is a less physical winger gets pushed off the ball to easy so will probably go to spain or italy
young will go to spurs or arsenal as arshavin maybe sold would be good replacement for him imo as a united fan as yoing said he wants to play in london
neymar is over priced imo i believe hernandez to be just as good player and potential and he was alot cheaper and there is a lot cheaper out there

i would love to see schweinsteiger or de rossi though probably not going to happen as cost too much so probably see hernanes from lazio and gyfli siggurdsson from hoffenheim bought in both strong and creative i think nani may leave if he does would like to see guardado from deportivo or zarate from lazio though i hope nani stays

would love to see berbatov sold for 18 mil (ish) and cavani from napoli or gomis from lyon {Ed002's Note - Cavani is available.}

{Ed002's Note - I don't know. Inter have some very high profile targets and I understand that Neymar would like to move to Milan. I don't expect AC Milan to be chasing the player but Inter have Neymar, Ganso, Aguero and Sanchez as targets - and they will be expecting to get two of these (with Aguero being their first choice). Barcelona are keen on Ganso, but Ganso is keen on Inter. Manchester City are keen on everyone but anticipate difficulties persuading players to make the move - and Robinho will certainly have explained his experiences to Neymar and Ganso. Chelsea again have these players as targets and have been in a much better postion in terms of negotiation. So any could end up anywhere - if I had to split the four I would say Aguero and Sanchez could move to Inter, Ganso to Barcelona and Neymar to Chelsea. But you can also add Real Madrid and manchester United to the mix - so who knows.}

@Ed002, here's a little something you wrote earlier, can I ask who out of the four players you have mentioned do you think United would pay top dollar for? Also, I know you believe United will go for Coentrao, Adler & we know United were close to signing Rodwell in January, but is there any other player you think United will go for? Or do you know if United are planning to sign a marquee player?

Do you have any decent United info?

I think Modric would cost between 30-40 million, but i think if we were to dangle Rio and Wes in front Harry or maybe Carrick or Berbatov then Harry being the wheeler dealer that he is wouldn't be able to resist 30 million and a choice of 4 United players, so i think that would be a possibility.

Agree regards PP but the problem is that he isn't a couple of years older. I expect him to make his debut in the Blackpool game, maybe Ravel as well (can't count 60 seconds as a time wasting sub in a league cup game) and for both of them to be eased on next season. But we need someone who can do the job next season, can't be relying on an aging Scholes/ Giggs, or injury prone Anderson.

SSB

@Berbatov and Carrick will both refuse to go back to Spurs, the Spurs fans will also not entertain the idea. Rio and Wes would not raise anywhere near enough funds to lower the Modric fee. I cannot see Harry giving him up, he has made that clear yesterday. Either that or he is driving the price up.

What do you think Ed? Is Modric a feasible option?

United will not sign Neuer, fact! And to be honest if he doesn't want to leave Germany then its best we don't have him anyway! Ashley Young in my eyes will be signed, although id like to see Hazard (20 million. .bargain) Goetze will join next season, this season will see perhaps pirlo joining the club.

Sydney you say rooney does not want to go . have you a source telling you that as i think hes going . ps if we got a fair price and we could make sure all the fee went on team building as opposed to interest payments i would say good luck as his wages are out of order

Hey Ed, what's the latest on Neymar? He looks pretty special (albeit against Scotland) and he's running the game. Can't see him at United, but interested to know where he might end up.

Cheers {Ed002's Note - Chelsea is most likely.}
