Just reading about a takeover bid backed by a Qatari family that own PSG and fronted by Scholes, Giggs, Beckham, Neville and Butt - all sounds very odd. One thing that is true though is that I would love to see Becks back here in an ambassadorial role.

Not just any Qatari Family, The Qatari Royal Family. 2 Billion take over, fronted by aforesaid .

They tried to buy united a couple of years ago. They offered the glazers 1.5 billion, but the glasers wanted 2 billion.

With the nike/ umbro deal were suppose to be agreeing I could see the glazers wanting more now.

I doubt we will see any deal go through.

Quite exciting news. Whilst I'm not one for buying success I think it's different for us. We are already a top team. I like the way Madrid are now introducing youth to the squad but also buying big on one or two. I'd be happy to see us go that way.

Absolute tosh from the red top some of the class of 92 are buying Salford think it was city not sure.

I don't think one person or a group can own more than one football club on a continent. Wouldn't there be a conflict of interest? What, if after such a takeover the two teams owned by the group were to face each other in the CL? Think loans and playing against the parent club.
