{Editor's Note: I am sure both players have been watched. De Gea is, in my vie, unlikely to move to Old Trafford in the near future. Sanchez is perhaps a target for the summer and I understand a couple of other clubs may well be interested from England. One will be Manchester City. A bidding war may become a problem. Expect interest from both Milan clubs and Real Madrid as well.}

@My point made to Ngiak was that United were interested in them, not that we will definitely get them.

As for a bidding war, City are out of the running, Sanchez wants to join United, his team mates say he is pining for a move to United as he is a lifelong fan, i have also seen a picture of him and his dad together in a room with United wallpaper. His dad is a United fanatic just like Schweinsteiger's brother.

Whether City offered 50m for him and we offered 20m, he will chose us and at the end of the day its his decision, not the Udinese's. He may choose to stay in Italy or go to Real as he also followed them as a youngster, La Liga was big in Chile, well it still is.

City won't benefit from his marketing potential mind, only United, Liverpool or Real Madrid would benefit from that.

What do you think about what i have said Ed? I'll see if i can track down that picture.

Sydney!
{Editor's note - I hope you are right, would like to see Sanchez's dream come true;)}

Dear mr sydney!,
yes, ngiak concedes that you may be right with your inference about the visit. again, ngiak was just stating that there is no actual bid or request yet. thanks for pointing it out to ngiak.
he may know some stuff but he does not know everything. .

@Hi Ngiak, did you see my picture on 'Man Utd sightings'? I have no inside info on United's interest on De Gea or Sanchez, i am just putting the evidence together. I could lie and say i know United are looking at De Gea & Sanchez but then i would be lying, like i said i just look at the bigger picture.

De Gea - Linked with United in Every paper, Website & press association in Spain & England. Fergie went to watch the Valencia/Atletico game with our goalkeeping coach whilst missing a United game. Eric Steele has been to Atletico three times before this visit.

Sanchez - We tried signing him at 17, three weeks ago Fergie admitted during an interview that he has done personal background checks on Sanchez, he also said he could be the next Ronaldo. Sanchez's agent has confirmed that United have contacted him personally. United make a big effort with the Chilean president and miners. We sign a sponsorship deal with Chile's biggest red wine company. In my opinion they are laying down foundations for marketing and merchandising reasons for when we buy a Chilean player. There is a big market in Chile by the way.

None of this means United will sign De Gea or Sanchez but it does show that we have an interest in both of these players. None of it is concrete evidence but its decent evidence.

What do you think about what i have said ed? Do you believe we are monitoring Sanchez & De Gea?

Anders Lindegard: £3 million.
Transfers Out:
Mame Biram Diouf: £5 million.
Tomasz Kuszczak: £5 million.

Man United Summer Transfers:
Transfers In:
Javier Pastore: £40 million max.
David de Gea: £20 million max.
Transfers Out:
Owen Hargo: £0 million released.
Michael Owen: £0 million released.
Oliviera Anderson: £10 million.

~Who was the silly boy who wrote this dribble? Diouf ids not for sale, De Gea has a buy-out clause of 16m so he will not cost 20m tops.

And why in hell would we sell Anderson after that performance? He was world class today, he was the best player on the pitch, even better than Berbatov. Anderson is just 22 and could end up being United's best player. Without Fletcher, Giggs, Hernandez Scholes & Valencia today and still cruised to victory.

Ed did you see Anderson today? Will we need to spend on a Scholes replacement if he continues with this form? What do you think Ed? {ed's note - if he can keep his form then there is no need to buy a replacement, but he needs to play well a lot more often than he has done so.}

"Like i said i hope this is not the case, but can you see any other way of raising 220m? It would suit United as a loan of 220m would carry annual interest of 15m a season and this way we would avoid paying interest. It would also suit Epson as they are really getting free sponsorship in a way.

Its a weird one isn't it Ed?
{Editor's note - It is a weird one}"

I am surprised that the ed hasn't rubbished these suggestions of epson lending united 220mil. Against what? Secured against what? This is 220mil we are talking about not some money you lend your friend! It has to be secured against an asset or else against the shareholding of the glazers (but in that case the interest will still be almost as high and accuring as the PIKs making no sense whatsoever). Nobody lends money without security especially that big an amount that too after what the financial world has gone through. There is not even a remote possibilty of epson lending the glazers 220mil and then not asking for any interest that too when the 220mil is not secured against any asset (no asset has been transferred to RFJV, if it was the bondholders would have been notified)

The epson deal is simply a sponsorship done by united's commercial arm and will see the clubs' revenues go up by no more than 5-10mil a year. Its just like the other sponsorship deals we have been signing. The papers got a sniff of it but it was at a time when the glazers declared their intentions to pay off the PIKs, thus the media comes up with this stupid controversy theory of epson getting a stake in united etc. and hopelessly tries to link another sponsorship deal with the PIKs payment without actually examining if anything of this sort is actually possible.

Just suppose this so called money lending has taken place and tomorrow the glazers refuse to pay epson their money back, what security do they have? Nothing at all! Glazers refinancing or raising money from other investments or against other assets makes more sense.

REDFAITH {ed's note - mate I have said it is just a simple sponsorship deal but people are desperately looking for other things that just aren't there. There is no way that the Glazers were given a huge loan in return for the sponsorship.}
